I came in to buy a micro ecosystem for Mother’s Day and the guy working was so helpful in educating me and guiding me on the best one to purchase for my mom. He even added some extra pink plants to the jar to help customize it and make it look more colorful. Great price for an amazing Mother’s Day gift!

I was driving to Issaquah. I suddenly remembered Gilman village and stopped by after a long time. I haven't been here for a few years and found some new shops. Among them, I was very interested in Aqarscape studio. At first I thought it was a plant shop and went inside. However, a mysterious world was created with plants in the water. I was fascinated by the mysterious water landscape. They have classes.An aquascape allows you to create your own landscape within your aquarium. If you are interested in this, I recommend that you stop by here and see what is displayed in person.

Set in the beautiful Gilman Village, Aquascape is a cute studio which transforms into a rainforest setting with plants all around you literally! (on the walls, hanging above your head) with music in the entire studio.The Owner CD is a friendly owner who gives all the details, demo for any of the plants including the air plants or aqua plants. We bought a baby Bulbosa after seeing a larger Bulbosa plant which sits on his table under a table light and a glass enclosure as it will soon bloom!There are lots of different Pothos varieties & aquatic plants that you can keep for your aquarium.This was the first visit to Gilman village and absolutely loved the small, beautiful set of different types of shopping experience and restaurants in this village setup.

I was in Gilman Village looking for a gift for my grandma. My family and I stopped in this shop just to check it out. I was in awe. I’ve never seen anything like this! These are little self-sustained ecosystems.I’m a mom, a dog mom and a plant mom…I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take on any additional responsibilities.But I couldn’t shake how absolutely cool these tanks are. So, I returned 30 minutes later. CD (the owner who turned a dream into reality)is an awesome person and created an “experience” by helping me build my little ecosystem. I can honestly say that I had the BEST time. I’m not a “things” person, and I’m always searching for that meaningful, fulfilling gift…and this was it! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING. I will be back!

The best aquarium shop I have ever walked into! You can tell how well they maintain each and every tank. Every single employee I talked with were super friendly and knowledgeable.I have talked with Sicheng (one of the employees) many times, he’s an expert on indoor aquariums, outdoor ponds, house plants, fishes, etc. he gave me very practical advice on how to build an outdoor rice fish pond.

This shop is a gem and must be visited. The environment is so cool and you'll love the vibe in here. My partner and I worked with CD on a design and it came together beautifully. I keep coming back for more plants, equipment, fish and to just say hi to the staff.

If you’re looking for an awesome and extremely reasonably priced room ornament or plant this is the place to stop. But even more so, if you’re trying to seriously build out a green setting, aquarium, or aqua scape, this place is the pinnacle. Staff is always super friendly and nice. The vibe immediately takes 20pts off your blood pressure when you walk in. The walls are lined with exemplary examples of aquaculture. The shop sports name brands such as ADA, Fluval etc at a great price, everything from carpet plants to sand to hardware, consistently supplied with what you want, unlike petco etc. Haven't found a store quite like it in the Seattle area, and I hope they hang around.

Okay I didn’t buy anything (this time) but CD who I believe is the shop owner was so nice and fun to talk to! He had such a great eye for design and plant decor and I absolutely loved meeting him and hearing about his processes in making some of his setups. Such a cool shop and I can’t wait to go back and get my own setup! :)

Awesome shop with a variety of items and plants. CD, shop owner, was fun and informative to chat with. I didn't know liquid CO2 was an option. I got a bottle and now I can see my plants grow without the full tech setup!Aquascape Studio has a similar vibe to Aquarium Zen with full aquascapes. Highly reccomend checking it out. It's only 20 minutes from downtown Seattle over the Mercer bridge.

I love popping into the shop whenever I can. It's such a calming and inspiring atmosphere, but what makes this place special is the staff. CD, Brandon, Abigail, and Damon are all friendly, super knowledgeable, but most importantly so willing to help!
