Loved going here but ever since they hired some new lady for nights its been a pain going here. She constantly is standing right behind me and my fiance even if other costumers need her help. She never says anything to us like have a good day only a one in a while "have you scanned that?". I understand she needs to do her but she just seems to think we're always stealing. Would've reported her to HR but haven't seen her name tag to put in a report .

Longest grocery line in my entire life. Just two lines and about 10 carts in each one 😩😩😩. Apparently they are trying to force everyone into self checkout. Time to find a new store!

This Safeway is always clean and organized. There is outdoor seating with permanent tables. It's perfect if you'd like to have a meal from the deli, or a starbucks coffee. In addition, the indoor seating is open again (post covid mandate distancing).Fueling station located here, plus ePlug for electric cars just on the other side of the parking lot. This is great for travelers taking a break. Not all Safeways have an outdoor seating area.

I love Safeway cause the staff is so nice and the meat market people are sweet hearts and so are some of the cash regster people there's welichair access and parking there are 3 welichair that are moteriz. It is nice for quick shops and long ones. They have almost everything just not clothes😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😄😄😄😄😄💩💓💓💓💓💞💞💞💞👍👍👍👍👍👍💜

I purchase flowers here quite frequently. The care and attention to detail I received from Chelsea yesterday was, by far, the best ever. She's quite skilled and she goes the extra mile to ensure your flower order is prepped exactly right. She deserves a big pat on the back.

Love this safeway. The bakery is always on point. Have used the gift department once and they were friendly but found it off putting that they were having full blown conversation in front of me while I waited.The store seems well managed. Usually only come in the AM early before work.

“Buy four boxes of cereal to get the normal price of one!”That was it for me. I'll go to Costco and deal with the bulk instead of whatever you call your pricing model. Your produce is as bad as a military commissary.

This Safeway feels clean and organized. The staff are friendly, and the displays are very well organized.Safeway does a great job with their deli case and their grab-n-go meals. This location is no exception: ample options and reasonable prices if you're in a hurry for a meal.

Very clean store. Cashier was very helpful with the electronic coupon situation. It was my first time using this system and service.Prices are still high compared to other grocery stores around the area. So check out Safeway's electronic coupon. It may save you a dollar or two.

This is our local supermarket and We were absolutely saddened & disgusted on Thanksgiving 2023!!!I can't believe that corporate Safeway would be open with "regular" hours today. Absolutely horrible for their image and worse for the poor employees that cannot even spend THIS day with their own families. Even trying to say they get overtime pay is Not an excuse. They should have closed about 2pm give us a break Safeway.

Always friendly staff, at seafood, produce and checkout counters. Very clean restrooms - they are maintained better than any Safeway I have been in, EVER. Good sale prices. Regularly shop here and so thankful Safeway is back in Gig Harbor.

Big store, very clean. It was difficult to find the liquor section because it's tucked in the back corner, behind the other aisles and no signage that we could see. Also, we had a 92.00 total that included over 10.00 in tax. Ridiculously expensive store. So much more expensive then my regular safeway.

I am a regular Safeway shopper in the Kitsap area, but in comparison this location is very quiet and barely any shoppers. The funny part is it's bigger than most locations and not even busy it's almost eerily weird in comparison to the Kitsap stores. At the self checkout lady was very helpful and nice. The staff in the store are very attentive to their customers.

The customers in this store made me feel awkward they seemed extra stuffy but the staff where exceptionally great, Chris was my checker and I enjoyed conversing him! Your a gem Chris! and I also scored some really good discounts in the meat section. Great deli and bakery. Two thumbs up.

I was doing an instacart order and had a map of the store pulled up showing what aisle specific things are in. Well that failed big time!! I don’t know what Safeway was thinking, but if they said I needed was on aisle 2 it would end up being down aisle 3 or 4. Then there was the matter of their shelves being really bare. I had to either substitute a lot of the items or refund them. I don’t know what is going on with their freight deliveries, but they are being let down somewhere. A lot of these grocery stores are!!

Safeway is my go to grocery store in Gig Harbor. I can usually find everything I am looking for there. The meat is very good and the butchers are very helpful. My only complaint is produce, I think they could do a better job with the freshness of the produce.

They have everything you'd expect at a grocery store (aside from issues with stocking recently likely due to shipping issues faced all over). Friendly staff, great selection of wine and ciders! Only issue I have is that it can be a struggle to find good produce, depending on the day.

Since the stay at home order we have been using the grocery pick up service. We have been very impressed with the efficiency of the service and how wonderful the employees are who deliver the groceries to our car. Thanks for all your doing to keep us fed and healthy. You're doing an amazing job!

Amazing Staff, always helpful, we've gotten to know so many. We love the pharmacy staff, Ken the pharmacist is so fast and Bill is just the best. We only go when they are working because they don't mess around. Some say it will be a hour so we stick with the ones that are curtious and fast no matter how busy they are. We love our Gig Harbor Safeway!

Cashier Leslie always has a smile and provides friendly, professional service!4/4/22: It's still tough everywhere to have things in stock, but Safeway is doing as good as anyone else. Still great service. Oscar was very helpful recently and I'm happy to see Leslie still working here.

As a florist we would never do this but the service and attitude of the staff here is horrendous and needs to be mentioned. I wish 0 star was an option because that's what they would have gotten. We had sent them an order last week for a delivery on 2/17 for which they asked for an extension till 2/19. We even approved that. On 2/19 we get a rejection saying they do not have the flowers. I even said we were willing to do an all white basket the employee was extremely rude and said you know we are a very busy shop and I am going to hang up on you now. That's the service at this place. Arrogant and disrespectful

Everything I come I here there is always a huge line at the deli and one person servicing a long line. It's turned me off from getting anything from there a few times now. Finally came in when there is just 1 person in line and the one person is going at a molasses pace. I finally get to my turn she's rude, short, and acts as if she doesn't want to be here. I doubt I will ever come back to this deli again.

The lady at the pharmacy is really rude. Big sign says walk ins welcome for vaccines. Monday morning my wife and I walk in for flu shot. Only one person in the shot area. She sail it would be 1 1/2 hour wait. You must be in your seat for all this time. Can I shop? No you must be in your seat.“That is the rule. Make an appointment.” Really, this is walk ins welcome. Rude not welcoming.

It was okay. Were missing some items I wanted, and several employees were improperly wearing masks. They also didn't have wipes or anything at the entrance to wipe down you carts, but they did have the carts separated by sanitized and not(guess we just gotta hope it was really done) might give a better ranking if I ever choose/need to return and things have improved

Very nice store, friendly staff. However don’t expect “Safeway prices”. Everything here is expensive. We use it for convenience items, but sometimes drive a distance to other, cheaper, stores.
