Very nice high quality fish. Obviously there is a premium for fish sourced from Europe, but the batch I received are quite nice. Shipping was professional. I’d definitely recommend the shop to someone looking for speciality or high quality bred fish!

First, they only responded to me once, although i sent multiple emails. Next, the pictures they have are photo-shopped. Even with my chiros wrgb, I cannot even come close to their colors. You know why? Cause those colors don't exist in that fish. Check all the other websites prior to ordering from them to double check if they are actually going to look like what you see in the picture. All of my fish didn't look close to the fish that I received. It's ok lesson learned to not order based on their pictures. I just felt that was a bit dishonest and the communication sucked.

I recently order fish from here. I'm super happy with the communication on shipping, the fast shipping of the fish and the quality. We ordered tetras and catfish and the fish are thriving. I will definitely order from here again.

Could not recommend any more strongly. I ordered a trio of apistogramma baenschi. The packaging was excellent. The shipping was very prompt. The fish came in super healthy and active. Within an hour of acclimation they were out, colored up, exploring their home, and eating. Jason does a wonderful job replying to questions left on the site. Overall just a wonderful experience. Can't wait to order again!

Two years ago I personally met and talked with Christel Kasselmann, the author of "Aquarium Plants". I debated whether to get the German or the English version, but decided to wait for the latter. I emailed her and plotted ways to get her book several times by sharing shipping with local club members, who, for some reason, didn't pan out. I contemplated going to Germany again. I contacted a Florida nursery with no e-commerce site about buying the book from them, but didn't feel comfortable with that. Imagine how happy I was to learn I could buy it from Red Fish Blue Fish, practically an hour away, but also online! The book arrived in perfect condition and extra care had been taken for its shipping to my local address.I can't wait to visit the actual store, which looks beautiful (thanks to Alex's youtube tour) once I can pry my nose out of the book! Had to update my review. It was the glowing five star one posted originally. After receiving not only poor service (ask for plants my goldfish wouldn’t completely demolish in a second and was sent home with tiny plants that they indeed destroyed in a night) and poor customer service when I presented him with a concern (the owner was extremely discourteous) I have been making the trek to Aquarium Co-op in Edmonds happily for years now and have plants that have held up just as long.

2 Months ago or so I ordered fish from several online vendors as I was building out my fishroom and I'm sorry to say my experience with red fish blue fish was the worst of the three.Nothing wrong with the packaging or shipping of the fish. However, for the vendor that outwardly seems to offer the highest quality fish, and charged the most for shipping, I ironically got the worst of all three.I ordered primarily for Bentley's line of Hawaiian guppies. the male arrived "alive" but the entirety of his tail was shredded and missing leaving just the meat of his caudle peduncle and a few fine hair like strands of fin left. He died within 24 hours. The bag was still fully inflated so I'm not sure how that could have happened in shipping.I was willing to just take the loss on that. The female did come pre-hit and had a batch of babies so a colony is slowly forming. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge is my 2 pairs of black lace metal heads. all 4 fish were and still are 2 months later virtually missing the gold pattern. There is just very small very faint patches of dull gold on what looks more like a black moscow than anything. On top of that 60% of their fry have bent spines. The stock was overall very poor. With how aggressively I need to cull for deformity, I don't know if this line will ever produce anything notable.

I’m lucky enough to travel around to visit a lot fish stores in Washington. And I just want to say that Red Fish Blue Fish is one the nicest stores there is. The owner is extremely kind and knowledgeable and the quality of their stock is like no other. I’m very happy with my purchase today.

Great store with an incredible selection for our small island. When I've been in there have been several rare fish species available (long fin neon tetra, green neon tetra, chili rasbora, and more) as well as classics (rummy nose and cardinal tetra, etc...), and everything always looks healthy and well cared for. I have purchased around 40 fish (CPDs and Chili Rasbora) from Red Fish Blue Fish, and they are all thriving in my aquariums at home. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. It's on par with stores you would expect find in much bigger cities. I highly recommend checking it out if you looking for a great local aquarium store.

This place is home to unique and healthy fish you often can’t find elsewhere. The owner only stocks products that are tested and high-quality, so you won’t have to wade through loads of junk to find what you need. The store is immaculate and the tanks are crystal clear. It’s the first fish store I’ve been to where I don’t feel like I’m “rescuing” the fish when I take them home.

The number one store around..Finally a store that takes responsibility for the fish in their care. No sick or dead fish, no misslableing, no shared water. These guys take ultimate care in preparing the fish for their transAmerica flight from west coast to east coast USA. Heat sealed bags with plenty of oxygen, styrofoam insulation in double wall shipping box, newspaper for additional insulation and cushion, tracking notifications, and great shipping options. Healthy well fed and robust ender and corys. RFBF Greenbank sets the industry example of how to successfully safeguard wildlife. Can't thank you enough !!!
