What a stellar, amazing, customer friendly and local small business. I was super late ordering a cake for my wife’s bday- not only did they put a rush on it for me, but they coordinated for me to be able to pick it up after hours. I talked to Ellie on the phone and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Will be buying many more cakes and baked goods from this fantastic little shop! Thank you guys again!

We are so pleased with this bakery! We ordered the strawberry whipped cream cake for our micro wedding this weekend and it was perfect for our group of 21. We requested that the cake come without piping on top so we could add our own berries and they were happy to accommodate. We also ordered the apple and marionberry pies, which received so many compliments from our guests. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for cake/pie around Gig Harbor.

HOLY COW! We just popped in here on a whim. The service was kind and efficient. I asked for a chocolate croissant, but they were out. So it was recommended that I try the Hazelnut Morning Bun (hazelnut was a new flavor for this particular item - and they MUST do it again!). It was the best baked good I've had since Paris in 2019. I'm not kidding in the tiniest way. And the latte is also just out of this world! I can't recommend Suzanne's highly enough!(PS: Can they ship these to New Mexico?)

The coffee and baked goods are amazing. They have a vegan cookie with chocolate and nuts that is incredible. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich is also killer. They should sell the peanut butter ... The 4 stars is bc the salads are much too pricey for what you get. The addition of a grain or protein to the mixed salad and more avocado would go a long way

I love Susanne's! I'm a vegetarian, and last time I came here I ordered a Veggie Rueben with tomatoes instead of meat - it was so good I thought about this sandwich for a year until I could come back to Gig Harbor and have it again!! Super cute place with nice coffee and patio, pesto pasta is great as well 👍

Saying we love this bakery is an understatement!! Their products are fresh, baked right there, and above all delicious!They have really good products. My favorite thing to get is their freshly pressed orange juice, especially in the summer!

Great service, good food-pastries are tasty with flavor without being overly sweet. The savory scone was light and fluffy.The tuna salad sandwich had light mayonnaise with a hint of tang. The bread was fresh.Great place!

This was the only coffee shop opened until 4 pm. The Cappuccino was very aromatic and hot. We tried the chocolate mousse cake and strawberry shortcake. Both are good but the chocolate mousse was little too heavy for my personal taste. The outdoor seating space was very relaxing and peaceful.

Great local bakery. Delicious baked goods/pastries, great coffee, great sandwiches for lunch. Try their pasta salad on the side. My favorite pastry is their morning glory Muffin. Nice patio in the warmer months. Only downside there is sometimes a long wait on weekends.

The raspberry scones were delicious! A lovely outdoor patio, no views of the harbor though. Coffee was good, mocha was not very chocolatey but good. Lots of people were ordering cakes, their cake orders were already full for the weekend so order far enough in advance.

This is neat homey little bakery with a lot to offer in sweets and a diverse menu of home goodies to make this the perfect little lunch stop as a through traveler or tourist! The staff here are incredibly firebrand and are very helpful!

Wow wow wow! This was my first time visiting Susanne's Bakery. It is small and quaint but has big flavor! They make their eclairs in the traditional French style with both cream and custard. It's one of the best I have ever tasted! The chocolate mousse cake is divine with a silky texture and intense chocolate flavor. I also got a cinnamon roll. They are fluffy and soft and also one of the best I've found in town so far! I will definitely return for my Pastry needs and desires. Oh, and their croissants looked absolutely amazing but I did not get one this time. So I'll be back! It's a must try if you are in the area.

Heard good things, so finally tried. Asked if they had any bread, they said yes, French bread also grabbed what I was told was biscotti. What I got was wheat bread 😖and Nature Valleys oats and honey granola in the shape of biscotti. Not sure if the disception was from owner with literally no labeling of products or the untrained staff. When someone says they have French bread, you assume white French bread. Won't be going back.

I’ve been coming here for years. The pesto is always delicious and never dry. The fried egg sandwich always is wonderful as well. The coffee is great. Cinnamon rolls are a special treat, in addition to the amazing strawberry cake. Supporting small businesses is also great. Highly recommend this place!

Sad to see a place like this going down hill. Baked goods are 5 stars, but service is not par. My wife put in an order for baked goods and the red headed girl serving her at the register threw her receipt away while staring at my wife and skipped over her to the next customer. This happened for no reason and is still baffling to us, we have no idea who this girl is and what her problem with us was. My wife had paid and another gentlemen working the front noticed she was still there and got her the items eventually. This was our first outing after childbirth and my wife did not need some little red headed ***** being mean to her. Plenty of other good bakeries around that have nice people working in them. We will not be back.

Love this bakery. But let me clear, I've only eaten two of their bakery items in the many times I've been here. A friend bought a birthday cake here and it was good. I never eat frosting, so I can't speak to its sweetness, but others stated it was not overly sweet. I have also bought their Morning Glory muffins. Those are amazing! I have returned on multiple occasions to buy them again. But for all the bakery items they have, my favorite reasons for going to Susanne's are their lunches. Their sandwiches and soups are always good. And on a nice summer day, their seating area beneath the grapevines provides shade and surrounds you with a touch of nature.
