Gave my 5mo old son an adult prescription. scary to think if I hadn't caught it before giving it to him. No consult was given when meds were picked up. And even if the Dr gave the wrong doseage it should have been a big red flag to give a 5mo old an adult dose. Neither kelso or Longview pharmacy caught it. I had to transfer prescription because they kept saying they had to order it and it wasn't coming in. Order was originally for kelso rite aid. Picked up from Longview rite aid. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again.

I wasn't going to even bother but I see others have left the same level of reviews in regards to the female pharmacist so I won't be going back to this location for my prescription. I have a prescription for a narcotic which nowadays is taboo. I've had it since I was a freshman in high school and I'm now 32. I have a pain contract and have never done anything to jeopardize that. As I go to get my prescription I'm standing at the counter waiting and I hear her say something like "ugh I hate these and they'll just want more and more and eventually it will be 30mg" I have 5mg tablets and have never changed or asked for more. Please tell me why someone like me was treated like that. I didn't beg or steal, I didn't abuse or cheat the system. I'm doing it all right and legal but treated like an addict anyways. She needs to educate herself before speaking. I'll pick up elsewhere in the future.

I thought about this for a week as I don’t leave opportunistic reviews unless warranted. I was browbeaten and treated terribly by the female pharmacist who would not disclose her name and eventually slammed the phone down and hung up on me on 3/26/2023. My normal pharmacy, Kelso Safeway, has been shutting down abruptly due to no Pharmacist floating staff. I was in desperate need of my medication and later found out that this Pharmacist could’ve helped me had she wanted to….or at the very least made some suggestions. A nurse at Peacehealth worked this through on the weekend and Rite Aid in Longview filled the script. If Rite Aid records calls I’ve got the exact time I spoke with this Pharmacist who is callous, lacks any compassion, deeply conflictual, jaded and clearly has zero patience. Admittedly I was stressed, but I don’t believe I treated her poorly as she claimed. I spoke to her on speaker and others in my household heard the whole conversation. It’s truly appalling that the Kelso Rite Aid employs a Pharmacist with the type of characteristics that I’ve yet to experience with someone with this level of education and expected professionalism. I’ve been sharing my story with all my friends and family about my treatment. I don’t want anyone to go through what I did. She needs to receive a severe warning at the very least, if not involuntarily terminated. I’ll never forget how horribly she treated me, it was surreal.

Ever since Covid hit this location has gone downhill . The shelves are practically empty. The employees aren’t helpful. The store is in disarray all the time. It’s really not that busy of a store, so it makes me wonder what those employees do all day. Why aren’t products being ordered and stocked on the shelves? Why aren’t they greeting people when they come in and ask if they need help… like they used to?

Be careful using the Amazon Pick-Up Hub at this location. Usually it works like a charm and is quick and easy and honestly super freaking awesome and the ladies are nice and know what's up. But.. if for some reason they refuse your package due to it not scanning into the hub (for whatever reason) and send it back with the Amazon driver - it will still be marked as delivered in your email and neither Amazon or Rite Aid will reach out to you (or really be able to) in any form to let you know that they were refused and sent back. I sat on hold with Amazon for nearly an hour trying to figure out where my packages were and what actually happened. They said a technician would be investigating the situation the day after I'm posting this to make sure no issues with their system interfere with the pick-up hub again in the future with other orders. But just be careful! If you don't receive an email with the pick-up code/bar code scan then call in advance, don't waste your gas or bus money. Otherwise a great quiet place with great workers and good prices. Highly recommend. Good location too.

I recommend this rite aid location to anyone who has ever experienced poor customer service because the service I receive every time I go there is exceptional and their kindness and helpfulness will more then make up for any bad experiences at another location! I would like to thank Marcy who went above and beyond to help me literally 10 minutes before the store was closing and she never made me feel rushed and was so nice and upbeat! So friendly and helpful!! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! By far the best customer service I've received in a very long time! Thank you kelso rite aid for hiring exceptional people!!

The only issue I have, and it really makes me mad, is when I signed up for the booster Covid shot online with Rite-Aide, which requires your email to confirm your appointment, suddenly my email is bombed with 20+ spam medical, insurance, supplement, health and similar nonsense, emails a day. To the tune of more than 150 emails a week, literally. Never had this issue till I did the online signup with Rite-Aide. Be aware, they will sell/share your information.

Came to the Kelso location after a bad experience visiting the poorly run Longview location. The Kelso Riteaid is in much better shape and actually looks as if they are more serious about how they run the place.

Whenever I am in the area, I stop in to look. Good sales, but in general, more expensive than other places I shop at. Nice selection of greeting cards, vitamins, snacks n much more. Customer service is better than at the Rite Aid in Longview. I was taking pictures 4 this review and was being watched due 2 suspicious activity. Duh....we can take pictures of whatever whenever folks! Take a chill pill mister!

The store is pretty great everyone is super friendly, however the pharmacy is the worst. Dawn especially is off putting and isn't helpful. She never smiles and made it feel like it was an inconvenience to pick up my prescription. The first time I was in she didn't even ask what I needed she just stared at me until I asked her for help. I won't be going back to this place.

Tried bringing a return in today, even though I grabbed it in 20 seconds or less, the cashier decided to then help the next person in line. Then I was told I needed to go to the back of the line again. Behind 8 people. So ridiculous and rude! I was next in line. She Should've helped me first, as I was next in line. Definitely shouldn't have had to go to the back of the line again. 20 minutes I waited!

Granted I'm a patches, ripped jeans, black jacket type but every time I've gone into this Rite aide I've been met with a lot of apprehension. I'm well aware that theft is a constant problem, but each time I step in and take too long looking at something "camera check on all aisle" is called. After the 4th time I asked an employee about this and they told me that "asking made me more suspicious" and that they're "trained to spot facial give-aways". That if I was uncomfortable here then "why do I even shop here". They asked if I wanted speak to a manager but I was so upset that I paid for my items and immediately left. I admittedly spent some time crying in my car and have rarely visited since. Honestly...the selection is pretty great though.

This is seriously the best pharmacy EVER!! I hate to even do a review because I want to keep all the goodness to myself. The staff is SUPER awesome and friendly!! They are helpful. FAST! NO lines! Best pharmacy in Cowlitz county hands DOWN! I've used Walmart, Safeway, and Target in the past and was disappointed every visit for one reason or another.

This Rite Aid is kinda expensive, at least more than other convenience type shops I've been to. Store clerks are really nice though, and the store itself is clean and well lit.

Awesome service very pelite easy to talk to I recommend this rite aid over the triangle location any day!!….
