I love their selection but I'm not in love with their inconsistent "teacher discount." Every time I come in with my daughter I'm denied a discount because according to the staff my items "aren't for [my] classroom," when in reality I'm constantly taking things to and from home to support my classroom AND my own child. It's 10%. You either support teachers with it, or you don't, there should be no subjectivity at the register.

What an awesome find. Hard to find educational wooden toys when you travel. Staff were very helpful and polite. Will definitely return when on this side of the US.

This has been my family's go-to toy store since I was a small child (at the Tacoma location). Even as an adult, Teaching Toys is one of my "happy places." The selection is varied for such a small store, and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. In pre-pandemic times, I would often bring my nephew by just to browse and play with toys. They also have a good variety of board games and fidget toys that adults can enjoy as well.

This is my wife's favorite store for gifts for our grandkids!!! We could easily go broke. There are so many fantastic toys for many age ranges here.The staff here is very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the free gift wrapping.

While we were having our taxes done, our EA suggested my wife visit this store. My wife owns a home daycare and planned to buy a birthday gift for one of the daycare kids. When we walked into the store, we were struck by the vast amount of stock on the floor and on the shelves for a relatively small place. But, my wife found the perfect gift for the child and at a very good price. She also found two sets of Magna Tiles, which are very popular with the older daycare kids--at prices that beat Amazon's.The ladies on duty were warm, friendly and welcoming. It's just a nice, no-stress place to shop with fair prices. Judging by how many customers filled the store, a lot of people feel this same way.My wife used to buy those birthday gifts here in town at a local supermarket that apparently will no longer sell toys. We are very glad of that decision and of our tax person's suggestions. We're going back this weekend to buy those Magna Tiles.

This is a wonderful store with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The toys sold here are all excellent quality, many made here in the US and Europe by independent companies. This is a business who understands their clientele and truly lives their values.I recommend them highly.
