The staff are super friendly and helpful. They generally have enough groceries to keep me going in a pinch, and they also have a fast food area (although I haven't tried anything from it yet). They also have a table and an arcade machine in case you need to wait for something or take a rest. My only real complaint is that their not open more.

What an improvement over the old store. I haven't been there in almost 2 years. Just had their smash burger and chili cheese fries, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and great prices. Friendly atmosphere and definitely an asset to the community

First time in Hoquim. Looking for a breakfast place, we passed 3 maybe 4 places, and pulled in front of rays. 🤔. We went inside and were greeted by brothers that made us feel like we were born and raised together. My breakfast bowl went above all expectations. My wife and I agreed that of all the places we have traveled, this has been our best experience with breakfast in years.

The new owner of this place (its now called Rays Place and just opened a few days ago) is super nice and excited about fixing up this little market! They are open for shoppers but still finishing some things, soon will even have a kitchen/grill area.We stopped by for a coffee and breakfast sandwich, the breakfast sandwiches were good but on a hamburger bun which was a little unexpected.They are still working on getting all stocked up, and are asking for recommendations for what people want in a 'convenience' store.We are very excited to have this place close by to pick up things without having to go all the way into town - especially since it is clean, spacious and has a local upscale vibe.They also had a grab bag for beer, which I thought was super fun and I was inclined to buy if it wasnt 7:30 in the morning when we were there.Totally worth checking out!

Good food, great people, kid friendly, very family oriented. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches and the pulled pork sandwiches. Tacos??? Steak and chicken tacos are my favorite. Don't forget the horchata. Its so amazing it's almost authentic

This place sucks. I ordered one of their hot dogs. I got no sour cream, which I paid for. I got no grilled onions, which I paid for. The cheese I got, which I paid for, was very little. Then, when I came back to get, what I asked for, they called the police. After, I tried to show what they had missed. Instead of correcting their wrong, they call the cops. I would not recommend this place.

I wish I could give them 10 stars not only do they have amazing food and prices but the customer service is also above and beyond. And the little store has so much charm and options it's hands down my favorite place in hoquiam.

Went in their today, and for some reason, they didn't want to cook my food after taking my order. I didn't leave a tip. So they just didn't Cook my order, then wouldn't give me a refund. Just a heads up. Not sure what the issue is, but I won't ever be back....

Best Smash burgers around. Grilled onions with oozing cheese. Great grilled dogs, Homemade fries. Like going to the fair bust just down the street. Doing Mexi-Cali on the weekends lately. Breakfast all day on Sundays!

Edit:....We went back for breakfast. I got the big French toast breakfast and my man got the steak bowl. The French toast was burnt yet somehow still raw in the middle (he didn't oil the grill AT ALL SO EVERYTHING GOT BURNED TO IT AND STUCK)the eggs were burnt and the hash brown was cold(he cooked it first and it sat above the fryer for the 45mins to and hour it took him to cook our food.) The steak bowl was ok. Not much to say about it. There wasn't much for eggs in it because there was about 2 pounds of steak and veggies and he poured 2 tablespoons of eggs on the pile. I can tell he hasn't worked a grill much in his life(maybe a friend of the owner who took over for the real cook?) Idk. The prep guy was touching his face and wiping his nose then cutting veg. I tried lunch and breakfast. Not too impressive. We decided we won't be going back, nor would I recommend my family to go. We had high hopes. :( this put it from two stars to one.(Everything in the mini Mart/store is from Costco or WinCo for triple/quadruple the price.)Patty was thick, didn't have much flavor. For being a $11 meal I was left yearning for more. No seasoning. Definitely not smashed. $40 could have been spent somewhere else. Great customer service, burgers are lacking A LOT.

You ever walk into a store and feel like you're both home and surrounded by community members that care? I haven't until EXPERIENCING Rays! Unbeatable prices, atmosphere, costumer service, old and yet updated feel. My God. It is such a treat knowing I'll dash past every 7/11 and Swanson's to go to this beautiful serene environment.

Just learned of this place yesterday, so today we decided to get 3 smash burgers, 1 with everything and 3 orders of fries for dinner. Omg it was so good. We've been sitting here for 10 mins talking about how good the food is! Next we plan to try the breakfast menu and the chicken sandwiches. And to feed 3 grown people for $30, now that's amazing! The people there are super nice as well. We are really excited to have them in the area, I feel they will be a very welcome addition.

The food is fantastic and the staff were so nice and friendly! We ordered lunch for some guys at work and it was very well priced. They have done so much work to that place. It is very clean and inviting.

Ordered the chili nachos and their special, the chicken chili wrap. The nachos were delicious because nachos but this wrap was phenomenal, packed with chicken and onions and a sweet chili sauce. Great prices too!

I have never found a store with better people and staff. I did retail work and kitchens for 13 years and I’ve never went to a store like this. The staff have helped me in unfortunate circumstances in my life and I cannot give the praise into words for these folks. Every time I walk in I’m greeted with smiles and welcome inns and I’m always in great convo with the staff and always leave feeling better than I did walking in. Bravo folks

I stopped in yesterday & there were 2 gentleman working both of which were very welcoming.As I drove up, I didn’t even recognize the place due to some exterior renovations, improvements.Looking forward to seeing additional changes with more food options.You rock, Ray!

Shhh! The best kept secret in Hoquiam. Awesome little neighborhood store with a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It is very clean and organized. You can buy anything from wine to toys for your 🐶 The best part is the fresh food off of the grill for breakfast and lunch! Keep up the great work Ray & team!!👏
