Second time here, just moved to the area and ventured out for some thing to have on the road. Pleasantly started with the extra clean environment in the little shop, the donuts are so pretty you don’t even want to eat them you wanna take pictures of them😵‍💫😅 anyway the flavors and the consistency of the donuts are the best I’ve had! Perfect sizes as well. Sometimes donut shops give you this huge donut and it’s full of air and it’s just too much. These are a little more dense, but chewy and the perfect size. I love the colorful pieces of art, and they are just divine! Great customer service too! So sweet the staff is. Also they have homemade decadent ice cream that is beyond me! Really unique flavors just like their donuts like lavender and things like that. I can’t say enough about this place. by the way, it’s a small shop so a few people fit in there at the same time but it’s plenty of room if it’s not crowded. Here’s a pic of the two we got, vanilla bean and chocolate, there are many unique flavors available. Just talking about it I think I have to go there this morning😂

I highly recommend donuts 🍩 . And there ice cream was so delicious. Specially Black sesame and hojicha I recommend. The sweetness was amazing. You can pick up your order from Seattle fish guys location from Seattle too . Freshly made products 😍

Good enough donuts. Good variety but I have had better ones for the similar price. I wouldn’t give it even 4 stars. Coffee is just a rip off. $7.50 for a 16oz Latte with 3 shots? That’s outrageous. How would you justify that? Coffee was ok, a 3 star only. On top of that once I paid for it the screen showed me tip options- seriously?? Are you kidding me? It’s not a dine-in & you are just doing your job. Why do you need a tip on a $7.50 coffee? Ridiculous! How can you ask for a 20% tip on a carry out coffee?? This place doesn’t even have seating arrangement inside.

Actually disgusting. I was so disappointed because the reviews are good and I'm new here and LOVE mochi donuts but this was beyond gross. Idk how someone thinks this is actual mochi donuts. The only possible excuse could be that they were several days old and stale. Our milk drink was also cuddling upon pickup. It's so expensive and then so terrible. Negative stars if possible. I paid a lot of money for trash.

I have now developed a palate for boujee mochi donuts and top of the line coffee heaven! I drive 30 minutes and pay the toll on the way back just for these tasty morsels. My favorites are the sugar, maple bacon, and glazed mochi but for more adventurous palates the blueberry lavender or strawberry rose should suffice. I don’t want to ruin you for other donuts but this review just may drive you to so.Side note: I lived in Portland and this is better then voodoo IMO.

I just went in @ 1130 Friday Dec 21. Got a dozen donuts and 3 boba drinks. The manager literally nearly offered me a job because i said id want to work in such a fun place. i love this place. Everyone is beyond happy to work there. The foods amazing and its such a creative space.Vegetarian options: They have a maple bacon donut but you can absolutely get it without baconKid-friendliness: Manager was very very kind with the little boy ordering in front of me with his mom

Stopped here on the way to Olympic National Park. Small shop in a small mall just north of the Narrows bridge with very friendly and welcoming employees. Lemon fruity pebbles yeast donut was fresh and had a great lemon flavor while green tea mochi donut wasn't as pronounced in flavor and the texture was not my favorite, though this is what the place is known for. Coffee was similar to Starbucks in bitterness. Would go back to try their other yeast donut flavors.

What a hidden gem in the area. I do not go to Gig Harbor often, but trying to find a good donut place is few and far between. This was my first experience trying a mochi style donut and it was amazing. Extremely recommend the raspberry flavor it has a lot of punch to it. The fritter was fabulous, I haven't seen a place in the Seattle/Tacoma area do one better.

Yes, you do need a mochi donut! If not for the unique experience, then possibly for the soothing shape, delicious flavors and rice-based recipe. Try the coffee doughnut with a few sprinkles of coffee on the surface. It’s delicious. The traditional & raised donuts are awesome as well. The old-fashioned sells out as do the bear claws. Get excellent Olympia coffee or a Boba tea to go with it and don’t forget to buy ice cream to take home. Ski lift is my favorite flavor! Then, Ube Oreo and old-fashioned vanilla bean. Oh ! There’s also a savory rice based hot snack occasionally available! The owner is frequently right there working hard and has a new location recently opened near the Space Needle. Everything is fresh and wholesome. Highly recommended!

Don't think I ever planned a vacation around food before. Found out about this place from a FB Southern Idaho Foodies page. Even though I am Japanese, I had never heard of mochi donuts. Well, my curiosity was peaked and since I had a layover in Seattle, I decided to stay in Gig Harbor overnight (another 1st) and check this place out. So glad I did.I got the mochi sugar, glazed, caramel and chocolate donuts. Told the gal out front, that I came all the way from Idaho for these donuts. She was so nice to put them in a box and gave me extra individual bags so I could pack them up in my suitcase - and yes, they survived the trip home. The owner, Sun, came out and upon learning about my situation, he made a blueberry mochi donut for me. Got a large coffee to go and I was all set. The coffee (Olympia Coffee) was outstanding and another big plus.Sun said he had the shop for a year and a half, so that meant his shop was relatively new when covid hit. So, glad he is doing well. I loved the Gig Harbor area and if I was a younger lass, I would consider moving there. But, this old gal only has so many moves left in her so I'll have to settle for another vacation. After telling my brother and sister-in-law about my time there - they are ready to go back with me.Wish we had mochi donuts near Meridian, ID, but alas - no. So, will have to settle for mochi donuts in my dreams.

At first I wasn’t going to try the mochi donut but I’m glad I did! It’s less chewy than regular mochi and still had that nice fried donut taste. The ube flavor was also a good refreshing choice

I can not rave enough about this place. I got their chai tea - with marshmallow syrup. Could honestly be the best chai I’ve had. We got to try 4 different mochi donuts - horchata, watermelon, cookies & cream, and strawberry rosé. Such great flavors and that is the order I rank them too! I can’t wait to go back and try other flavors. Great customer service too!

The mochi donuts are the best I’ve ever had. We were so impressed by the unique flavors: pandan, horchata, everything donut (SO good!), raspberry, blueberry, and lemon (that was just the right amount of tartness and sweet). The pandan one brought me back to my childhood. Well done! We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Was fortunate enough to get their donuts at their pop up today at the university village. First one in line and when I opened the box I was amazed of the look of the donuts! I tried them when I got home and they were amazing! A bit sweet like other Mochi donuts however the flavors were delicious and flavorful! Their matcha has been the strongest matcha flavor of all the Mochi donuts I’ve tried! I’d definitely come back!

The Apple Fritters are the best I’ve ever had. They are light and don’t have the deep fried flavor. The lavender mochi were delicious. Lots of flavors to chose from. Friendly service.

Delicious! I tried the ube mochi donut from Metropolitan Market so I stopped into the Gig Harbor location after a haircut. I’ll be back! They have such fun flavors and the donuts are delicious. If you haven’t tried mochi donuts yet put this place on your to do list. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Selection of doughnuts was plentiful and delicious. Just a little too sweet for mochi donut options. Store was really small and only 2 people at a time. When coffee machine is running, cashier cannot hear your order, which makes it more annoying. A little too pricey for the doughnuts.
