We're able to reserve a spot over the phone last minute for that evening. Nice spot by the river. Full hookup for a very reasonable price. Bathroom, shower and coin laundry facilities. Friendly owners and staff. Fresh chocolate cake. Quiet neighborsSafety: Nice enclosed quiet RV park

The stars are for the very friendly managers who were very welcoming and friendly and for the cute flowers in the picnic tables. However, we had a supposed great site, facing the river. We didn't. That sight was blocked by 4 tents and group vehicles and people camped directly in front of us, blocking our river views as well as the view deck that is suppose to be for the park campers. They took over that deck. Where they were at camped isn't even a designated camp spot. Perhaps they're family of the managers?I even called the night before our reservation to see if we could cancel our one night reservation and I was told that we'd forfeit our space rent. She also said we were being given one is the best sites in the park and we wouldn't want to miss the great views.Well, it certainly wasn't great views! We didn't even want to walk out there to see the river because we felt like we were intruding on all of them.

We had a wonderful stay at Hoquiam River RV Park. We arrived at a Friday and was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. Your packed in pretty tight, but luckily that wasn't a problem. The sites are maintained well with hookups. The bathroom is large and very clean. The service was also very nice, very accommodating and we even got some fresh cookies!

Super friendly staff and great neighbors. We stayed for 3 days in the short term pull through spots and enjoyed our stay. My only gripe is the sewer hookup. Our sewer valve is at the rear of our trailer and the sewer connection for the site, site 10, is set fairly far forward of the site so we didn't connect while we were here, instead the day we left we pulled forward in our site and dumped when we were within reach of the connection. We could have pulled far enough forward and disconnected our truck but we like staying connected for short stays. Definitely not a big deal and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Really loved staying at the RV Park looking out over the river. One thing I loved was they give you free firewood to burn and beautiful walking trail along the river. Restrooms and shower were very clean laundry room. everything was in well working condition always had toilet paper. They also give you a cable box to have nice cable TV. They also provide doggy bags to pick up after your doggy after you walk it down the trail.

Very nice RV park. Nice, clean bathrooms and showers (we know how hard it can be to find those). We had a long day of traveling and got in late but they were very accommodating and had no issue with us showing up around 9:30 pm. We were even escorted to our spot so we had no issues finding it in the dark. Make sure to stop and stay at this delightful location.

On very short term notice (we called about an hour before we showed up after finding the place online) the owners were very accommodating and found us the perfect spot with a view! This is a very clean and safe feeling little park. The River views are stunning and there’s even a trail so you can bring your dog to enjoy the view as you walk the trail. The bathrooms are clean, hook ups very accessible and the owner escorted us personally to our spot and helped us back in and line up the hook ups!If I ever come through with a big rig again I will be back!

This RV park was a disappointment. The pictures show the river and lots of grass. That is true along the river, but most of the park is dusty gravel that covers your car and rig with a fine dust. The hook-ups work fine. Getting Internet was very difficult: Verizon wouldn't work here (just barely could make a call using weboost). The park has multiple networks, but they are all utterly useless, even for email. Starlink would work as there are few trees between sites. The park is full of mostly permanent residents some of whom walked through our site and over our rug a number of times (on foot and on bike, adults and children). Hoquiam is not much of a town. You have to drive to Aberdeen for restaurants and groceries (Safeway, Starbucks, etc..). We would not return here.

Great clean area, kind and friendly staff. Great little area for tents down by the down the river.Would recommend to others , also the cookies were great. Free firewood, (we didn't get a chance to light one !)$30/tent was just a bit steep, only issue I could comment unfavorablably on...Thanks again for the hospitality and friendly service.

There's everything great about this RV park - great spacing between campers, extremely clean, good location and the most caring hosts we've ever had. Faye graciously straightened out our reservation which we mistakenly placed on the wrong dates. Denise greeted us with a whole hearted welcome and provides fresh baked goodies just to make campers"feel at home" and Gordon helped us get to our site and made sure we had everything we needed. The park is located right by the river in a beautiful setting and even has its own rain forest trails past the old railroad and barge stop - the trail created and perfectly maintained by Tim the Trailmaster. The park has cable, laundry and is big rig friendly. We highly recommend this park and will definitely camp here again when in this area.

The RV park is basically just a gravel lot with RV sites packed in with small strips of grass between. There are no trees in the park. However, the surrounding area is lovely, right next to the river. There is a walking path. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hanging shelves. The water pressure was medium to low and the non handicap shower dressing area was very small.

We stayed for 3 days Oct 2022. Initially we paid for 2 nights, but decided to stay an additional day. On the second night a medical event necessitated that we leave the following morning (Sunday) to make a doctor's visit on Monday. I contacted management well before checkout time and asked if a refund was possible--they said no, as the owners required at least 72 hours prior to any cancellation. Since we had already been there for 2 days, I thought this odd. To their credit, in other matters management and staff were courteous and helpful, and the grounds were well kept. I do feel however that a refund should have been issued, and management should have made some effort to contact the owners re same.Update: Owners agreed and issued a refund after reading review--now 4 stars, nice park.

The bathrooms are super clean. There are several WiFi interceptors, some have weak signals. Laundry had different prices on the machines. Staff are friendly.

Nice RV park right on the Hoquiam River with some great trails you can walk through. Easy access off 101 but make sure you watch for the RV park sign and don’t blindly follow your GPS..ours wanted us to turn a street early and it was super narrow so we kept going and saw the sign. You pass through a couple bridges in Aberdeen and Hoquiam but they are 14 ft or higher. The staff is super friendly, especially Gordon who took me out on his golf cart to make sure our rig would fit in the river front spot we wanted. Seemed like many people staying here are full time but everyone was friendly and we had a great time. Also just close enough to Olympic NP to make a day trip to see Hall of Mosses!

This is a well-maintained RV Park with picturesque landscape, hiking trails, nice clubhouse and courteous hosts and staff. The park is nestled between nature trails, a nice river, and a quiet neighborhood, so you get to experience nature without actually being out in the wild! There are 2 gas stations with convenience stores as well as a take-out restaurant about a mile away. I will be returning in a couple months. I’m sure if you visited you would have a positive experience.

Six stars if I could. Beautiful, quiet location next to a peaceful river. Set up nicely, easy to navigate, even while towing a vehicle. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, the toilets weren't cheapies, and the showers were some of them best I've ever used at a park/campground. Fantastic water pressure with removable shower heads! It appears the owner, staff, and permanent residents all take pride in where they live. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing time here! Everyone was wonderful, the place was very clean and warm! We had a trailer and tent site and both faced the river. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and up kept. And the ladies in the office are hands down warm and welcoming, with their cookies, carrot cake and advice! We will return!

The campsite is very nice and can only be recommended. The toilets are very nicely done and kept clean. But the best thing is the owner. She welcomed us really nicely and gave us all a home-baked biscuit. :)

We had a great stay at Hoquiam RV Park, everyone was so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Management, Gordon and Janiece (hope I spelled that right) for being so wonderful! And kudos to the "Trail Master" for the lovely riverside trails. It's a well maintained and clean park, great place to stay a day or a week! We highly recommend this park!

A Wonderful Experience! If you've been here, then you know everything I'm about to say. If you've never been here, then you really should visit. Customer service is friendly and they really know and emphasize good customer service. They're helpful, happy, and interested in your having everything you need. I can't say enough about the couple that owns this park. That right there is enough to make you want to stay here if needed, but the kicker is the beauty you're surrounded with the Hoquiam River and trails. We just didn't get enough time to enjoy everything we wanted to, so I'd recommend more than the overnight we enjoyed. It's a real gem tucked up against the river and I would highly recommend it for your travels in the northwest.

Beautiful restrooms, the best showers we experienced so far on our Trip (even in motels), free firewood and WiFi. However the owner is the best. Nicest Person on Earth, she gave us her homemade Cookies.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was AWESOME! The park is clean, well maintained and the staff was very helpful. I would have given this park a 10 star review, but 5 is all I can do. Being right next to the river, it's beautiful. There are flower baskets hanging from some of the trees, and many of the picnic tables have flower pots on them with potted plants which I enjoyed. If I ever come back this way, I will definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful place to camp. It's 20 miles to Westport and 20 miles to Ocean shores. The owners are wonderful people. They work very hard to keep the park looking good and have carved out wonderful hiking trails all around the property. The bathrooms and showers are clean and family friendly Enjoy!

We have been to a lot of RV campsites all over North America and it was such an utter delight to stumble into this gem on our way to Portland from Olympic National Park! The shower facilities were the best I’ve visited. Not only was it a treat to see clean sinks, countertops, and shower stalls but it was also a rare treat to be able to wiggle my toes in the clean shower floor without having to stay in my flip flops to avoid the dirt that is common in most camp showers! The trails nearby are beautiful and the campsite is run like a home because it is run with lots of care. Even the dump site and trash dumpster area was clean and without any odor! And as we were reluctantly leaving, Denise who runs the front desk comes out with two freshly baked blueberry muffins! I can’t tell you how so many of these little touches make all the difference and how much I missed being treated like a family member welcomed into a home like environment! Thank you guys for this gift of a place! We will be sure to schedule another visit next time we are in Oregon! You are truly a class act!
