Cute vibe, super friendly staff, great prices, and incredible food! Our meal was so good that my boyfriend and I couldn't even talk while we were eating (very abnormal for us). I got the Turkey Bacon sandwich on a gluten free bun and he got the Smokey Bear sandwich. We'll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: They were able to make my meal completely gluten free (subbed a gluten free bun on my sandwich and omitted a certain seasoning).

Looking for a "Home Town" burger joint with delicious food, the best ice cream and shakes, and seasoned fries?! You've just hit the jackpot! Generous portions! We just came across this place on a family camping trip... we already plan to stop again on the way home!!! Drive up window available... we ate inside, seating was limited, and we had no issue getting a seat, tho. Friendly staff and clean environment! Definitely check them out! The waffle fries were the best we've ever had!

This is ALWAYS a go-to stop! If you want one of the tastiest burgers and shakes, this is where you come. Everyone is always so friendly. They're a real asset to the community. When a burger joint can make even a plain old cheeseburger taste like a million bucks, you know they're good.Kid-friendliness: Picky kids are welcome here too. I do not have picky kids, but I'm always looking at the entire menu. There's a multitude of choices for the more finicky clients.

Highly recommend! 💯We moved to Hoquiam about 6 months ago now, and JUST tried The Grizzly Den for the first time, and we are so glad we did! They did NOT disappoint! No cons, only pros!!Very genuine friendly staff, each staff member I engaged with was very helpful. From the lady taking my order, to the gal cleaning up, to the lady making my shakes! Each of them were very customer focused and paid attention to detail.Even though 45m from closing, and they had starting cleaning up, they didn't rush us or make us feel like we were an inconvenience (as other businesses can)!They were quick, even brought a special treat out to the car for the pups!The shakes are made with REAL and yummy ingredients, as well as for their foo! You can taste the difference in their meats and veggies!We had waffle fries (perfect), a cheeseburger (perfect) and a turkey and bacon grilled sandwich on sourdough (amazingly delish and huge)!Thank you GrizzlyDen, you're got lifelong customers with us!

Food is excellent. Service is terrible. The staff were nice, friendly but our order took over an hour. It appears carry out orders took priority over seated customers. Waffle fries and milkshakes were excellent. But if you don’t have time to wait an hour for your food it’s a bummer.Vegetarian options: Garden burger was tasty.

You get a lot of food for the price you pay for. The prices are really not bad for fresh food. Everything is made to order. They also have a wonderful kid's menu. They do have a gluten free menu and it's out of this world. Their homemade fries were delicious. We had a big order. I ordered a strawberry milkshake with a mushroom burger and homemade fries they were out of this world. The staff was very friendly and kind, they kept up on our huge order. The establishment was clean and so was the restroom. There is covered outside sitting.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu. Which a lot of places do not have.Parking: We had a truck and trailer, motor home, truck, a suburban, plus 3 more cars and there was more room to park.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu, and are very friendly to kids.

Ordered a 1/4 pound cheeseburger that seemed like a half pound. They hand form their burgers right before your eyes and smash them down on the griddle. It was a thick juicy burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickle, onion, mayo, and special sauce. The burgers do not come with a side order of fries, and sides are ordered separately. We ordered garlic fries with parmesean which were more on the soft side but tasted good. The burger was also good and filling. It just needed a bit more seasoning for my taste. Overall a great place to stop on the way home from the beach.

First, looking at prior reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one who had this issue.Food should be fine. But ask how long it's going to take. Took over an hour to get our food. Multiple people after us got their food before us. Even when I asked about status of our food they said it was being cooked on the grill right then and the food still took a while longer (much, much longer than it takes to cook a burger). Oh to add, when I asked about status, they asked if they could take our order... ... At least be honest that you forgot about our order or dont care about serving customers in order. Over $50 for 2 burgers, 1 fries, and kids meal.

Local diner with solid burgers, good value, and family owned atmosphere. If you order a 1/4 lb burger, expect a 1/2 lb. If you order a 1/2 burger, expect something close to a lb. Massive portions are perfect after a long day of hiking or driving to get out to Hoquiam. Service is super friendly and accommodating. Nothing here will blow you away, but it is just simple food executed well.

I went through the drive through at this establishment , after ordering was ask to park around the side area , no problem .After setting there for about 8 minutes, another person came up to the drive through .Placed their order, after about 17 minutes after they ordered there food was handed out the window to them . And from the size of the bag , it was comparable in size to my own .At this point we had now been waiting 28 minutes ish .I sat in my car for an additional 10 minutes before i had ENOUGH , and went in .When i was addressed by an employee and ask what I needed , as i am telling her the phone rings and i am shined on till after the call .Then after being asked what my order was and explain that , and what the name was on it ,come to find out They hadn’t even started it yet. They were just now starting to work on it she said . By the time we got our food it had been 43 minutes.I don’t know if the people that came after us were their buddies or not but as far as wanting a person to come back to the restaurant, it was highly unethical and completely rude for our order to be pushed back ahead of other people who ordered after .I usually don’t write negative reviews on home town mom and pop restaurants or establishments because I believe in local ownership places to do my business with .I appreciate the young man’s apology for having taken so long, for the record young man it wouldn’t have taken so long if you had done the order when it was up and not done somebody else’s that ordered after first, unfortunately apology not accepted .

After an afternoon of beach time we were very disappointed with the options in Ocean Shores so we decided to find a better place in town. Well what an amazing gem we found! The quality of the burgers was better than any restaurant I've eaten at. In the five years living in Washington I've not found a place that is this level of quality.The scale they use must be broken because those 1/4lb patties were more like 1/2 lbs, maybe 1/3. The meat is never frozen and it shows. Garlic fries were amazing and hd SO much flavorings, they did it skimp.If we are ever in the area again we will be back!Oh and our wait was 35 mins and it was WORTH every minute!!

I just finished a multi day hike in the Olympics and I was craving a burger and shake. This place closed 2 min after I got there and they said I could still order. Then they said I could dine in while they were closing up. Every single staff member came to say hi to me and ask about the food. The bathroom was spotless and my burger was perfect. I’ll be stopping here again and if you’re looking for a burger you’ve found your place.

This place is great. I'm always looking for a giant burger while I'm out and about, and this place really delivered. I decided on the Big Daddy Burger and it actually filled me up, not an easy feat. I had to use a fork to demolish this monster! All the fixins were fresh, and those three hand pressed patties were seasoned perfectly. The garlicky fries with parmesan were on point, too. It was a bit of a wait from the time we ordered to the time we got our food, but they were clear about that when we ordered. This is a great little family owned and operated business, and I will be back. Maybe I'll get the big daddy with an extra patty, I don't know. Great job, Grizzly den staff. See you all later!

The food here was excellent and the weather was beautiful, so we ate outside in the back. This diner is just out front of a large cropping of trees. I got to try a little bit of everything cause my family likes to share. We had shakes, onion rings, fries, burgers, and I got the Smokey Bear. Check it out folks. This place also offers a military discount and I think one for first responders also. The bathrooms are Porta-Johns so go before you get there or brave the portable toilets. We were there in the area visiting. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We highly recommend it.

This is still my favorite burger, (and much more), joint in Aberdeen/Hoquiam. Big portions, I am partial to the Grizzly, eat half, enjoy every bite and share with my dog, I haven't had the milkshakes, but my wife raves about them. Clean, you can watch the kitchen work. About a year or so ago, they added a roofed in set of outdoor tables that are perfect for mild winter rainy days. Since they are popular they are slow, most people order by phone and do take out. A little out of the way if you are a visitor headed for the beaches, but worth the detour.

My burger was pretty good ( cheese burger) the home fries where delicious!!!!. Customer service was awesome. They are very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing was I got an allergic reaction to something I ate ( I'm allergic to fish...so.... Not sure what happened there... Thank God for Benadryl) but over all good place to stop and eat.
