Well the fact you need a membership to get a hotdog or slice of pizza now days sucks. Everything is overpriced for being in bulk, in my opinion- a lot of items aren’t actually cheaper than online or in a store like Safeway. So it takes a lot of math to make sure you’re getting a good deal. The parking lot and check out lines are always a nightmare. We had a horrible time with the tire center here. They literally lost our car keys for an hour. Overbooked, understaffed and overall I think the prices need to be better to justify the experience of going. The only positives are - good pizza for cheap, good produce for decent price, good frozen family meals and the pharmacy has always been pretty quick and fair.

Sushi made in-house is one of the best features of this Costco location. They have nigiri, rolls, and sashimi made with real crab, tuna, salmon, and scallop. The real crab California roll was good. I preferred the salmon to the tuna nigiri. I need to try the scallop sashimi.PS If this review was helpful, please "heart" it. Thank you!

Hello Heaqurarters,I wanted to share that while I understand why we should love the fact that 50% less plastic is being used for this high volume product, the sustainability factor after opening the bag goes down significantly which creates an issue for storage and cleanliness.Subtracting plastic from another product perhaps is a better plan as now we must open the entire bag and expose all the paper towels at once.I’m sure this is saving Costco millions of dollars but it’s inconvenient as I have had to purchase additional plastic ware to house this product in storage.Purpose defeated. 😞

Stopped by for lunch at 12:15 4/19/24 at the Issaquah Costco, right next to the corporate headquarters. There was not one, but two missing large mustard dispensers at the food court and no mustard packets available at the counter either. Why no one picked mustard up from inside the store for customer use is beyond me. Also, there are three complete soda dispenser sets for customer use and only 50% of one of the three systems had any soda. We are now being asked to scan our Costco cards and this is what we get at the food court. I expect better from Costco.

The usually sweet old lady (grey hair, ponytail, glasses) was at the exit door marking receipts. She knew the woman in front of me because they started chatting and I heard old lady say "How are you doing"? She proceeded to chat with her for a good 20 seconds before I decided that's enough. I started to go around when old lady marked my receipt and said " Show some patience ". Old lady, your job is to mark the receipts and keep the line going on Easter weekend, not to chitchat. When you chat for 20 seconds and there's no sign of you stopping your gabbing, you need to call her on your off time. DO YOUR JOB!

Super busy on the weekends but they are stocked up with food, clothes, books, few toys, pharmacy, and more. I happened to drop by on a Monday before school let out and it was pretty empty.Parking can be hard to find but there is extra parking across the street. The prices can't be beat. You are able to get most of everything for your grocery run. Best of luck on your shopping adventure!

Greeters at the entrance can be jerks. My wife did not have the card on her and could not get in while I was returning some items. I walked up a few minutes later and overheard the greeters discuss her amongst each other and make fun of her. You should have seen surprise on their faces when she walked right in with me.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Costco in Issaquah, and I have to say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who were eager to assist me with my shopping needs. The store itself is well-organized and spacious, making it easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. And the selection is simply amazing - from fresh produce and meat to electronics and household essentials, Costco has everything you need and more. One thing that really stood out to me during my visit was the high quality of the products. Everything from the fresh-baked bread to the clothing was of top-notch quality, and the prices were unbeatable. I even found some items that I had been searching for for weeks at other stores! But what really made my experience at the Issaquah Costco stand out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help me find what I needed. And when I had a question or concern, they went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied.Overall, I can't say enough good things about the Costco in Issaquah. Whether you're a frequent shopper or just passing through, this store is definitely worth a visit. The combination of high-quality products, unbeatable prices, and exceptional customer service is truly unbeatable. I highly recommend it!

I had a bad experience at Issaquah Costco today. When I was at the exit, the staff was checking the receipt and found a bag of rice that was not on the receipt. The staff asked me to wait at the exit. I feel very bad. And I waited for almost 5 minutes. I wanted to say: This is not my fault, it’s your staff who didn’t scan it. Then, the staff should apologize, but they didn’t.

Never had a more amazing shopping experience. People told me „it’s like going to Disneyland for adults“ - now I know why! Amazing prices and great merchandise. Try the amazing 1.50$ Hot Dog!

In the heart of the Issy & next to the world headquarters is this warehouse. With a new sushi section that they are experimenting with is the the Issaquah Costco. Great selection of Asian food products & believe it or not, brand name clothing! They also have flowers or Lego flowers if you're not good at keeping things watered. I'm always walking away with something in my basket every day.Saturday is super crazy with the additional traffic from the farmers market. And no one driving a Tesla knows how to park within the lines so watch whom you park next to because sometimes it's worth parking farther away.Pro Tip: Skip on the $18 sushi & go for the take gyro kit! The Veuve Clicquot is also a great find.Midas 5-stars - for the special finds.Midas 2-star - for the self-checkout mess & pharmacy that can never get it on time.

Went to the issaquah location for their new sushi department. Not a lot of variety, they had the basics (California roll, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon) but very fresh. The rice was so soft and the rolls were actually heavily packed with the ingredients

Sadly to say but very rude employees. I have been going to Costco since I can remember as a kid, and now as an adult I go there at least twice a month. This location has very young managers and leads that have very little customer service expertise and treat people poorly. This one young lead cashier person instead of providing solutions for me while I ask her to help me pay with my T-mobile Visa card, she proceeded to give me attitude and make me feel embarrassed. The signal at Costco is zero so using a virtual card is very difficult. The cashier older gentleman was rushing me not letting me think and causing my anxiety to spike. I think Costco needs to train their employees to troubleshoot and help the customer. Instead of putting them in uncomfortable situations, and or make them feel embarrassed because their card isn’t working. I know we are all busy and trying to get to places but please consider some of us suffer from chronic anxiety and when you provide zero empathy and help it can really hurt us and our health. Thanks for reading this.

It's a Costco! I'm going to focus my review on something other folks haven't addressed, especially given that a lot of the other hot topics like the quality of the food court or particulars of the product selection are all relevant to only a subset of Costco visitors. My topic is bike accessibility. This is a phenomenal Costco to get to via bike, as the I-90 trail takes you right to the general shopping center. The shopping center has had a bunch of construction going on which has been at times particularly frustrating on bike but definitely manageable, and they look to be almost done with SEPARATED bike lanes in the shopping center! As for the Costco itself, there is a small wave-style bike rack near the front, and the placement is truly abysmal, with curbs close to it on 2 sides, a busy sidewalk close on another side, and active staging for carts on the remaining side. There isn't really enough space for my bike, and my trailer has to go in the landscaping -- I can't load it up there but have to go find somewhere else to pack everything up. There's also only enough parking for 3 bikes, and the last half-dozen times I've gone, there have been other bikes parked! I assume usually it's employees (and cheers to them!) but sometimes it's also other weirdos like me with bikes that can actually haul some bulk groceries.I wish every Costco had the superb bike-parking of the Redmond Costco (4 utterly luxuriously spaced staple-style bike racks), but I don't feel like there's a safe way to get that last bit to the Redmond Costco, so the Issaquah Costco wins. I just don't bring my trailer if avoidable, and keep me shopping down to whatever I can fit without the trailer.

Ah, Costco. The Redmond location consistently has gas that’s cheaper than the Issaquah location, and it’s (slightly) less mayhem to navigate the parking lot. I feel the deals are not as good as they used to be; lookup that leafblower that’s supposedly $50 off, and you’ll likely find an equivalent at Home Depot for the same price. Do the math, make a plan, buy the loss-leaders and don’t get pulled into buying a bunch of stuff you don’t really need.

Costco Issaquah has just started selling freshly made Sushi. My favorites are Sashimi tray, Nigiri with salmon tuna shrimp & salmon poke bowl with avocado seaweed edamame & rice(majority weights are from thick layer of rice & big cup of sauce). Others are tuna poke and rolls. They are freshly made by 10+ people inside the kitchen and they charge by pound with reasonable prices. Sushi sold at Costco Kirkland are totally different and are pre-made

This Issaquah Branch is almost always crowded. Weekends are crazy peak hours all day. Retail employees are always friendly here and helpful. Returns are always easy-going. This branch has its food booth and dining seats outdoors. It can get pretty cold queuing for food and eating there. Trolley returns get full quickly during peak hours, but the speed of clearing has improved recently. This branch also has pharmacy and provides flu shots as well; our wait time was 40 minutes on a Thursday late afternoon. This branch has started scanning membership cards during entry in an attempt to prevent illegal sharing of membership cards. The scan will pull up members' photograph for verification.

This costco is like most of the others but it carries more Asian cuisine. They don't carry Gregg's ranch like most of the others I've been to nor do they have heavy whipping cream in stock often. Most of the employees I've dealt with are decent. The issue at this specific location is the people who shop here. My special needs 6 year old son has been hit by other people with their shopping cart twice now. People in the store with their carts are like most of the drivers up here in their cars. Rude and entitled. I have yet to figure the slow times here at this location. The parking lot is always full and parking is a huge hassle as well.

The Costco food court is poorly managed. They need to call out the numbers for the whole pizzas and they need to have a live timer for the amount you need to wait for one. I feel sorry for the workers but they really need a better system. You can do better Costco.

It is an absolute honor and privilege to receive the most amazing, genuine and inspiring customer support and services from the finest employees at the neighborhood Costco in Iaasquah. Sending a long overdue thank you from the depths of my heart and soul to these caring individuals who serve the community diligently and unconditionally.Sean the pharmacist is exceptionally knowledgeable and caring; I receive a wealth of excellent, well needed, informative-information from him about my medications; additionally, pharmacist Jeff is equally knowledgeable and helpful. This location of Costco has a beef with halal products. You never find halal meat here. They once carried halal momos by mistake and it was taken off the shelf pretty quickly never to be found again. I have made multiple requests to carry halal meat like other Costco locations do, but my requests vanished in the void.

Seems if they don’t like way you look they’ll send you through the front door for your returns while saying it’s the new policy that everyone has to abide by. Then you look over while you’re at customer service and no one else is being sent through the front door but just you even when you had your item and card in your hand. If your enforcing a new policy it should be applied equally, or is this some form of discrimination?

Terrible racially prejudiced experience at customer service with employee Melinda. She had a very demeaning attitude and racially charged treatment towards us.She blatantly lied about Costco return policies as well. When informed the manager he just blew it off and said she was one of the best employees.Couldn't help but feel that there is prejudice built in their management structure and culture.

Went there for early opening for people over 60 short line to get in and short line at check out. Really appreciate this from Costco. During this tough time it's nice to deal with such a GREAT company that's doing whatever it take to help the public get through this troubled times.
