Nice spot in town to get something cold to drink, good food and WiFi. We went for breakfast and the lady working the counter was so nice we came back for their lunch special after she told us about it. Feels good to support a business like this. Keep up the great work!

This is the place to stock up on stuff in the remote Glenwood area. They have good coffee, some hot food, and friendly staff. But the real treat is the Burger Shed food truck next door. It's open weekends and serves delicious burgers. If you're there in the morning, try the avocado toast. Scrumptious!

Once you leave the Columbia River Gorge area and head north, there aren't many options for shopping, but the Glenwood General Store provides an adequate destination for basic needs. The store covers the basics and even has prepared foods to pickup for a quick meal. The staff was very friendly and provided recommendations on things to do in the area. Step into the front parking area and you'll be met by a large sasquatch and great views of Mt. Adams. For those staying at the nearby Getaway Cabins, the Glenwood General Store should meet most of your needs if you forget to grab something on your way up to the outpost.

Clean and classy. Best fried chicken ever!! Very nice cashier and very helpful. Great prices for health snacks. Great liquor selection as well. Overall love stopping in for a treat! :)

Staff always friendly and lots of product variety. The mini mart is always well stocked and their everyday meals (chicken, pizza, fries, etc) are fresh. During summers they offer delicious burgers for lunch. Try one!

Went in here and the lady at the desk was so kind. She made us feel welcomed had conversation. We loved it. Then sat down at the tables they have inside and ate food. It was delicious. When I'm back in Glenwood I will definitely be returning here again. ❤

Tons of hot food during hunting season! Really good pizza and biscuits and gravy. Some of the help leaves a little to be desired though.

It took 2 hours on fathers day, just to get 2 burgers to go. That's 2 hours I will never get back, that could have been spent with family. The burgers sucked. I ordered fries, which ended up not ordered. It was horrible. My husband and dogs sat in the hot truck the whole time. Other people just left without their orders. Then another person with the same name almost took my order. I had to step up and say wait a minute. Never again.

A small community couldn’t have a finer General Store.Hungry? Go here! Lots of beverages and hot food to re-energize. There’s a different hot meal served everyday. Want pizza? Take and bake, too!All the conveniences of a General Store. General merchandise and amazing grocery selections.. Claude stocks the shelves with gourmet choices in addition to generic and name brands.The best part is the people. Claude and his staff are very nice people. They know where things are and make your visit worthwhile.

Love the New kitty. Gonna miss the general tho. I really like how you accommodate the community. I really feel that is what keeps them.coming back like they do. By allowing them to have charge accounts. You cant get that in most places. Idk, I just think it's a really cool way to keep the business local.

Was in the area doing a job. Thought I would support the local business. Sign out side said today special fried chicken.Went inside chicken smelled wonderful. Asked what the deal was on the chicken. With a very unfriendly tone was told they were sold out but the hot case was full. Believe I was treated rudly because I was not a local. Will never step foot in that place again

General the cat was the cutest thing in the world, we came back again just to see her! We found everything we were looking for and I was super happy to find vegan grocery items. Definitely recommend!

Not much available in Glenwood, but this store is a great place to stop for a quick bite or if you need a beverage. Standard general store stuff, with some stuff made to order.

Claude McKenzie has done this little town such a great service since he bought this store by providing a little bit of everything that you might need in a pinch when you can't or don't want to travel an hour out of town.
