Had a wonderful time in Goldendale with the family. With plenty of hiking and exploring do to, a roomy and clean Motel room along with a delicious and well rounded breakfast made the weekend into a great experience for everyone! Thanks for making us feel welcome!Rooms: Our room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable!Food & drinks: We had a nice hot breakfast with plenty of options for kids and adults alike.

Absolutely love this little hotel, Best hotel breakfast ever, no powdered eggs, sausage wasn't so overly hydrated you get a shot of pork juice every time you take a bite, The Host is Michelle is absolutely fantastic me and my son broke down. And we're stuck for Christmas, nothing was open, she made sure we had dinner, and caught breakfast each morning, will stay here any time I'm in the gorge.. quiet, and comfy..

Very nice motel in a small town. My room was clean and comfortable and quiet.My favorite part though was the breakfast.Awesome breakfast.Goldendale is a nice small town. The observatory is well worth visiting.

This was an ordinary model but very comfortable and clean. I would 100% recommend staying here. The lady at the front desk and the staff laying out breakfast were courteous. Talking about the breakfast, it was delicious. It was no ordinary breakfast buffet. There were eggs and sausages, potatoes, waffle, biscuits, gravy and the likes. They had something for every taste bud. We had an EV and they let us charge it overnight for free. Overall a great stay for our family.

We had a two bed, kitchen suite 🏨 so much room, plenty for our family of four! The breakfast, YUM!!!! The potatoes and eggs have peppers and onions in them, so much flavor! The biscuits and gravy super good, and you can make your own . Sausage, cereal, bagels, danishes - this place has everything you need. everyone is super friendly and accommodating. The beds were extremely uncomfortable though, as were the pillows. No fan, which I use for background noise so I just used an app on my phone. All in all, a wonderful stay and We will def be back on our way through again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality! 👏🏻

We stayed here recently and overall it was a great experience. The lady that checked us in and out was very nice. She told us if we needed anything to call her anytime as she lives onsite. The room was clean(no bedbugs) and comfortable. The wifi worked great as we were only 5 rooms down from the office. It was very quiet at night. This surprised me being that it is very close to hwy 97, and the main road is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety of items to choose from. All in all I would recommend this place for the value that you get. The next time we are in town we will stay here again.Nearby activities: Goldendale Observatory

Morning breakfast was great. The room had minor damage/defects, not untoward for the age of the building. I had a minor issue with the first room we were presented with. The front desk immediately gave me an alternate room, even though they were quite full. Bring shampoo/conditioner, they had body wash/soap in the shower. I will use them next time I stay in Goldendale, WA. Great breakfast.Food & drinks: The morning eggs were great, with peppers and onions. Waffles, juice, biscuits, gravy, sausage, potatoes, coffee, milk, cereal, tea, yogurt, and lots more. centrally located for easy access.

What a cute little "vintage" 💎! From the check-in desk to the breakfast buffet, everything was compact, cozy, and very efficient.Had the biggest & best Motel breakfast ever! Cereal & biscuits & gravy & eggs & homefries & sausages & waffles (all tucked inside a buffet room just big enough to hold it all). It's definitely worth the stop!Nearby activities: Stargazing at The Washington Observatory at Goldendale Observatory State Park is fantastic!Food & drinks: Best Motel breakfast buffet ever!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ponderosa. Friendly service, very clean room, excellent big breakfast, quiet location. The rooms are dated and could use spiffing up, with thicker curtains to keep out bright lights on premises and early sun.Nearby activities: Easy drive to the Glendale Observatory and 15 minute walk to some downtown locations.

Great little motel! Room was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was the typical variety of eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pastries etc, but the quality was FAR above and beyond anything I've ever eaten in a hotel. Hats off to the cook and all the other staff! They were all friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

My husband is staying in Goldendale Ponderosa Motel for his business trip. They served Breakfast at Morning. Very small town and only few motels around here. But mostly best choice for him. Bathroom is clean, TV is working well, He really needs to ESPN channel lol if he watched the sports channel. He is a happy. Crews are nice and kind.

When I booked this motel on short notice for my family of six, I didn't expect much and the Ponderosa exceeded my expectations. Our room was quite large and had plenty of beds for the whole family. The bunk beds were squeaky getting in and out, but once you were on them, they weren't bad at all. The mattresses were comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast, which I wasn't even expecting the motel to have, was great. Real potatoes and eggs with excellent biscuits and gravy.The owners were very friendly, helpful and personable. This motel looks like it's being improved as they can and it was an unexpectedly good stay. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a very wonderful stay the Breakfast was out of this world and the staff was so amazing. Cost was very fitting for our budget.Rooms: Everything was great except trash wasn't emptied in bathroom and there was hair all over in the shower. But otherwise the room was great bed was very comfortable.Safety: We felt very safeNoteworthy details: Our stay was very quiet and safe and comfortable. We will definitely return again. The room was dirty and run down. The bedside table was not cleaned prior to our stay. The knob to turn on the main lamp in the room was broken off and so the lamp was unusable. The bedside lamp shades were tattered. There were bugs in the sink area.The bed sheets *seemed* to be clean and the bed was comfortable enough, but the whole experience was pretty icky. We won’t be back.

We stayed 4 nights for a family reunion. We rented 5 rooms. The manager Tina made us feel more than welcome. The food, rooms, and atmosphere were more than we expected. Thank you Tina and the breakfast cooks. You were awesome.Rooms: The rooms were clean. The beds very comfortable. The motel is older but Tina is working on getting things spruced up. Everything works fine. I would highly recommend it.Nearby activities: We were there for a family reunion. We visited the park and the observatory. The kids planned to go to the water park but it turned cold that day. There was also a rodeo nearby that we checked out.Food & drinks: The breakfast was fresh cooked and quite tasty. I've not enjoyed hotel breakfast as good as this before. Not only did you have the typical choices but also potatoes, scrambled eggs (from real eggs), sausage links and patties, and fresh biscuits and gravy. Something for everyone. The.mamager was able to accommodate a large group and made us feel pampered.

We stayed for an extended stay for my husband to recover from surgeries, rooms were clean, staff was very helpful and they definitely are not running any kind of puppy mill out of the place. Compared to 3 years ago when their was riff raff of all sorts hanging put on premises it is definitely much quieter and the new renovations are looking really good. Breakfast is very good and staff is helpful and friendly

Based on previous reviews I was expecting a much better motel. Our room was dirty. Dirty walls, dirty baseboards, dirty shower curtain. This room clearly has not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time. Only 1 out of 3 lights in the bedroom worked. I had to troubleshoot the TV, which was unplugged and set on the wrong input, and I could not adjust the volume with the remote. The air conditioning unit was missing buttons to adjust the temperature. They don't provide soap for the shower. And finally, the flies. I probably killed 10-12 in the room upon arrival. Breakfast was fine - On par with a standard hotel buffet. Do not recommend.

ALWAYS INSPECT THE BED. We were driving to the gorge and decided to stop here after reading the reviews. What I didn’t see was anyone writing about the bed bugs that I was able to find after a quick 30 second investigation. We let the front desk lady know and showed her a picture. I gave 2 stars because she did the right thing and gave us a refund.

First room dirty and no TV. Second room had urine all around toilet. Breakfast was very nice. Lots Definitely not a good area by looks of the people possibly living in room. Stay on 2 Saturdays. 1st Saturday I was in a second floor room. 2nd Saturday they upgraded me to a larger ground floor room for no extra charge.Both rooms were clean, had heating/AC and fridges/coffee makers. The second floor room had a tub/shower while the ground floor just had a walk in shower. Additionally, either I had quite neighbors or their rooms have better sound proofing than my apartment in Vancouver.Was a very nice place.
