My fiance brought me here and I'm so happy he did! The lake was so breath taking. The views, the mountains surrounding us was such a sight. We did the hike along the lake which was easy and had so many beautiful lookout views. The lake was full of families swimming. Definitely recommend visiting. You do have to pay to enter, discover pass dose not work here.

I used to camp here when I was younger, and the place is much cleaner than it used to be, with a nice shower. there's only one so its a bit of a wait, but after being in the dirt, and cold lake, the nice warm shower is a treat. They included an extra car in the space rent, and the bathrooms were clean. My only warning is the lake shore is very rocky so be careful, and wear water shoes.

Cannot believe I did not know how beautiful this place was... I've lived here for over 20 years and was in absolute awe of the scenery. Took my 4 daughters and my husband on an "adventure" where we swam, floated and had a great time exploring the park. The staff were helpful and courteous. We are absolutely coming back a couple times this summer to explore more of the lake. They also have kayak and paddleboard rental which I thought was pretty cool. Best time I've had in a long time ❤️

Accidentally happened upon this Lake and was probably surprised at how beautiful it was or is.... was told the campground is already booked all of July and August that it's best to get a campsite up to a year in advance. We would definitely love to go there again although the campsites did seem a little pricey at 45 to $55 a site. And it was a little disappointing to have to pay the full $20 for a day pass knowing we would only be there an hour. But would highly recommend going to this place it's extremely beautiful and very quietNoteworthy details: For anybody that's a rockhound we found some of the most amazing rocks and minerals in this Lake. Found a lot of Moss agate. some very large pieces alsoPlayground: Came across at least three very nice children's playgrounds was actually kind of surprised at how nice they lookedDog-friendliness: Seems like there were several dog friendly parks and we did see several dogs seems like a great place to have a dog running around..Picnic area: Definitely several picnic areas along the drive the ones that we seen looked nice and clean with amazing view of lake.

Went for the day use area, not camping. Day use cost $20 (cash only). Seems pricey, as you can get access to the lake in many other areas for no fee. However one advantage of this area is flushing toilets and picnic tables and small BBQ grills, plus a nice small area to access the lake for wading. Also parking was available, which may be hard to find in some of the free areas. Overall, we did have a nice picnic with plenty of shade.

We took our boat out on a cloudy weekday to avoid crowds. It was super peaceful. It was $20 for the day/boat launch included. There is a massive parking lot for trucks & trailers. So much space for the boat launch area!

Well-kept park, they charged a $20 fee day use per car, since it is private-owned, not a state park covered by the Discovery park. There are several picnic tables, some covered by trees some other nearby the water. Restrooms are clean and plenty. You can rent some games like 4 in a row or beanbag at the entrance ($5 for 3 hours) and buy many other things like sunblock, ice, etc. There was a security guy always around. The trail is nice and has some hints for kiddos to find 10 face on the trees, very fun activity.Parking space is not that big, we arrived at 11:30 am and there were a few people, by 1 pm it was already packed. You have to walk about 5 min from parking to picnic area.

Didn’t even make it into the rec area. We were passing through the area coming home from a camping trip at 3:45pm on a weekday. When we approached the station we asked if there were any military discounts, which we were happy to hear that there was (for active duty or disabled vets) until they said it would be $18 with the discount. I asked the lady working since it was so late in the day, and all we really wanted to do was peek in at the lake to see if it would be a good Rec area for us to come back to, possibly camp etc in the future and that we were on our way home from another camping trip, and to also nurse our baby real quick. We were not planning to use the facilities, just look around and nurse our infant who was crying in the back seat. Had the fee been $5-10, I could justify that a little more easily to simply just look around and spend 30 minutes. But $18?!? The lady said we could take 10 minutes to look and that was it. I told her I couldn’t finish nursing in 10 minutes and that we would just leave without seeing the place as it was urgent that I find a place I could safely get off the road and nurse. Pretty surprised at the poor customer service and the steep prices they are asking before you’re even allowed in to see the place…

We have been coming here with our puppies for 13.5 years. It is so wonderful and the staff is great! It just keeps getting better! Now we pay a $20 fee stay for about 2 hours drive 2 hours to home and would do it everyday if we could! The pups come home tired but happy, stronger and full of life. My husband and I get great joy in providing this for them in their senior years! The park is always clean maintained well and monitored often and that gives us a feeling of safety. It is a great place for families off the grid, enjoying fun, conversation and calm. It is so beautiful and peaceful.A great place to breath deep and be refreshed!!!

Rating is based solely on swimming/day use area. Clean area, garbage cans for trash and clean bathrooms. Area has a steep fee to get in, $20 for a day pass. However, the fee clearly keeps the area from getting absolutely packed like other local swimming holes. There were quite a few people, but I could tell many of them were local campers. The area for day use is HUGE, so I can imagine it getting even busier then when I went and still having plenty of space for fun. Four stars because parking was bad, not enough parking. I thankfully got a spot, but we still had to walk far. Breathtaking views! We went on a weekend where there was wildfire smoke, but the scenery was still incredible.

Lake Cushman is beautiful, clean, clear water. This location is a great place to park and walk to the waterfront. Plenty of space, either next to the water on the "Beach" or shaded in the trees with a great view. There is also a wicked sweet rope swing. Get there early, parking fills fast on hot days.

Awesome campground. Great trails. A pretty good beach for a lake with steep sides. Lots of space between campsites, so you get nature and privacy. Good for paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking.

The campground is nice. On busy summer days there is a line of cars and campers at least a half an hour long to get into the park. Whether you have reservations or not it's one vehicle through at a time. There's a lot of people coming in to enjoy the lake not just camp.

Great camping spot. Beautiful views, lots of trees, quiet, bathrooms. Marking down since showers are coin operated, you have to stop at the front desk every time you enter, and the bathroom stalls are incredibly narrow.Restrooms: Has restrooms, very small space to stand to open/close doors. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly. Picnic area: Lots of places for a picnic and campgrounds have tables

Absolutely the BEST RV Camp we have ever been to!!!Clean, well maintained, serene location that has access to the lake, the beach and the boat launch all in one place! The sites are surrounded by trees that give you just enough privacy from the neighbors, and you are not wall to wall or shoulder to shoulder with them. We are definitely going back and already planning our next trip!

The camping ground itself is nice! So much fun with the kids, and they have showers!! However the information for pricing is wrong on the website and when trying to get information from staff members they all have different answers. Makes it hard to properly plan your stay.

Great campground with a small store that has everything you may have forgotten to bring. My 3 boys had a fun time. They rode their bikes, swam in the lake, and explored in nature.

Was there from 7-6-22 to 7-8. Park was great, manger was a delight to talk to. Our rv spot was clean and looked great. Rv spaces are close together but ya don’t feel crowded in. Does get kinda noisy at times due to little kids but that is to be expected. Not a deal breaker. Will stay again when back up this way.

Camping with extra Charm… beautiful area, great little hikes around the lake. The swim area is great to float around and enjoy the sun. Very peaceful! The staff does a great job maintaining the park and making it the perfect retreat! First time camping here & we already look forward to coming back!

Honestly, my favorite place to go camping or even just spend the day-in Washington! The water is so clear and beautiful & the campgrounds are clean and roomy. The front desk is always attentive and helpful. There’s beautiful scenery and so much to do! When I came with my friends, it was our first time ever camping as a group. There was a burn ban in place, when we got here it started to rain, we forgot a ton of things yet it was still the most amazing first trip I could’ve experienced. Truly my favorite place! I wish there was more availability but it’s expected to be packed because of how great it is!

Great lake had lots of fun with family and friends. Staff was very nice but they don't know much about the areas around. It did get a little crowded by noon so plan on getting there early to get a spot in the shade. Not very much parking either as the parking lot is small. The landscape is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. Boat launch is also available. A day pass for vehicles is $10.00 and it covers boat launch. A must go for anyone looking to have a great time with family and friends.

Great campground and larger site so your not on top of others. Restrooms are way outdated and in need of a complete remodel. And the park needs another restroom with showers. Fantastic staff in their office and our lady help me get in my space early. This is a beautiful forested and gorgeous setting on Crescent lake. We will definitely return soon since it’s close to our house!! Did I say Beautiful??

This park is nice and well kept! A great place for a lake day with the family! The swimming area has plenty of shallows for littles to splash around. Lake Cushman is super clean and refreshing! The only down side is being close to other groups of folks, with different tastes in music, as well as people smoking near others. There is a $10 day use fee, and a 100 yard walk from your car to the swimming/picnic area.

Absolutely gorgeous area! Surrounded by evergreens, the water is crystal clear and bright blue, and the campgrounds are well taken care of. There's a day use area, but it's not very big, and it gets crowded in the afternoon. Has bathrooms with showers not too far away from any site, and they offer rentals for paddleboards/kayaks/etc... Be sure to book well in advance, reservations fill up fast!

Awesome campground in the Olympic national forest. They have a concrete boat launch with 3 lanes, but no dock. There's a huge beach for swimming and hanging out at. Plenty of tent and rv sites with stunning views. The fishing is pretty decent if you can get out and troll. Another good thing about being up here is the lack of cell service, it's absolutely perfect.
