Check out is ridiculous. One person to 5 pluse customers in line. Then, the self check out with only 5 items or less. The service is slow. Have to wait in line for 15 minutes. Computer systems are slow. When we have shopped at other Dollar General locations there are multiple staff members helping to get customers checked out and on their way, when there has become more then three parties waiting in line.

well they dont have about a third of the store priced, same items for months now. they dont care where or how the alarm tags on clothing ( specially bigger sizes.) second time i got charged full price on clearance item, even though i told them. hate having to go back and have it fixed. i work in retail,so i know!

Went here to pick up a couple of items with my fiancé and the self checkout would not print our receipt and we couldn’t find an employee for about 10 minutes. So, we left, knowing we didn’t need our receipt, we just wanted it. As soon as we walk to our car, this woman comes ruining our and yelling at us that we didn’t pay! I was mortified! First of all we did pay, because we NEVER had to run out card again, all that rude woman had to do was push a button and the receipt came out but she decided to call my fiancé a thief in front of the entire store! That was a complete lie, totally uncalled for and completely unprofessional! She looked to be high, but who knows in this town. We can prove it through cameras and my bank account, because if we had “stolen” anything, she would have been able to call law enforcement, but sue didn’t and WE deserve an apology for that disgusting behavior! Horrible story and poor quality reporting of f employment who obviously have no idea how to do their job.

Dollar general is amazing and the team there and the Manager Heather is amazing, she is very caring and always their for her team members and customers. I'm so happy to have a happy place to go shopping at I love the prices that they have there, and they have amazing house decor there I go there and always find stuff that is amazing... Heather has done amazing job, and the people who stock the shelves... To keep it rolling smoothly.. And everyone is patience with each other when it gets backed up. It seems like it's a family there have each other.

So I had a problem and was very upset BUT The store Manager/Gm Heather contacted me and made everything right. I absolutely LOVE their prices! Often times I would go to our other stores needing something basic like toilet paper and I was horrified to see what dollar General was selling for $5 and and the others were selling for $8! And the same with cat food or other items.... Heather has a pretty good team and I'm Thankful for her genuine kindness to me and my son and other family.

Dirtiest store in town, and there is never an employee at the second check stand and hasn't been since they opened. Usually not even one at the first, they want you to ring a bell to get their attention. Terrible customer service.

This is a new store in our community! It needs respect. So tired of this town fighting something new that creates jobs and has great customer service! Yes as a new business there are kinks to be worked out but don't blame the manager or the staff because they are doing everything they can to make this business successful! If some of the shelves are empty it just proves they are selling stuff to this community! Stop being haters and start fighting for this community!! We are dying because the elders don't want new business except restaurants that are not helping the people of this town only making them broke!

Manager is always overly excited to see me and I love it! 5 stars! Highly recommend. Highly recommend the red potatoes at the German restaurant in town as well.

They did not activate the phone they sold me. After purchasing the phone I went back in and asked did you activate this phone?- they said yes. I needed it at that moment for an emergency. It would not work. I drove to the Dalles and bought another phone there. I needed that second phone to call verizon and find out what was wrong with the phone - after two hours on the phone with verizon the man said the phone was not activated at the store. Since I had to buy another phone to get that one working it was $73 thrown away. I will never go in this store again. There is a big sign saying phones are not returnable - that should have been a clue - they sell you a non-returnable phone and then don't activate it. It is just like stealing.. They owe me $73 plus gas to The Dalles and back and several hours of time - all during a family emergency.

Bad customer service. Messy store. Prices that are listed do not match prices at the register. Can’t use the bathroom because they “lost” the key. Some of the cashiers are extremely rude. And there’s only ever one of them working up front so LONG LINES.

Great little store, just seem to have problems stocking up with goods.Checkers are very friendly and enjoy going there, although they need to have someone to help people take out their items. Great little store, other than that.

I loveDG in goldendale, wide variety of items and so reasonable. I hardly go to the expensive grocery stores in town anymore.i love that they sell baking supplies and spices too. The DG brands are great . The staff are always so helpful, thank you DG

Wow! So many items in this store. I saved about 35-40% over same items in other grocery stores. Love that they carry groceries, decorative items, personal care, and lots of party and gift wrap.

If I wanted to pay top prices for any item, I would continue to travel to The Dalles or Yakima. Very few things were actually $1 so I dont even know why it's called a dollar store.
