I come here often and let me give you the breakdown…Pros:1) staff is friendly and understanding2) there is a large verity in what they have and u will most likely find what u need3) there r mirrors around the store so u can see how something looks on u4) if u donate then u get a card with a bunch of discounts that work immediately- I saved almost 10 dollars from it5) it is very organized6) they have the best selection of items I. The areaCons:1) there r a lot of stained clothing items that are marked for a high price - but was looking at a pair of branded jeans that had a period stain on them for 23.99 which is a good price for a branded item but u usually wouldn’t wash jeans because of shape and sizing2) there r no dressing rooms and there is a strict policy on not using the bathrooms to change- however if u can slip the clothing piece on quickly then u will be able to check itself in the mirrorsOverall it’s a pretty average thrift store…Edit: I went back for some more thrifting and upped my review by one star because the staff was so kind about finding every possible way to get a charger for my android because it ran out of charge. The staff was also super nice, and you can find some steals there that were amazing! There are also 30% off on Tuesday for seniors which came in really handy when shopping with my mom who qualified as a senior.

Employees have all been very nice, and the store is well kept and managed. My only issue is that corporate greedflation has hit this location hard: the prices here are basically the same as retail new, if not more. For example, I found a used Cat n Jack toddler t-shirt for $7, that same shirt brand new would be $6-8 at Target. That was definitely the Norm for kids clothing prices, with most t-shirts running $7-8. Home goods and decor cost the same as you will find at HomeGoods. Anything collectible gets priced the same as the most expensive comparable on Mercari or EBay. These items are donated and free, if Value Village was paying their employees more I would say it was fine but somehow I think all the money is going to corporate shareholders.(Photo is of collectible prints priced $20-30)

Quite disappointed. Make sure you superinspect your glass items cause the minute you scan item to purchase and leave store. It's yours. I was told I can re-donate and get a 20% coupon. If I had already made it home and found the issue fine I understand that return can not be processed Sheezzzz. Know my glass item is going to be a anger management tool ! Smash and trash.

Absolutely TOP NOTCH! Even had to call the manager (Marie) to the floor to personally tell her (that's her and I in the pic - she's Awesome!). Ok, here's the deal, clean (very clean) store, Extremely customer-focused staff AND they work well with each other, easy checkout and loads of stuff in an ORGANIZED store. I was only in town for a bit but - if I get a chance later - "I'll Be BACK" //Vic

It's okay. The times I've visited location I've maybe found a few things I've liked, but I haven't really been impressed. That's on me, though. Maybe I came too late to see something already bought. I kinda miss the Value Village that used to be in Redmond where you were almost guaranteed to find some cooler stuff. Not so much here. It's a generally clean place (though when I was there, I guess some customer used the bathroom but didn't bother telling the workers there that they used up all the toilet paper), but now I can only hope whomever used that bathroom didn't continue browsing stuff because that's just gross.Parking can be open depending on some days, but because it shares with McDonald's, expect the western end to be kind of swamped with cars headed to the drive-through, along with cars on the east side trying to donate stuff.

Great staff, amazing, finds.Protip; whatever is outside thay you like get tagged before browsing. I missed out on something I really wanted because I didn't know:(I will say, there are no safety precautions questionable, yet easily cleaned, dirty grim on plastics. Very disappointing and downgraded a star due to the lack of hygiene.(Some items are over priced, I saw jars at 2.99 that were from Dollar Tree for 1.25 makes it hard to know the pricing is equitable)

Very unhappy with the “new” pet policy. I have been bringing my little, well trained dog in the store for over a year. The employees allowed him in, and have given him pets and smiles. Today a manager, a man with a grey ponytail asked us to leave. He came up to me and my 77 year old mother while she was browsing the book section and asked us to leave. I will never be back. He made me very uncomfortable. Beware pet lovers, let’s not give the Issaquah store our business.

Good stuff but customer service is lacking. Employee was helping me for a missing price tag, said sorry I don’t know, and left to help 3 other customers. Then I have to wave them down to help me again, and they just tell me that the item must go back and be reprocessed. So turns out the employee knew the whole time what to do, but told me I don’t know. Welp there’s 5 minutes of my life I’ll never get back

Tried to drop off a couch about 40 minutes before close and the worker told me he was all out of room. I asked if there was any way he could take it because I’d come a long way and didn’t want to bring it back up two flights of stairs and he said he could take it off my hands for $100. After an awkward silence he passed it off as a joke and I just left. Great place to shop usually but soliciting bribes is super scummy.

would rate 0 stars if i could… was attempting to purchase a jacket from this place and was greeted with profiling. i had already bought the jacket but a very old white haired lady worker took the jacket from me and told me that i couldn’t buy it due to a pricing issue. i told her that i will pay whatever price they want because i have plenty of money and its not an issue. she then offered me a job in a very sarcastic way due to my looks im assuming. i hope she will be reprimanded for this. will never be returning to this store.

My girlfriend loves being thrifty and always gives me a hard time for not taking her to these "value village places" she keeps hearing about (apparently they don't have any where she's from). After visiting the cougar mountain zoo (which btw was fantastic) I took her here....and she loved it.We found a lot of cool stuff for our garden and a couple shirts. They had everything here and it was more organized than I thought it would be (I get stupid panic attacks in unorganized cluttery places. It's rather obnoxious). She enjoyed this place quite a bit.

Unfortunately, I was racially profiled here 2 days ago. So this is my call for them to do better.I arrived shortly before opening along with a few other cars, looking for some lightly used office furniture. They had a black filing cabinet and coffee table for a great price, outside the front if the store with the other major furniture. There was a rep helping someone else, with sold stickers so I politely asked to be serviced as well. She was initially kind and and I proactively picked out my two peices.I decided to quickly browse the houseware section at the FRONT,Left of the store for any additional knickknacks or statement peices. I was inside the store for a total of 3 minutes. After not seeing anything, I locate the rep and paid for my items and leave.Looking for assistance to bring the furniture to the curb.As I’m waiting with my car, and chatting with one of the male workers. The lady comes running out “let me see that purse, you got that purse from this store”Excuse me ?!?!? this bright tan, $450 Coach Pillow tabby, that was on my arms and full of my items. My car doors wide open you can see its empty in here? The same store where I didn’t even glance, nor walk towards any clothing? Or accessories? I didn’t even go to that side of the store. You watched pay for my things and take the card out of my bag at the counter. My only thought was a coworker had to put her up to this, but I was livid and embarrassed. The guy who was helping load the furniture, was so apologetic as I started to tear up.I know your town probably doesn’t get many black faces, but do better. And to the rep who questioned me, even though she helped me the entire time and knew my demeanor, shame on you.So whatever, two stars because I found the furniture I needed at a great price and for that gentleman who was kind and had a soul.Stop being disgusting Washington !

Employee Keith (terrible attitude) at the Issaquah location for donation drop off! I hope his supervisor Tracy gets a chance to read this review. Keith+customer service: awful combination. Please put this guy where he cannot interact with the public! Save us all! Today was my last donation to Value Village. OFF TO GOODWILL, where the employees are kind and courteous, not confrontational!

Prices have become INSANE for used items. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and somehow in 20yrs, through two recessions and inflation a T-shirt was always $1-5.So how come in the last 2yrs things have blown up to $20 for a 2nd hand shirt that was donated to them for free. You can’t tell me that’s inflation-it’s corporate greed. Absolutely nothing in this store is worth $20.You know it’s bad when you can get a pair of brand new shorts at Walmart for $5 and the same used pair at V-village for $15.99.I also find it sad they moved to self checkout- the entire purpose of supporting these thrift stores was to give jobs to people who may have trouble finding them. They’re understaffed here but the staff that remain are really great, my review is for the upper management and decision makers of the store.

Picked out a ton of clothes for my 6 an 8 year old. Also found boots. The boots had no price. They said they could not sell them. I told them I’d pay double what they think they cost. They said it had to go back through the system. Poor customer service and poor management.

This place is completely full of all kinds of hidden treasures and all around good deals on lightly used merchandise. There is a constant supply of fresh donations to go through and search for all kinds of stuff you had no idea you even needed.

Great selection of items but some fairly outlandish prices on many of the things. Saw an item on a stock cart and picked it up to look at it, woman rather aggressively told me I couldn’t look at it, it’s for the showcase and she could get in trouble. Why is it on the cart then…? Weird store practices, I’ve never had anything like that happen at a Savers or Value Village. Not overly interested in going out of my way to come back again.

As a frequent thrift store shopper, I appreciate how organized, clean Value Village shops typically are. Issaquah is exemplery! From the large items displayed on the front walk, yet placed so even I with a walker or cart to hold onto can maneuver, to jewelry counter attended by attentive staff, to the clean restrooms in the back corner, this store is well kept & stocked with good quality, previously appreciated items.Plenty of parking with sufficient disabled spots & ramp up the curb.Checkout can look protracted but friendly staff works efficiently to process everyone smoothly. They do close early at this time. (See photo.)Reminder Tuesday is 30% Discount for Seniors!Fyi, some one is going to get some very cute shoes!

Terrible prices. You all know they take free stuff and then charge prices as if they were new, right? They're literally stealing from you. Saw a shirt that goes for $5 at target sell for $7.49 here. And the employees are racist...

This is a well stocked store. Lots of name brands. It’s all self checkout so no long lines! Parking is ample. It’s located behind the McDonald’s on East Lake Sammamish Parkway.

I shop here somewhat regularly and I’m honestly appalled at the prices. The last time I was in I attempted to purchase a printer. It did not have a price tag. It was taken from me and I was told I could not purchase it until tomorrow as it needed to be re-priced. I understood and asked them if they could set it aside tomorrow as I was okay to come back and get it the next day and I was promptly told “no there are no holds” When I inquired how I would then be able to get the printer they told me there were other ones I could purchase in the store instead. Anyone who thrifts knows some of the appeal is that the item is 1 of 1. To offer me any old printer in the store was bad customer service. I will not be back.

I used to love coming to this Value Village because of the quality of stuff the choose to sell from all of the donations (especially the clothes). During Covid when stores were allowed to open again to the public they chose to no longer offer fitting rooms - side note and my personal opinion… I think that was was a smart decision given the circumstances. Long story short, they permanently closed the fitting rooms, this is why my rating is so low. One cashier did suggest I wear super tight leggings and tank top to try the clothes on over my clothes .

Bought a mirror for my college age daughter. $15 good price. 60 seconds after leaving noticed a crack in Mirror. I asked if I could return. They said "no returns". Lady screamed at me, no receipts - NO returns. I said the printer had no paper. She said my fault. I left annoyed, please don't hire people like this. The girl that served is was great (red hair, long) was nice, but clearly scared of her "boss". 7/15/2023. 5.24pm. Donated $100s worth of stuff. Not going back. I don't like dealing with people that hate their job.

There are no changing rooms and there is only self checkout, but I've found some good stuff here.

Found a bunch of cool stuff. I went through the self check out one of the employees opened a couple of registers because people were lining up. I had a few awkward heavy items like mirrors and big pillows and a blanket. I accidentally scanned the wrong tag for a dog puzzle that was wedged under the heavy mirror because I assumed the loose tag in my cart was for that and the employee working the SCO immediately came up and asked where the item was. She then proceeded to go through every item of mine, one by one and made me remove the scanned things from my bag to show her. It sort of defeats the self-check out process and made me feel like she thought I was up to shady business. I spent $70 and don’t think I’ll return to this location.

No fitting room, so presumably they're banking on it that if you bring it home and it doesn't fit, you won't take the time to bring it back. If the clothing was reasonably priced, that might be an acceptable way to do business, but they are charging premium prices, $20 and up, for -used- clothing that was donated to them. Plus, they've gone to self-checkout for ALL their registers. So they're employing fewer people, they've reduced the amount of services provided to customers, and yet still charging more for items I can find in better condition on Poshmark, for less. I know that other thrift stores have also gone up in price, but at least they're still providing jobs for people. With this store, apparently keeping people employed is not a priority. Very disappointed.

Things are becoming ridiculously overpriced at this location. Half used note pad for $3.99, I think not. Also manager Jackson, you’re not asset protection, there was no need for you to follow around a mother with her two toddlers because you thought she was stealing, overheard you talking about it with other employees.I really like the self checkout kiosks that were put in and the employees at the donation center were great. Super helpful and kind.

Well I caved and came in today. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! The prices have gone up so much I saw Dollar tree items in the store for more than what they sell them for there. I Was in on Tuesday. Completely shocked by the fact all cashiers are gone. Is you scan checked out only. Isn't enough that the CEO of Value Village gets all the stuff for free? The GREED is disgusting. And he is truly NOT a nonprofit, most people don't know that.p I put down my items and will never step foot back in that building.
