Campground, think they rent campers. I stayed in my 5th wheel. I stayed in phase one nearest to the pool and lodge. It was quite cramped, few more feet between site would have been nice, if you have a big truck parking is rough, specially when people coming in and out of sites. Phase two was in the woods and seemed like sites were bigger. The camp was quiet and the view from the lodge was awesome. They are usually a member only but was glad to see they were accepting anyone. I was able to get a site a week before going so I was pleased just to get a spot since everyone else was full. The pool looked nice but wasn't able to use it, to busy site seeing and beaching. If you have a big rig be careful coming in as the guard shack is a bit tight, I would advise using the left lane if no one is coming down the hill, that is quite steep as well.Nearby activities: Beach, hiking, biking, light house, fishing.

This could be a wonderful RV park and clearly was when it was in its prime. Unfortunately it has not been kept up. Bathrooms are disgusting and went uncleaned for a week. Trash is often overflowing. Hosts are nowhere to be found in the park - the folks next to us were sketchy and not even sleeping in a tent or RV. Looked like a homeless camp. Hosts were unpleasant and signs make it appear that they don’t like communicating with customers or having children around. Pretty sad place unless you’re in a self contained rig. Can’t believe we paid $350 per spot for 6 nights here.

I stayed at this park for 3 weeks (Nov 15th-Oct 3rd). I spent time getting to know the workers, specifically the maintenance men and the cleaning lady. This establishment is so poorly managed that I would honestly not recommend it to anyone.First, the owners can’t keep workers. From what I experienced and heard this place can’t keep maintenance people because they are treated as slaves and paid basically minimum wage. The cleaning lady walked past my tent in tears more days than most, because apparently the office staff is just rude. The facilities that are available look like they were installed in the 70s and never touched again. There is literal mold growing in the men’s restroom near me. Why would you put untreated wood benches in a shower? The spots are all over priced for what they are. A not-flattened piece of land with a “possibly” working power pole and water - only $50 a night. Free spider infestation with every pole. The trees around are pretty, but I’m not sleeping in the trees…Honestly start putting these business out of work. There is no reason for them to charge a 100x markup on what this park costs to maintain. Especially when the management is vile.P.s. this owner has 10 similar properties in the area and they are all the same. Sunrise Resorts…

The camping sites were good but the facilities were outdated and filthy. In need of maintenance and cleaning. The bathrooms were disgusting with no regular cleaning obviously. After paying and reserving online, the second day I was told I needed to pay additional money $40 for the tent we clearly informed them of. Idiots!! Not going back. They lost another customer.

Stayed for 5 days during 4th of July 2022, in our RV, this was our 1st visit. Asked for a shady spot and we got it! It was so awesome, see pic. There were RVs, 5th wheels, trailers, tent camping all mixed together and it was so like a big family camp. Families with their kids & dogs was really nice. Pool was good, it's a work in progress as walls are being repaired but the water was great & so was the big hot spa! Was all nice & clean. Our son rented a cabin in Phase 1 and it was great, had new floor and full kitchen setup. This campground is in renovation & I think it's being done in stages. Great place for any kind of camping you'd like to enjoy.

This resort was awesome, clean facilities, great hookups for RV’s and the staff was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. Karen, who was working at the front desk the day we checked in went above and beyond. She was kind, caring and helpful. The mini golf was fun, we were told it’s a work in progress but nonetheless, it was great to have a little extra fun while staying here. We will definitely be coming back!

Horrible stay. We stayed in a place with full hook-ups. It seems to be pretty much first come first serve even if you book months in advance. We probably got the worst spot in all of the Campground. The whole campsite was tiny and sloping and NOT leveled at all. We had the hardest time trying to get our camper leveled. No space to even put chairs and our table. Second thing is we weren't able to use our toilet, shower or do dishes at all because the water pressure was so low... I'm so upset about this. We got young kids with us and it made it hard to take care of their basic needs..Bathrooms are disgusting and garbage is always full. This is by far the worst Campground I've been in.

We brought a large group of friends down for a softball tournament over Labor Day weekend. It was our first year at the resort and it was AMAZING! The cabins were great. The RV sites in Phase II are not as snug as Phase I and worked well for us. The only downside was the pool... very sketch, though my kids did swim in it. Also, we would have liked to be able to chose our RV sites so that we are all together next time. Thank you for putting up with us and making booking and accommodations a breeze!

I'll start with the positives-- there at lots of trees around most of the campsites/rv sites so if you get lucky and get one of those it makes you really feel one with nature.-they have showers-close to the oceanThe negatives.-bathrooms aren't kept up with well. There was many times it was muddy and slipped everywhere, and everything was out of stock.-our site didn't even have a picnic table! And they somehow couldn't even find one.-the lady in the front office is EXTREMELY rude. She wouldn't even let my husband speak without cutting him off and not even giving him answers.-they also changes our sites without telling us.-what they call a "playground" is a tiny play structure that is falling apart.

So happy to find this place 😃 this campground has all types of camping to fit your style, simple, group to secluded. There are many group areas that are perfect to reserve for those large family gatherings. The full private bathrooms (many) were a plus for showering.I requested a secluded wooded area and that is exactly what I got! We stayed in phase 3, in a wooded quiet area away from the active family area in phase 2. It was so relaxing, great camp site. They even spaced us out in phase 3 so it was more private, Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for, we both loved it and will be back :)))

Bathrooms/showers were nice and clean, the spot we had was ok. Unfortunately we got a spot in phase 1 (there are 3 total) and it was more of like a parking lot. The other two areas where more wooded. They offer a lot of different activities and has stunning view of the whole town.

My family and I always stay at this campground. We love the staff Lonnie is very sweet and helpful. The grounds are kept clean, and trash free. We love Phase II but recently stayed in Phase III for the 4th of July. The view was amazing, and the people around us were great. This is a wonderful campground to come with your family. I will say it is an older resort so if you are looking for something modern and fancy this will not meet your needs. I am very much looking forward to Rod Run as we have a cabin reserved. We have never had an issue with water pressure, or electrical.

We've stayed here many many times over the last 5 years, and are sad to see it going downhill so fast. The cabin rooms are so moist on the inside, you may as well be tent camping on a dirty mattress. We always have to bring candles to help with the moldy smell, and it IS camping, so all of the above could be easily overlooked, but the lady who now runs the front desk is horribly rude, and that alone nearly killed our last beach vacation. I've not ever been treated so horribly as a paying customer of a place. The cabin smells great, and is always much cleaner when we leave than when we arrived, so she should treat us politely and with respect, but again, sadly, that has not been the pattern.

I have been going to this camp grounds for 15 years now and I enjoyed it until about 6 years ago when the place went down hill. I always stay in the "second phase" area of the resort cause we tent and trailer camp with friends. For the past six years many of us complained about the leaky toilets in the mens' bathroom. They leak between the floor and bottom of the toilet itself. Ones clothes get wet when using this facility and these never get fixed. Also, this year in 2015, the management personnel were not responsive to the campers needs. We asked numerous times to have this bathroom cleaned. They said "We will get right on it." For two days straight the facility was not usable. When asked about why things are in a rundown state....the answer is NO MONEY FROM THE PARENT COMPANY... I don't care if this is a camping resort, would you have this in your home...and they want me to join..NO WAY.Maybe the parent company can use some of the monies from the member funds and fix this site instead of using all the funds for the AZ site. HOW ABOUT IT?

Second year staying in the cabins at this resort for rod run first year was not to bad, a little mildew smell but thats expected at the beach i guess. This year however we noticed the over all cleanliness was not up to standard, the shower head was broken and sprayed a straight stream of water and there is a family of squirrels living in the walls of the cabin we stayed in resulting in us only getting about 2hrs of sleep due to them scratching inside the walls... upon checking out i brought this up to the staff just to be told they will send maintenance over to "check it out" but they haven't heard anything before. Basically shrugging me off.

The water problem is fixed. Some of the buildings are old and rusty but everything is clean and well kept. Lots of very nice new structures also. The staff has always been friendly to us and truely enjoy their job. Both times we stayed here, they managed to fit us in, despite being full. The first time was a life saver. The night before we were in tents and got caught in a heavy rain. We were able to clean up, thaw out, and dry off everything. Thank you Eagles Nest.

The only downfall to this place was the service. The lady who “helped” us reserve spots and checked us in was extremely rude, even for simple questions we had. The cabin we stayed in was nice and clean. the rv spots were also great, lots of privacy. We would like to stay there again but the attitude from the lady makes us want to find somewhere else next time.

Beautiful location, close to a state park. Nice RV spots..roomy, great water pressure, peaceful and quiet surroundings. Already saw two deer. Lodge is beautiful. Looking forward to the Christmas music performance. Suggest using a dehumidifier in your rig for this type of environment. We lucked out finding this place.

If I could give a 0. I would it needs to be condemned immediately. I've been traveling for 6. Months and this is the worst place I've seen. Don't believe the resort sign. It's a dump. The heath department needs to inspect the swamp that they call a pool. Couldn't hardly walk out of camper they was so close I had to step side ways to get between the campers .please stay away from this dump

We have stayed here for 4 years in a row during salmon season in August. However, this last August, was the worst service and treatment we have ever had. We asked to have a spot in the upper, beginning section of the resort, and we "reserved" and called 6 months in advance. When we arrived, they had put us in the completely opposite part of the park that we wanted to be in, in a spot that was way too small for our set up. On the board outside the clubhouse (since we got there at 10pm, they leave a list of your site number on a cork board) there was a list next to our paperwork, that listed the open spots, there were 6-8 spots in the upper lot, that were listed as open. So we took one of those spots for the night because we wouldn't be able to fit in the one we were assigned. The next morning we left them a note saying we were out fishing and would be back later to resolve everything, they called to say that we had to come back and move all our stuff because we took a "reserved" spot. However when we asked why we didn't get a spot we needed, they said they don't take reservations...what?? After we came back to move all our stuff, they magically had a spot ready for us. Due to all that occured, we will not be going back to Eagles Nest. I guess we will have to find somewhere else to stay for our yearly trips.

My family and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend, and in short the resort is a mess. Most of it I can overlook due to age of the place and that it is not over priced for its location and age, but there is no useable water on site. We are in a full hook up site and the water pressure is so low that I get nothing out of the taps. I disconnected the hose to see if there was water there and there was, but I put my finger over the end and the water stopped. No spray no force against my finger. Nothing. So fine I fill up my on board tank and work with that, but then we decide to use the restrooms and showers... Nope. No pressure there either. Barely a trickle out of the showers and sinks. This is not safe and the place should not be open until this is fixed. There are many people here tent camping. With no way to even wash their hands. Campers should at the very least been informed that there were issues with the water. I know I would have made other plans had I known and came back to this "resort" next year, but not now. This place needs to be avoided at all costs until its water issues have been corrected. The town is nice as is the placement of this resort, but not telling campers they there is no water pressure and as such basically no useable water available. Otherwise the sites are very close together and the pool building is in bad shape, but the pool itself isn't bad.

If I had the option of rating this place a ZERO - I would. Never have I had such a poor experience in my travels. Don't waste your time or money staying here, and what ever you do, don't plan an event. The kitchen is not available because the resort owners don't want to have it inspected (I wonder what they are hiding?) and multiple safety violations of the premises are obvious.

There was an issue and we had to be moved to the front of the park, which we rolled with. But it is just a parking lot type spots, no fire pits even though it was rainy and cold. We were not told, nor was it on the website, but the pool and facilities were closed. All three of the families experienced water shutting off during showers (for just a couple min.) and very low water pressure.
