What a cool place. Kind of in the middle of nowhere in-between Coupeville and Freeland... Neat little store that just happens to make some really freaking good sandwiches! The menu has something for everyone. The ingredients are top notch! The bread is fantastic and it's cheap! Only like 10-12$ for a delicious sandwich that you could not make at home... Sorry ... It's too good. Highly recommended. And in case you're driving by and you're not hungry... Run into the weed store next door and get yourself the munchies! PS... The store also has some great gourmet and Asian ingredients that you won't get at any of the other stores on the south end of Whidbey.

Usually skeptical about ordering and paying in advance these days. The manager/sandwich maker heard me say that to the cashier. Needless to say my analytics were wrong here. My dining partner and I both were extremely happy with our tasty sandwiches.

A perfect lunch pit stop while exploring Whidbey Island! We got a classic turkey sandwhich and the roasted veggie salad. Their country bread was amazing and so fresh! Definitely recommend!!

Small but well stocked deli. My "Jersey" sandwich was excellent - toasted, full of pickles and sliced meats. Best sandwich I've had in a while.

Great little deli and market. The market carries ingredients that can be hard to source in a rural area, imported pasta, chocolates, and pantry staples, including many items that are locally made. They carry bread from the island's best bakeries, and have gorgeous seasonal bouquets. There are a few picnic tables outside if you want to eat your sandwich there. And bonus! 😀If you're taking a sandwich to go, like the excellent Reuben I get every month or 2, they'll assemble it for you to heat up at home, which is super-convenient if you don't live close by. (And it's in Greenbank! Hardly anyone does live close. 😅)I'd give them another star if they offered a wider variety of sandwiches, including a thoughtful, vegan option or 2, and if they sourced as much produce locally as possible. But the staff is lovely, the food is great, it's one of the handful of restaurants on Whidbey that's solidly excellent& actually worth what it costs to eat out now.

The best lunch spot! The RBB and Italian sandwiches are amazing. The RBB lasted me for two days it was that large. The bread is delicious regardless of what sandwich you choose, but the rye in particular is pretty spectacular. The selection of drinks and desserts was lovely as well. They have outdoor seating, so you can enjoy nice weather.

Tasty sandwiches, cool little retail section for deli-type food products, friendly staff. The only down side is they're so popular for lunch that there's usually about a 40 minute wait time for a sandwich. Call ahead with your order, otherwise be patient.

Such a good deli! Also it’s like a little store so you can pick up drinks and chips lol hence the pantry but if you’re in a pickle they got pies, cheese, canned goods, etc lol every sandwich I’ve tried so far have been awesome! Love the turkey BLT with avocado 🤤 edit: not sure sure what has happened within the last year but service is very harmless. Sometimes it feels as of going in for a sandwich is frowned upon. The BEST sandwiches. Holy Smokes. Seriously. If you eat meat, try the prosciutto mozz and if you’re vegetarian, the veggie rueben is outta sight. Call ahead because sometimes the line is long but damn is it worth it.

Can't say I've ever had a better roadside sandwich. To call this sandwich gourmet ( itialian xtra meat) would not be an exaggeration. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but then I realized I was eating ART.Worth every penny. Will definitely be back. Very friendly staff, good beverage selection, cute environment. Bravo greenbacks deli delicious. Wow 2nd visit.even better then first (the Ruban)I don't know who gave these folks their golden tounge, but they blend flavors perfectly. Best sandwich in ages both times. Go here, you'll be happy and glad you did. 3rd visit.Also delicious and generous portion (RBB). Leaving the island soon, hoping I can squeeze in another sandwich before heading home to Bellingham. If I had to rate them #1 itialian #2 Ruban #3 roast beef and blue.Bread excellent each and every time, although the rye was amazing on its own. 4th visit equally as good as all the rest.Had to return for another itialian, because I dint know when I will ever have a sandwich this good again.

Knock your socks off great food! I walked in and lost ability to think because the smell was so insanely good - all the cheese and meats and breads transports you to a deli in Italy! And all the exquisite imported delicacies they carry on the shelves are fun to pick up a few things to try as well. Service was fantastic- always busy, so be patient but so worth it

No trip to the Island is complete without a stop at the deli. The sandwiches are truly amazing. I'm not sure why/how this little unassuming shop along the highway exists, but I'm so glad it does! The sandwiches are huge, so we normally spilt them. Lots of great bougie snacks on offer as well. I adore the ruben.

The best sandwich I've ever tasted bar none...we tried calling/ordering ahead but nobody answered so ordered in person and waited 30 min but totally worth it! Can't wait to go back and the only reason why I left [1] star off is because the staff of [2] men were very unfriendly:(

Everything is high quality in this small, but well-stocked corner store. The sandwiches are certainly the star, but we also found delicious side items like yuzu soda and Hawaiian potato chips.

Stayed in an airbnb not far away in July and ended up ordering sandwiches here for dinner on two nights. Ate at one of the picnic tables out front and shared a salad from their cooler case. My husband had the Nomad sandwich both times since he liked it so much. I got the cold tuna sandwich one night and the Reuben another night. Both were great, and the salad was good, too.

Fantastic sandwiches! All the reviews that hype up the sandwiches here are true. My wife had the Italian and enjoyed it and I had the nomad, which was delicious! The nomad was large enough that it served as a late lunch/ early dinner.

This little store in green bank, along Highway 525 packs more delicious sandwiches and foods and condiments then you can imagine… I am never disappointed and always pleasantly surprised. The only consideration is for you to give yourself sufficient time to place the order to pick it up as it’s always busy, and I would advise calling your order in advance.

Awesome sandwiches! Super fresh bread, which made us think they bake it themselves. And the taste balance of ingredients was superb. I had the Jersey, no mayo. My wife had the TBA (Turkey, bacon avocado). We'll be returning very soon! Well worth the 45 minute wait (it was busy), but we'll call or order in first next time.

If you live on the island, you know, this is the best sandwich around! Fresh bread they bake in house. Cute little store with tons of international fixings/sauces, and a great selection of wine!

Amazing sandwiches made with quality ingredients, thoughtfully put together and served with excellent customer service. Such a wonderful all around experience! We tried three different sandwiches and they were all incredible. Highly recommend stopping in and grabbing one (or several sandwiches), a bottle of wine and some locally roasted coffee.
