It’s a great store with excellent service. It’s kept very clean and well stocked with organized shelves and high quality products. If an associate can get you a deal with membership on an item, they will! Every time I’ve been in, the checkout staff was very helpful. When we are in a hurry they always get us in and out the door fast. Fantastic selection of health, beauty, snacks, and even a couple aisles of garden and miscellaneous items. This is my favorite drugstore in the Hoquiam-Aberdeen area. Highly recommend this location and their lovely employees. Their cleanliness during these times has been impeccable and the wonderful variety on the shelves keeps us coming back.

Good store, clean and well-organized. The bathrooms were good. Sales people seem to be busy enough, although it took a while for a second cashier to open- by then, line was down.We bought some heel protectors and insoles for our old hiking shoes. It definitely makes a big difference in your day when your feet are happy from the start..

Awesome place!!!..... but to many cranky customers. ALSO......Trish does not like doing her job in the Phamacy. She's incompetent and lazy. Go back To Aberdeen Riet Aid.

Poor customer service at pharmacy. Huy does not have customer skills and professionalism. Lacks the ability to aid customers and very rude. Not sure if this is RiteAid way or just the location. I will continue to goto Aberdeen. . Maybe someone will help fix the situation or corporate will see to make changes.

The overall store/pharmacy has excellent employees/service. I left Safeway because they kept forgetting to mail out my mother'sprescriptions (as if I was ordering a pizza or something)and I did not like standing in the meat department for 20 to 40minutes every time I picked up a prescription.. Rite aid has mailed all prescriptions as requested. I've had0problem since moving over in January. I have zero complaints.

Horrible experience so far, will be changing to another pharmacy. Prescriptions are rarley ever ready when I go to pick them up after doc sends them in. When I received a text about a script being available and that I can pick up before a specific date, I go in to pick up (within that time frame), and they had returned the script and so I had to return again the next day for it and wait 45 minutes in drive through. Always long and/or super slow lines. Staff have little customer service skills. Had issues with them not billing both our insurances and they are not helpful in any way.

Slowly getting back to "normal" since the pandemic and RX, staff shortage. Lines seem to be moving a bit faster these days. Our family was almost to the point of switching pharmacies after almost 6 years because of the over the top wait for meds, never being able to get thru on the phone, etc. Glad to see some improvement the past few months within the pharmacy specifically on Simpson. Also, the pharmacy techs @ both my local stores always maintain professional customer service under some pretty tough circumstances and do all they can to meet our needs between the two of them, when one is out of stock, etc. Keep it up ya'll & Thank you Rite Aid!

After six months of horrible service at the Riteaid Pharmacy on Wishka in Aberdeen, WA, but needing to go to a premium pharmacy with our new insurance, we reluctantly tried the Riteaid pharmacy on Simpson in Hoquiam and I couldn’t be happier or more surprised at the fast and excellent service that I received there today. I wish I had the name of the female pharmacist who helped me, but she provided me with more help than I ever expected. Thank you and I hope that this continues even month when I return with more prescriptions.

Store was much cleaner and organized than I have seen in the past.The staff seems to have a sterile sense about working there. It's like, "I have a job, but not really excited about being here or helping customers".I don't sense the "excitement" or "caring" that I see in many other businesses in Hoquim.

The pharmacy staff is awful, they’re horribly rude. Can’t be bothered to help you when the store is empty, treat you like an obvious convenience. They really couldn’t care less. There is one helpful pharmacy tech who looked embarrassed and helped me after the pharmacist walked away. This rite aid is always being blasted on the local Facebook pages for awful service.

The Hoquiam Wa Rite Aid is just about my favorite store. All personnel are helpful and friendly. I know the pharmacy ia extremely busy and we sometimes have to wait longer than we might like, but I think it is an issue everywhere. Pricing is acceptable and often better than our local Walmart.

Pharmacists are irritable and surly. Half the time they get your prescription wrong. I think they hate their jobs and take it out on the customers. Not once have I been greeted, or gotten a smile. Makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong, just showing up.

This should not even be 1 star. I have had nothing but issues with this Rite Aid. They do not fill your prescriptions in a timely manner At All. If there is an issue of any kind they just drop the ball and do nothing about it not even let the customer know there is an issue.The lines are 15 to 20 cars outside in line and about that in line inside the store. There are 2 drive through lanes but apparently one of them is for drop off Only and there is No sign saying this. They don’t even use it when they get backed up. I dropped off a prescription in that drive through yesterday no one in front of me but it still took 25 minutes to just drop off my prescriptions.We went there to get COVID shots (there was a sign saying no appointments needed )but when we asked the pharmacist they said it was by appointment Only…I have never been to a worse Rite Aid.It is a clean store but that is about it!!

Very friendly and helpful staff in pharmacy. They go out of their way to make sure you understand your scripts. When Swanson's pharmacy was bought out by Rite Aid, their was a lot of confusion with my scripts. Some of mine was dropped in the transferring and it was a big pain for me... The Rite Aid staff was so reassuring and caring, it made me cm down..

Very poor experience. No notification an hour after my prescription had been called in, so I called to check on it and they said it would still be another half hour. Also it turned out that they had a question that they hadn't bothered to call me about, so it was a good thing I called… When I got there, I ended up sitting in the drive-thru lane for half an hour. Just ridiculously slow. Then, on top of it, I had ordered some home covid tests because this is the closest place to the beach that has them. They were supposed to be ready by 4:30, and when I came to pick them up along with my prescription, which was basically 7 by the time I got to the window, she said they never showed up in the system somehow, and it would take an hour for her to get them together. Yes an hour to put a few tests in a bag. Absolutely ridiculous. The only reason I picked this pharmacy for my prescription was because they had the tests! Otherwise I would've gone to the local pharmacy! But this would've been a terrible experience regardless of how close or far I lived of course. Absolutely horrible. We really need a CVS or Walgreens here because this is just unacceptable on so many levels.

Definitely would not recommend. Totally understand being short staffed, but the customer service is terrible and wait times are out of control, even when you call and confirm the time a prescription will be ready.

Two days in a row I have waited over an hour to pick up prescriptions. Ridiculous. Lots of apologies. No action. No change. When you come to pharmacy be ready to wait and wait and wait. We are going to change pharmacies and have been Rite Aid customers for years. PS. Please don’t tell me to call-no one ever answers the phone ! I understand being understaffed. Work to address the problem.

If it were only possible to give -5!Today is the 14th and 315pm. I have been waiting for a prescription that was due on the 12th. When I hadnt been notified on the 12th I called around 4pm and was told they were backed up and wouldn't get to it until the next day. I was not shocked as this place has been at least a 8 to 12 hours behind and expect to stand in line for hours with maybe 3 people in front of you. So my partner went out on the 13th (as I was unable to since out of my medication) she drove from Ocean Shores to Hoquiam a 45 min drive at 330 pm. They still didnt have it done. She was told an hours or so and they would have it finished up. She waited 2 hours and it wasn't done. She left and I waited another 24 hours without my medication. I just called them and was told surprise maybe an hour and we will finish it up. I attempted to tell her we were coming from Ocean Shores and this would be trip #2 just for my medication and I have been waiting for 2 1/2 days. She then told me VERY RUDELY that "they have been trying but they were closes for 2 day the week before and me and everyone else keeps piling in on them" she then hung up on me. I understand they were closed last week. But what about the last 3 months. They are always extremely far behind and never say anything nicely when asked. This is the only pharmacy I can get my prescription from as the pharmacy in Ocean Shores cant. I wish I could go anywhere else. If you can go anywhere else please do as this store is extremely unpleasant unprofessional unpredictable and unreliable!

By reading all the reviews, the issues with the pharmacy has been on going. Twice I have had to come back to get a complete 30 day (took 2-3 trips to the pharmacy to get a complete 30 day supply) supply of my diabetic medication. They have issues making sure this medication is in their pharmacy. For a year they have been taking over 4 days to get medication bottled and to the customers and that is after the customer comes in and complains until their medication is filled. Why should anyone have to struggle to get their needed medication. The only people that suffer is the customers needing their medications. Fix your issues now.

Terrible customer service. They don't respect covid vaccination appointments that you make online. When you arrive at your scheduled time the pharmacy staff is too busy filling prescriptions keeping their heads down and ignoring you. One lady before me had been waiting 30 minutes past her scheduled appointment. When I mentioned this to one of the pharmacy staff they were rude and made excuses. Why make an appointment if it is just going to be ignored? Management needs to address this issue.

That company should be ashamed. My sister had to wait 2 days to get her pain medication. They said it was because of being too busy. If that's the case, hire more help. The month before, she had to wait all day for her medicine. Well, she is no longer going there and she has been going there for 11 plus years. Give me the smaller Pharmacy any day.

This Rite Aid store is great. I very much enjoy this store. I live about 30 miles away. Each time I go to Aberdeen I always go to the Rite Aid store by the Grocery Outlet store.

Staff friendly, however due to medication availability this Rite Aid was unable to fill 2 of 3 prescriptions. (one was quoted as 3-4 weeks wait)

Takes an incredible amount of time to get a script filled. Called in refill at 11:00am. Was told script would be ready at 3:30pm. When I showed up to pick it up was told it would be an another hour in a very rude manor. Can literally walk in with a script at Value Drug in Monte an leave with it ten min later.

If I could give this place a negative star's I would ...... It would be a negative ten stars . Won't even answer the phone. Called twenty times in last month, multiple times I have had prescriptions sent there of a medication I can not go without and it's taken almost a week after it was sent . If they can't handle the volume of business then just tell doctors that they can't fill or handle the volume of business .

They are not doing their jobs at this place. Long lines to wait to talk to someone, and when you try calling to talk to them, it just rings and or have to go through their recordings hoping to talk to them! Me and my husband have gone without our medications for over a week or more! Most of the medication we can't go without or it causes a medical problem where we end up having to be taken to the hospital. This is very irritating!

For the third time I had called to have one pharmacy item put with my prescription to pick up in the drive thru. For the 3rd time it wasn't there. Now I have to make a special trip to it and I really needed it tonight. Why do they offer to do this if they aren't going to do it? My special trip to get this won't be to rite aid. The most irresponsible pharm techs. Ill be looking for another pharmacy because of this staff.

I telephoned the pharmacy to verify that my husband's post ER medications were prepared before driving an hour into Hoquiam at 7pm; they hung up on me four times. Well, so much for my husband's much needed medication. We've been doing business here for five years... no more.

Horrible excuse for customer service in The drive thru!! Every time I go through there. It's grumpy old ladies who hate their job, they are very unprofessional and intidaled. Next time, I'll get their names when i pick up meds next after my once again, bad experience.

This place is horrible for prescriptions, luckily for them, options are very limited in this whole county. They can't get prescriptions filled in time, they can't pick up the phones, probably cause they know it's just another person calling to complain about their prescription.
