My partner & I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Jamie, the owner is cut out for this, with great customer service, & accomodations. She stayed in communication to ensure all was well while planning. The bed & pillows were the most comfortable thing you could ask for to unwind & relax. We celebrated our 3 yr anniversary here & can't wait to come back, with friends & family for a trip. We loved all of the extra blankets to sit outside & stay warm. We had a perfect view of the full moon & lake. Oh & the games & cards she had were such a great idea to have available! 10/10 🙌🏾 !!Food & drinks: HamaHama is a family run oyster farm, that requires reservations. It's outstanding!

We loved our stay at the Moonlight Resort. It was super clean and comfortable and a remarkably well appointed kitchenette for the size. Great shower too! On 101 it was easy to head to town, the woods and the shore. Jamie was so nice and ready to share information on the local area. There was a fire ban but we still enjoyed eating our meal at the patio tables. The chairs outside each room are super comfy too! Despite the 101 traffic during the day, it tapers off and we found it quiet in the evening. Highly recommend for a stay on the Hood Canal. Jamie has a terrific place and is a great host!

It is a cute little property close to waterfront. Rooms are very clean, beautifully maintained, and just has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Warm, nice shower, clean sheets, smart tv a d smart lamp!Jamie, the owner, is a great host. She can guide you on local things like places to eat, swim, hike. Lawn games for guests - we played corn hole. Electric outdoor fireplace was a nice touch, and she has blankets for use.Highly recommended if you are visiting the Hood Canal.

What a cozy and relaxing room! Very spacious and clean, and such a comfortable bed. Lots of thoughtful little touches, like blankets to use outside, a few puzzles/games (including cornhole and giant jenga!), even washcloths for makeup removal. Sophisticated and charming decor, you can feel the personal touch that has gone into this place. I loved all the plants on the patio!The stove was out of order, but in its place was a fancy toaster oven and a hot plate, so we would have been all set to cook if we had had the time. Which is definitely a nice option, considering the limited dining options in the area (the only drawback). Who has time to eat when you are out exploring the endless sights and activities all around the area! Great location for access to so many Olympic Peninsula attractions.

We were caught in a snowstorm last night and trees were falling on the road and so we turned around and found this place. Very clean and nice room but the heat wasn’t turned on until we got there and so it was cold, turned on the heat to warm up then weather took the power out so got wood from owner wood was so wet that took my husband most of night to get fire going and had to sleep on the floor and very small couch by fire to stay warm. Thank goodness for extra blankets. But it would have been a great place had we had heat. Owner was awesome. We would stay there again very cozy place. Would recommend friends and family.

We were totally satisfied with our treatment and the accommodations. We traveled for seven hours to visit family, but there were no facilities to stay at their place. We stopped by on our way in and met one of the owners. She was very friendly and helpful. We went on to see our family without seeing in the room due to time constraints. We returned to a warm room, a smart TV and a very comfortable bed. We were also surprised that they had a basket of things for our dog! We didn't need to use any of those supplies, but still, how thoughtful! We will definitely book a room here again the next time we visit family on the peninsula.

The room was small, and in need of updating. The cooking amenities consisted of a small microwave oven and a small refrigerator. The beds were clean and the TV worked well, but no hair dryer! We had to drive 15 miles to a Walmart to purchase one (it was not listed as available in the amenities). The noise from the highway, which is about 100 feet away, kept us awake at night. Overall, I would not recommend

My family and I love to fish! We decided to make a last minute trip and found this cute little hotel. We were offered a cute little Gypsy cabin that was super basic and inviting! Really relaxing with the simplicity to room! Only thing is a small half a minute walk to the rest room since the cabin has no water inside. The bathroom was extremely clean and quiet big! Definitely worth the little walk. We had access to a fire pit outside where the staff provided the firewood as part of the stay! It was a great little getaway and can’t wait to make another trip to stay there!! We even got a chest full of fish!! Thank you to your amazing staff and all the help they provided!! Keep up the great work!

One of the most charming and quaintest places to stay and hood sport. We stayed here before it became the moonlight the new owners have done a wonderful job sprucing up the place. It's conveniently located to the tides restaurant next door which has an excellent oyster omelet. If you're looking for a Marriott or Hilton this destination city is not that type of place.

Horrible place to stay! Very old with strong musty smell and no air-conditioning. TV did not work, refrigerator leaking water, coffee pot broken. You could hear rats/mice moving around above the ceiling in the attic space late at night – their nails scratched on the attic flooring. Owner/Staff is intrusive, unprofessional, argumentative. Life is too short, folks! Next time we will go back to the Sunrise Resort and Motel located in the town of Hoodsport. It is right on the water with great prices.

My wife and I booked the cabin for a night away from the city. The cabin was amazing! The decor was beautiful and simple. Making it so relaxing! The cabin is super simple, but came with a microwave and a little fridge! The cabin sat kind of back away from everything, with a huge yard area that had a fire pit, allowing us to enjoy the night sky with a little fire! The next morning we were able to view one of the rooms from the front of the property. That is next for our soon return visit! The room had a small kitchen area with a wood burning fireplace!!! The staff were above and beyond amazing to make sure we had all we needed and felt at home. We can’t wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!!

My family and I stayed the night here after a long road trip. We were able to purchase groceries not far from the hotel room and prepare our own foods, rather than have to eat fast food again! The wood burning fireplace inside the room just made the stay feel like home. Never have we felt so at home away from home! The staff were so helpful with answering questions about the local things to do. We were able to drive a short distance to a dock that we were able to fish from. Had our room not been reserved already for another family, we would have stayed a second night just to enjoy the hospitality of the area and the staff! Royce and staff made us feel right at home! Can’t wait for our next long trip to enjoy another amazing visit to Creekside!! Highly recommend 💗💗💗

This place is cute and CLEAN. I was a little worries about the bathroom upon first glance, but the everything worked and I repeat everything was CLEAN. Had a nice hot shower and a good night rest. Only downside is not every room has access to a stove but a microwave and fridge is provided so it worked out. I definitely would stay again.

Charmingly decorated clean room with 2 beds, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, utensils, TV, and board games. The grounds are pretty with nice views. The owner said it would be okay to bring my little smokey joe and I found a nice spot to bbq. The walls were thick making the room quiet. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby and we enjoyed hiking in the Olympic National Forest. It's easy to find just off of 101 across the road from the Hood Canal. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfect little cozy Motel with a view of Hood Canal and a nice outdoor sitting area with fire pit and plenty of wood.Wendy the owner went above and beyond to make our family get together perfect. Beds are comfortable,kitchens are well stocked with everything you need to make a meal and bath towels are soft! Perfect place for our family to meet.We had 3 of the four rooms and they were all clean and comfortable.

Comfortable and cozy. I suggest getting room #4. I slept on the pull out couch in front of the fire place. The tub is deep and amazing. I had a great bath and was able to relax. It is the size of a one bedroom apartment. The owner is so nice, she took good care of my needs. I will definitely return.

This place is so cute and cozy!! It's a small rustic motor inn that offers a very comfortable old fashioned feeling whether you stay one night or for a week. There is a small fire pit out front that is great for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows or just hanging out and enjoying the fresh air. I wouldn't want anything more for a wonderful weekend getaway.

For a last minute booking, it was good to be able to find the right location we were looking for. However, since I booked through Southwest Airlines, I was informed that I would not be charged until I arrived. When notified of the charge by the owner, due to covid contactless check in which is a great feature, I requested a change of cards for payment, which was denied to me. In the customer service industry myself, I know what it takes to credit and recharge a different cc. This is a simple task. I found the denial to be a bummer that such a simple thing could not be accommodated. There was no room for consideration of my request. It’s the simple things that make a place great and worthy of a recommendation or return visit. The room itself could of withstood a deeper clean for the price. Cobwebs and dust. I would more expect that out of an $89/night or less rather than a $120/night place. Please consider not using the overpowering air freshener. We had to put it outside. Beds were comfy. The kitchen setup made it easy to hunker in for the night after a long drive with a sink, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave.

I stayed here about 2 wks ago, arrived in the evening and was exhausted and had trouble working the door. The staff was amazing and super helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodations were adorable and cozy, it felt like I was staying in a home rather than a motel. I will definitely be back as soon as possible. My experience was so good I even left a handwritten thank you note!

We loved this place, the owner was very friendly. We were looking for something different, the room was very clean and comfortable. This is a motel and it has not been renovated, I am guessing it was built at least 40 years ago. That gave it such charm? The the landscape in the front is very beautiful, the owner told us to take our dog out to see the area behind the rooms, he said if he does not run away, let him him off his leash and walk back along the creek. We found a ravine back there, that is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. I have been to every state in America including Hawaii and Alaska, the exceptions would be Montana, Florida and South Carolina. I am not making this up, that alone was wort the stay for me.David and Donna Watson

Poor poor management skills!! Poor employee skills!! Made reservations a month in advance for a wedding party. Explained it very thourly many times by three different people the importance of that weekend. Barely got checked in and asked for towels then was informed that we only got booked for one night. They said all they can do is offer a gypsy trailer with no running water and a fifth wheel trailer. That wouldn't fit all of us. Even tried to pay for another day. They wouldn't do it. Online booking was more important than the real people that were there.

We made reservations a month in advance for a formal wedding party. Check in n was told our reservation was for only one night. Told that the rooms were booked the next night via on line booking. So with cash paying customers standing in front of you, they still would not cancel the on line booking but was willing to lose our business. Poor management! Sure it's a "cute place" but if its poorly managed that makes it a dump! Do not nor will not recommend!

Leo and his wife were lovely, and very easy to deal with. The room had everything we needed, was clean and there was even a bowl of sweets to enjoy. A quiet setting, and relaxing evening.

Stayed here 5 years ago. Very cozy! We arrived very late and the owner was very nice. Wish we could of arrived earlier so we could enjoy our stay longer! Was traveling the upper Northwest and the owner even told us about some other places to visit. We hope to stay there again in the future!
