Never had any issues. And it's location is perfect for all my jobs in the area... great customer service and very outgoing staff.. very clean and more organized than other locations. And never to packed, always a register available with not to long of a wait.. Good job.

Buyer beware! Do yourself a favor and do not use Home Depot for special orders. I waited more than a month for three awning style windows. The windows were delivered to Home Depot a week before I was notified that they were there. Once notified, I immediately went to the store to pick them up but when I got there, one of the windows was shattered. I was upset so asked to speak to a manager. The manager, promised me that the window would be Rush ordered and that I would be notified the following day with a date of receiving. That phone call never came through. I called the store two days later and asked to speak to another manager. That manager promised me that they would relay the message to the person that was supposed to be ordering the windows and that that person would be calling me the next day. I never received that call. 4 days later, contacted the store and asked to speak to the store manager. I asked to speak to the person at highest in charge. I was told that this person was at lunch. I asked that the store manager contact me and left my contact information. The store manager blew me off and did not contact me either. There were three managers involved and not one of them bothered to contact me regarding my broken window that I paid for now a month and a half ago. Home Depot flat out does not care about its customers and flatly will not follow through and help you so you definitely will be making a big mistake if you rely on Home Depot for any special orders. F- all the way! Super disappointed!

I have always had a good shopping experience at this location. Friendly staff and that includes the cashiers as well. I always require assistance because the product brands and various quality items within the brands are vast. I have put my trust in the department clerks and have never been mislead. I always do hours of product research before going to the store and you know what, the staff has always been helpful. I don’t discuss anything except my needs and I have let the knowledgeable staff lead the way. I do really appreciate the opportunity to shop here. Great Work and hard working workers enhance the shopping experience.

As a frequent visitor to Home Depot in Gig Harbor, WA, I've always known it to be a welcoming place for both humans and their furry companions. Today's visit, however, made me appreciate this store even more.The contrast between my experience here and at another local hardware store was stark. Unlike my recent visit to Ace Hardware where I was told in no uncertain terms that dogs are not allowed, Home Depot has consistently been a haven for me and my 3-year-old Labradoodle. The staff, easily recognizable in their orange aprons, not only welcome dogs but often have treats ready for them - a fact my dog can attest to with her enthusiastic sniffing!What truly sets this Home Depot apart is the genuine warmth and inclusiveness they extend to all their customers, regardless of whether they walk on two legs or four. Whenever I ask my dog if she wants to go to Home Depot, her excitement is palpable - a testament to the positive environment the store has created.I didn't fully realize the extent of Home Depot's kindness and customer-friendly approach until today. It's clear that this store not only excels in home improvement supplies but also in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all its customers.For any dog owners and home improvement enthusiasts in Gig Harbor, I wholeheartedly recommend Home Depot. It's a place where you and your four-legged friends can feel at home.

The lady working in the paint department was short and rude to several customers that asked for help. Her product knowledge was nonexistent. According to the app the carry several brands of chalk paint in a variety of colors but could only find 1 brand that had to be tinted.

They need to have someone working in every department. Especially when they have items locked up. There should be no reason a person should be worried about being late for work because they have to wait for a global company to track someone down to open a lock for a saw blade.

I purchased 186 pavers and began laying them only to find out that the heights of the pavers differed by nearly 1/4". The website says that the sizes are approximate, but when the description says 1.77in, that makes me think that it will be fairly close to that considering they went through the time to specifically state it's 1.77 and not 1.75 which sounds like a nice round number.I informed the customer service desk who contacted the manger and she informed me it's industry standard to have that large a variance. I'm not an industry insider, I just followed the information that was posted on their website. After informing me that I was installing the incorrectly I was informed Home Depot would do nothing to remedy any of the inconvenience and wasted time that it had caused that that I should just "Do it right". I've never had a worse customer service experience and I will make a pretty decent effort to avoid it in the future.

I love going to this place for all my house hold needs. Whether it is yard work, painting, cabinets, appliances, and everything else in between, the Home Depot can make your tasks so much easier. The help you get there is friendly service and they usually know where everything is at.

Literally walked the entire store end to end from gardening to lumber to get a flatbed cart that wasn't already loaded with merchandise that needed to be put away or was pre loaded for commercial accounts or something. Unattended with no customers around so definitely not in use by customers at that time. The photos are just a portion of what I saw. Almost took the merch off one but decided not to be a dick. Finally wandered outside & found one out in a cart return receptacle. Other than that, great store!

I’m giving this store a 2 star review because over the course of 6 years shopping here, it is without fail that every single time I’m here I need a handful of things and can’t find something because it’s not on the shelf. App will say they have plenty but it’s still in overstock somewhere. I even brought this up to the manager directly and was just met with canned customer service responses. Stock your shelves please.Furthermore, I cannot stand just having carts and carts of product in the aisles. Put the stuff on the shelf and don’t make your customers walk around it. As the consumer I shouldn’t have to walk around obstacles to find what I need.

Sat around in the flooring department for 30min before somebody helped me. And I asked 3 different employees for help. Then I went to the paint section and needed help with tools to put up wallpaper the blonde woman was too busy flirting with a customer to even look at me let alone offer me help, and I was right next to her waiting for her to be done. Nobody in this store is kind or helpful. I will NEVER be coming here again & I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know not to come here as well. This has been the worst experience Iv ever had at a Home Depot

My favorite store! I was looking to get some portable rechargeable lights. I was in and our in less than ten minutes with three rechargeable lights for just about $90 the quality is great and now I can go skateboard at night ( : great store for all your home/life improvement needs. Somtimes the people there dont know what they are talking about, so do your research if you're looking for home improvement items. 5 stars

I guess I look like a thief. We just moved to the area from NY so I was spending thousands of dollars replacing power tools I sold off before we moved. About 3 associates kept following me around. They finally asked me if I would leave my cart at the service desk because thieves have been a problem. I guess that means I look like I don’t have money and would rather steal from them. Thanks Home Depot, maybe another store would be happy to have me spend my money there instead.

45 minutes I drove 45 minutes after calling and speaking with customer service desk to buy a specific tool they told me over the phone that there was 43 in stock so I drove 45 minutes to get there only to find that the only one they had was the display model and they were not trying to give it up even though it was there screw up on how many were inventoried on my specific item. All calls to and from my business phone are recorded and when I played a recorded conversation between me and customer service the manager was more concerned about how illegal that was then taking care of the issue at hand, they're screw up. I wouldn't go back to that Home Depot if it was the last one. What is the point of calling to verify the inventory if they dont know what they are talking about. I would not recommend this Home Depot to anybody. By far the worst experience that I've ever had at a hardware store and I'm a general contractor I'm there quite a bit

Staff was very very nice and knowledgeable about where literally EVERY product I asked about he knew the exact location in the store down to what it's next to and/or across from. Also offered lots of helpful tips about certain products I was looking to buy. I am very impressed with how this gentleman handled customers. After he helped me I listened to him help the lady that was behind me... Again, he was phenomenal. I wish I would have gotten his name. But I will get it next time I'm in here and then I'll come update the review with his name.

Overall I like shopping at this particular Home Depot, the associates are nice and be most are knowledgeable. The one complaint I have is there is a bit of a lack in variety in certain things such as fasteners and some hardware. I don't blame the store employees since they don't make most of those decisions. I definitely end up doing a lot of my home improvement shopping here.

This location is usually well stocked, has plenty of employees to assist upon request, and can generally find what you need.My complaints are that the product excessive half stands in the front of the isles in the front of the store, making it difficult to maneuver and really slow down customer traffic. And restrooms are inconsistent and are usually unclean and semi stocked.

My experience with my Gig Harbor Home Depot was a great experience this morning. I can't say enough good things about Barb S/P and Char for their help with selecting a new weed trimmer and lawnmower. I've seen some poor reviews here, but I go to this location a LOT and every one is consistently nice and helpful. This last trip really stood out, as Pauline was quick and friendly when grabbing tools for me. She even went out of her way to point out a different sale that could have been a better value (and would have been, had it not been for my specific tool and battery needs). Angela rung me up, and was pleasant as always. The only name I didn't get was the gentleman who helped me to begin with. I'm sure I looked like I needed help, and he was obviously busy (he was running to the customer service desk) but he stopped anyway. I didn't flag him down or anything, he just saw that I needed assistance and stopped what he was doing to help me. It turned out that he couldn't help me get the tools I needed, but he said that he would get customer service to call up some help and that if no one was there by the time he got back, he'd track someone else down. Pauline was there in just a minute or two, but that young man was so nice, and a huge help besides. I didn't catch his name, but I think he had glasses and was wearing a flat cap.

In May of 2021, I purchased a pet stain resistant carpet through Home Depot. This product has a 10 year warranty, so long as we get it professionally cleaned every 12-18 months. There are pet stains that did not come out with our carpet cleaner, and the carpet was professionally cleaned a year ago.Fifteen times I have been in touch with Home Depot. Twelve times I have not received a call back. Several times I have not gotten through to a person that "is capable of helping with my problem."It has now been four months since I have received positive news about the status of my warranty claim, and I would not recommend dealing with Home Depot. It is possible other stores do a better job, but at this point I dont undersrand why that would be.

This place is horrible. Order your power tools from Amazon. They arrive about the same time since you have to wait for someone to unlock the product. Hint: they never show up. 30 min of my time wasted, then I go down the aisle and the employees are all chatting with each other. This place is good for nails and screws. That's about it.
