Our foster cat had an open wound we found last night and Alpine got her in this afternoon when the other three (closer) places I called were booked out three days. I arrived 15 minutes early (I was as anxious as the cat) and the guy at the desk was so nice - gave me paperwork and explained both cat exam rooms were occupied but we could wait in a dog exam room. I chose to stay in the lobby and within 10 minutes of our arrival, the equally nice tech came to get our story and take the cat back for an exam.10 minutes after that, a very patient and kind vet came to tell me what they found (puncture wound) and that they were shaving/cleaning the area now, would give her an antibiotic injection and she'd be out shortly. 5 minutes later the tech brings her out, and answers any other questions I could think of. The woman at the desk then rang me up for a reasonable price and I was out the door by 3:15 though my appointment was at 3:00 - total of 30 minutes in and out! I've never had such a fast and yet also perfect vet experience. A+ !!

Super friendly staff in Issaquah, it always warms my heart the way they greet my dog, Shooter, he's 15 and grumpy but they treat him like an 8 week old puppy. He gets so excited when he sees the staff that whatever his ailment, there are no longer any symptoms. Although he got too excited the last time and took a massive dump in their floor. They didn't get mad, but both my puppers and I were quite embarrassed. Pawsitively the most caring and compassionate clinic around.

I could not ask for a better team to care for our pup. Nichole walked me through every need and option for those needs. I am a very nervous and emotional person and while my pup was in surgery she texted me updates and cared for him like he was her own. I am able to call her with any worry and treated with such care. Thank you for caring for Tank and restoring his health and caring for me through it!

Ive been taking all my cats to alpine for over 40 yrs. All the vets and techs have given wonderful care to all my many cats Dr Juliette jones is my cat Mosi vet and is taking very good care of her and helping her to lose weight so I cant call her " lunchbox" anymore😂

Alpine Animal Hospital is exceptional! The staff is friendly and practices great client service. Dr. Bowman and Dr. Miles are absolute gems that are so knowledgeable and thorough in their care. In an industry where it can be difficult to find a good veterinarian to care for your pet, Alpine really shines and stands apart from the rest.

We switched from another local Vet to Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah seeking better care for our dog, better answers and understanding of conditions & options for us. We got that! These people work as a team, stay late for you if needed, answer the phone with real people, and provide excellent care for our dog's conditions and really helped us understand things SO much better, including options for treatment there and even at other places; whatever was best for our dog and our family. REALLY appreciate this Team! 🙏

Worst vet I have ever experienced. By far. My 16 y/o daughter bought her first puppy and called around to find a vet (on her own) to have the first vaccinations. She asked about price and the gal told her that it would be between $150-$200 for the first visit. I called and asked some questions and made sure they could call me for payment and I verified that was the price range. She took her puppy in and the bill was over $350. I paid it. Then they said that she needed to bring the pup in for the follow up booster shots. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED the gal if she needed me to put my CC on file for the next visit and she said “no, the next visit is included in today’s”. So, my daughter brought her puppy in yesterday and she had to call me and say that, upon checkout, they were asking for another $200. I spoke with the lady over the phone and explained that we were both told that this visit was included in the payment at the last visit. She said “I’m sorry for the mistake, but it’s just the exam that was included”. I expressed my frustration, paid it and asked that a manager call me because this was a $200 mistake. Today, rather than call me, the manager chose to simply email me the puppy’s records. She explained in her email that it is unacceptable to engage her staff like I did. I believe that expressing displeasure over a surprise $200’s is not un-heard of. I did not yell or use profanity- just simply stated the actual facts of my conversation with the last person I spoke with. Not only do I feel that they took advantage of a 16 y/o girl, they are not honest and up front about their fees. My recommendation would be find a vet that is transparent and will hold their staff accountable when they misinform clients about price. Money isn’t the issue here, it is the sheer disregard. The manager had no problem just sending me the records and had zero interest in hearing my side of what happened. There wouldn’t be an issue if my daughter and I were informed that there was a charge for the next visit. She saved up her money for this pup and feels mislead. I do as well. I asked plenty of times if there was going to be a charge. They didn’t care what we were told.

Update: I wish I could write multiple reviews. I cannot express how much I LOVE this team. I had to say goodbye to my little girl 6 months ago and after we said goodbye and she was gone, I had left her with a blanket. These beautiful angels SAVED THE BLANKET FOR SIX MONTHS and returned it to me today when I brought in my other little girl (For an exam, she is doing great!). I am crying, like... UGLY CRYING. There is no other veterinary team like these people. They seriously care so much. I know when I bring my dogs in, they are loved and cared for and everything is going to be okay. Thanks for taking such good care of my babies.*****They have taken care of my two dogs for years, back when they were an emergency clinic they rescued my older dog from more than one heart failure crash and were able to help keep her alive comfortably until she turned 21 this year, then when her kidneys gave out they were able to help me say goodbye. Love these people. So kind.

My sweet kitty needed emergency care and I took him here. The staff did everything they could to help him and was straight forward with me about the prognosis and costs. He ended up passing away within a couple hours after we were there. During the visit, the staff showed care and compassion. They were all amazing with him and our family as we said our final goodbyes. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Ellsworth and the staff. Thank you for making a tough situation a little easier.

Overall great care. One major issue, we had to take our beloved dog to be euthanized; the vet was great, tech was great. But we were just in a regular cold exam room sitting on the floor with her saying goodbye - and then the unbelievable happened. The door opened and a clerk from the front desk asked "how did we plan on paying for this?" I was ready to put her down! How insensitive. We have been clients since moving here and have always paid every bill on full walking out the door. What the heck was she thinking. Awful.

New pet owners, we weren't sure how to decide on a vet but saw their accreditations and wellness plan and gave them a shot. We were nervous our puppy would hate the vet, but she is legitimately excited to go in everytime we come and the staff seems to absolutely love her. The wellness plan makes some of the choices we were faced with easier and expenses less intimidating offering a good value while spacing out payments. Glad we gave them a shot to give our puppy all of hers.

Our malamute was lost and was brought by someone to this hospital. She stayed here overnight and seemed to be cared for really well. She didn't eat for hours before becoming lost. When we picked her up in the morning, she didn't seem hungry at all. I'm really thankful to the hospital staff and whoever brought our girl here. Everyone was super friendly. We didn't get charged any fees. If we ever need emergency vet care, this place will be in my mind.

I've taken my three successive cats there for over 30 years. My cats always get great Doctors. They were very compassionate while putting my last two cats to sleep and sent sympathy cards. They were very good at testing for problems as the cats became seniors and also counseling me on what to do to help reduce their aging symptoms. I recommend them.

I have two very old Persian Cats...19 and 15. I just recently had to put my 19 year old baby boy Maxwell down. The staff was amazing and so caring, on my difficult choice and day. Dr. Huang was delightful and compassionate, and so was everyone else. I have been going there for the past 2 years, and generally get in quickly and they are very thorough. It's not a quick visit, but I would rather have them be thorough than not. Thank you for everything you do. Gene Robinson

Our dear girl Cleo, at age 15, developed a tumor on her spleen last October. With her advanced age and help from the team at Alpine Animal Hospital we chose to manage her pain rather than to operate. Then in late January her time finally ran out. It was an emotional time for my wife and me. Shortly thereafter we received a card with condolences from Dr. Sarah and Dr. Victoria--what a thoughtful gesture! They touched us with their kindness. We know for certain which vet our next dog will go to. Overall, I've been bringing my pets here since the mid-1980's. I can't image trusting their care to anyone else.

We have been visiting from out of town and it looked like my Argo had an infection. I am so glad they were able to get him in on short notice. The professionalism and thoroughness was impeccable. I would feel confident and safe bringing my fur baby in again.

Last week we had to send our beloved Holly dog over the rainbow bridge. It was a very difficult time for my family but the veterinarian and all of the staff were so compassionate and caring. My family was able to give Holly some special treats and spend her last moments with her. Today I picked up her ashes and paw prints and again the staff was very sweet. They were all wonderful in what was a horrible situation. Thank you all for your compassion.

I called during pandemic to check whether they offer walk-in or emergency care. The receptionist was very polite and warm-hearted. Although they don’t offer ER, she pointed me to Blue Pearl which ended up helping me. She even called several hours later to follow up to see whether my cat got taken care of. I really appreciate her care.

Took our little rescue dog there that got bit by our bigger dog. The total cost keep on going up in price by the min. Think we walked out by the time it came over $5000. They wanted to do everything they could to drain our bank account. To the point of saying don't you love your dog. So we just oped to have them put a bandage on him till Monday so our normal vet could see him. They glued the bandage on ! In return made it much harder for our normal vet to take off. And she said that that was uncalled for. This place just wants your money. I that they just want profits over heath and quality care for your pets! We drive over to Ellensburg and take the dogs to a live stock vet. Cheaper and a more practical aproch to animal's health.

I've had nothing but great experiences here. I moved across town and the next day I scolded my dog and she went down to the corner which was only two blocks from our old house. A local girl saw her, grabbed her and took her to Alpine. I brought her back because of gratitude. I brought her a second time because they were great! Dr. Drew is great and so are all the other staff.

They take great care of my old kitty that has kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. He's on kidney food and meds for his hyperthyroidism and is doing great. One time on a Saturday my husband and I both gave our kitty his meds 15 minutes a part. I called the vet and Sarah his normal vet wasn't working but they assured me he would be ok and to monitor him for any odd behavior. On Monday when Sarah was in the office she called me to make sure our kitty was doing good.

I took my pets here for emergency care for years. After a very bad, and extremely expensive, experience, where my pet ended up worse than when he came in, I called to complain. They put the vet on the phone . While I asked questions like, how long have you been practicing? she stated "I can have our manager call you." I told her to do that. The manager never called, but I received a very terse, rude letter saying that they would no longer care for my pets. No problem, my vet doesn't even recommend them. I'll go to a good, kind, competent emergency vet in the future.P.S. I asked about filling prescriptions at Costco and Dr. Hoang told me that it would save only about $5-$10 dollars. That was a BOLD FACED LIE. The prescriptions would have been less than half of what I paid--not only at Costco, but at Rite Aid, Safeway and other convenient pharmacies.

Terrible experience. This past Sunday, we decided to take our 18 year old kitty to this vet because it open and it was close to our house. Our kitty is hyper thyroid and has IBS. She was throwing up and had bloody diarrhea so we didn’t want to wait until Monday to take her to her regular vet. When we got there we “greeted” by a receptionist who is less than friendly..we were taken back to the exam room and we told the vet tech why we were bringing my kitty in...the tech left and when the Vet came in she proceeded to tell us what she knew about our kitty but she didn’t have the information correct so when I tried to It explain to her she kept interrupting me like she knew and didn’t really care about what I had to say...almost condescending...then the vet left to take our kitty in the back for an injection and a different vet tech came back with our kitty.We were then told that the vets office doesn’t make the specific medication , that my kitty needed, in house and suggested we order from this online company. They promised that this company would have the medication to us by Monday night or Tuesday at the very latest. The mediciation was not cheap and the store charged a service fee and shipping but we knew our kitty needed it so we agreed. It is now Friday and the company, that this vet stands by, still has not delivered the medication.I called the vets off and asked them why they told us this would be delivered by the next day and we haven’t received it yet. The girl I spoke To ended up telling me that the company we were advised to use takes 2-3 days to compound and then shipping time. I asked her why they told me something that isn’t true? My cat is now not eating and her health is fragile.she is having to wait all week long to get a medication that she should have been receiving 5 days ago.I would not recommend this vet office.

I moved to Seattle a few days ago. On our way into town, my pup was kicked by an elk after chasing a herd into the woods. The staff at Alpine were amazing. They treated my pup so well, and treated me so well. I am so grateful for the team at Alpine Animals Hospital!

Absolutely love coming here. My pets are always treated very well by all of the staff, the vets and technicians are great at their job, and they saved my Siberian husky that had an(at the time) undiagnosed spinal infection. Even though they are no longer a 24hour emergency hospital, I would recommend Alpine Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a good vet.
