I’ve been watching Von Tore K9 for years now and we finally purchased a pup in November of 2022. Best experience. She was very helpful and communicated well during the process. Our pup has the best temperament and smarts. Genetics are so important with this breed and she has quality dogs. Not to mention extremely handsome. I will definitely recommend and purchase puppies from this kennel in the furniture.

We got our puppy Lucius last August! He has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is super smart and loves playing. When we first got him he got really sick, I can’t express this enough I am so appreciative VonTore K9. They came over to my house and helped. They reassured me that they take pride in the pups! This is my third German Shepherd, and first from Von Tore K9. After doing research for a new puppy, and really wanting one from a good bloodline we picked Von Tore.When we first messaged they were quick to respond, and answer any questions we had. Initially we wanted a solid black, and were allowed to go visit one pup they had available. But we waited too long, and missed that opportunity and she found another family. Von Tore did have another litter available, and introduced us to two sable females they had available. When we met the first one I was really impressed by the dog. The dog was healthy, and well taken care of. The brought out the mother, and allowed us to see her and answered questions about her and her bloodline.After much discussion with the family we decided to put a deposit on the second female sable they had only because we wanted the darker coloring. Von Tore was very upfront with the deposit process, and allowed me to review their "Puppy Contract" to ensure I fully understand it.After putting down the required deposit we had to wait a couple weeks until she was 8 weeks and could come home. During this Von Tore allowed us to come visit the pup, and continued to communicate with us during the process.At the 8 weeks we received a message the dog was ready for pick up, and we scheduled an appointment that worked best for both of us. When we arrived we were greeted with our new dog. The dog had recently been bathed, and we were provided with a number of toys, food bowl, and leash. We totally didn't expect this, and were pleasantly surprised.We went over all the AKC Registration Paperwork, Puppy Purchase Contract, and the Health Guarantee. Each document was fully explained so we understand everything.After getting home I was completing the AKC Online Registration for the pup, and came across a question I needed answered. I reached out to Von Tore and they were quick to answer my questions so I could complete the online registration.Overall I'm very impressed with the entire experience. I did read some of the other reviews that talked about the health of their pup when they got home. I can only speak to my pup and experience, and ours is healthy and full of energy. I have no concerns what so every and would recommend them if your looking for a quality German Shepherd.

I have never been happier to have found Von Tore. Amanda and everyone is absolutely amazing, not only from a breeding standpoint but from a training standpoint as well. You can tell they really take pride in their dogs. We recently purchased a little sable boy and he has been the best pup. Not only is he gorgeous but he is incredibly smart. The level of service my family has received in care and communication well after we picked the puppy up was beyond my expectations. I would definitely purchase from them again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality GS puppy whether it is for a family pet or a working dog, they are hands down the best.

I had been looking for quite awhile for my next German Shepherd. I spent a lot of time researching breeders and talking to local German shepherd owners on Facebook groups and in the public. I heard nothing but positive feedback about Von Tore K9. I decided to reach out to Amanda and inquire about her pups. After meeting her and her pack, I fell in love. The intelligence, strong nerves and overall structure of her dogs was exactly what I was looking for. I got my German shepherd pup and am still in such shock on what an amazing pup he is. He is so smart and the temperament is amazing. I am a very picky person, especially when it comes to dogs and I will hands down recommend Von Tore K9 to anyone looking for their next Shepherd. Every breeder will receive some sort of “bad” review. It just comes with the business. By far the best experience I have ever had! I purchased 2 babies from this kennel, one for myself and one for my son. I have gotten two Shepherds from Amanda. And my dogs are absolutely amazing! Amanda has always been there for when I needed her help for training tips or coming to her with my babies to get hands on training, she does amazing work with them and all her dogs! Amanda responds quickly with any questions or concerns I have about my Shepherds no matter what time of day she has always been there.If you are looking to get a Shepherd from Amanda I totally recommend her 100%! We just got our little man, Tino back fromVon Tore and he spenta good 6-7 weeks with her for his anxietyandstranger danger. Our dog was a dog thatwould haveliteral panic attacks multiple times per day,would notlet a stranger in our home without barkingand tryingto lunge, and unpredictable on walks atwho andwhat he would react to. Not to mentionextremeanxiety in a car. The most obvious andmostimportant thing we noticed was his stateof mindgetting him back. He was so much morecalm andshowed very little anxiety. She was morethan helpfulin showing us everything he had learnedbefore wewent home, so we could be set up forsuccess withhim. AND make sure we saw what he knewso hedidn't try to play us once we were home.the lastcouple days he has definitely tried to playus, but ithas not been too bad at all. Our trainer followed upwith a great routine for us to do for thefirst twoweeks, so Tino understood those rulesapplied nowat home. He has had O panic attacks in ourhome, heis now crate trained and walks right intohis cratewhen told, and eats his food when it's time(never didthis before). We have yet to take himanywhere, butwhen we work outside our condo complexhe doesamazing. Sits, knows down, comes whencalled, hasjust "watched" people walk past us.. it'sreally a 360.We utilize the collar exactly how we weretaught and it is an amazingcommunication tool betweenus and him now. No yelling, or panickingjust purecommunication. People that think it is"cruel" oranything negative clearly has not had adog that isn'tjust your average "pet dog". Even theneveryoneshould use it. Very grateful we foundAmanda and her crew and can'twait to see how far Tino comes.

We purchased our boy at the end of September and we couldn't be happier! We have had German Shephards in the past and anyone purchasing this breed should be well aware of everything that comes with owning this large energetic working breed. They are very busy and also protective. That being said, this is literally the best puppy I have raised in 30 years. He is smart and wants to please. We have other dogs, cats, and small children in the house and he has trained wonderfully to not chase the kitties and to have a soft mouth. He does like to explore things (and people) with his mouth but is training out of it beautifully and has never been aggressive. Our vet was very impressed with both his conformation and temperament. He was well socialized when we got him and learns things very quickly. He is a magnificent companion and one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you Amanda!

Von Tore K9 is an amazing GSD breeder who produce the cutest little puppies that turn into great working dogs. They have the parents vet checked and cleared for hips and elbows. They are extremely knowledgeable and are patient and and kind in their responses. They help you make the best decision for both the puppy and your family. They truly care about the dogs. I am very impressed with the way they handle every encounter with clients and how they walk them through the buying process and answer questions. I will continue to go through Von Tore K9 for future dogs, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a GSD!

We purchased a pup from Amanda under the pretense that we were looking for a family oriented Shepherd. The puppy had shown aggressive tendencies from an early age so we spent a lot of money on training to try and help as we both really cared him as if he was one of our kids. The reason I am giving such a low review is that we were not able to get the aggressiveness out of him and it led to him attacking one of us badly with no provocation. After this incident that requires a trip to the hospital we had no choice but to give him back to Amanda. Upon informing Amanda of this she admitted that he was from a high drive working line (We were told when purchasing he was a perfect family dog.) Again she knew the type of home he was going into and had she disclosed that he was bred to be a high drive/working dog we would have purchased from another breeder or waited for a low drive pup. After the attack happened we gave the pup back. What really shocked me is how she blamed us for the incident, took zero responsibility and literally laughed in my face when I asked her to make it right by giving us a refund as we were misled as to the type of dog we were purchasing. I would not recommend Von Tore at all as I question her desire to make sure that these puppies are actually put in the correct environment versus just making a quick buck. I’d like to add that I grew up with Shepherds and have owned and trained myself before and he ended up being the best dog in the world. I am just glad that it was an adult that was seriously attacked and not a child and I hope that Amanda corrects the situation with a simple refund after misrepresenting the type of dog that we were buying from her. Out of sheer lack of professionalism I would not recommend Von Tore to anyone. There are plenty of other breeders out there to chose from.

Amanda was great to work with. I was looking for a GSD for about a year before I decided to go with her line. She was able to answer each and everyone of my questions, providing me with more additional information that wasn’t asked but necessary for my family situation. When we went to first met the puppy’s they were All inside and very well socialized for their age. Even after I purchased Broly in Jan of 2019 she has been responsive and active if I ever needed to follow up with her!Ex: I explained my oldest son was scared of the puppy and she said to bring them both over, to show me ways to work on it at home and gave me some helpfully pointers to help with it... now Broly and him are the best of friends.Now to speak about her dogs... they are very beautiful but that is not the most important feature to base getting a GSD off of. It’s their behavior, temperament, and drive that’s right for your situation ( Amanda details this out )! My boy has been an absolute charmer with my family and especially two young children. He is very alert and protective to my child who has a neurological disorder, barking to get our attention if he is doing something he should not be ( was not trained just very in tune to his needs ). Broly has been the biggest blessing for our family.When I am ready for #2 I will be going back to Amanda.

Amanda is the best German Shepherd breeder and she genuinely cares about her dogs. She always takes the extra steps to ensure that all of the pups are vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped before going to their new homes. She is a wonderful trainer as well. She trained my boy Batman to do certain tasks for me since I'm disabled and have a hard time doing certain things. After trying another trainer that failed I found Amanda and she has done wonders with Batman. She's always willing to answer my questions and is always willing to help. I'm really looking forward to getting my next GSD from her that will be able to take over for Batman when it's time. I know it will be coming from very smart, loyal and hard working bloodlines.

We bought our baby from Amanda a few years ago and he had problems from a VERY young age. At 10 weeks old we found out he had hip dysplasia. We had gotten multiple xrays over the years. When we contacted her she was rude and said he would grow out of it. It is five years later and guess what? My baby still has it. We took him to a surgical specialist and have spent thousands getting opinions on treatment options for him . Not only that but our specialist also told us his aggressive behavioral problems are from the breeding. We have put a lot of work and money into our baby. I would never purchase a puppy from her ever again. I warn others to stay away as well.

My dad got a puppy from them in April, great and well behaved pup, he came microchipped and we were told he was vaccinated but he didn’t come with vaccination records. The breeder said she’d send it in the mail but the records never came. My dad and I both have tried getting a hold of the breeder by email, phone, and Facebook. They are completely ignoring us and refuse to give us the vaccination records. So now my dad has to take his puppy that paid almost $1000 for, to the vet to get a titer test to find out what he has which is an extra couple hundred dollars all because the breeders won’t give us the records. Very disappointed in our experience with this place. Happy to have the puppy but not happy with customer relations aspect of this business.

Follow-up to my initial post. I took our new pup to it's first Vet appointment. Our long time Vet was very impressed with her, and said she looks like she is in very good health, and she had zero concerns. She was also very pleased that Von Tore K9 had followed the initial vaccinations guidelines and sent us home with deworming medication.

I was sold a puppy at 6 months old. Within 2 days she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The owner disputed that. If not genetic, it was the way she was raised. Almost seven years later, she now walkes with a doggie wheelchair.

Wonderful breeder! They have pups vaccinated, dewormed, all paperwork in order, microchipped, and ready to go! They even gave my puppy a bag of food, collar, and a bath before I picked her up.
