We went to michaels today. They started putting up their Halloween/ Thanksgiving decorations. We are waiting for their sale signs to go up to buy some of their items.It is a great store to purchase decorations throughout the year and for each holiday. They also have a few baking aisles, crafts, drawing/ painting supplies. They also have " back to school " decorations. Always neat to walk through that store.

The staff are always lovely and the store was in great condition. Nice displays and so forth, easy to park. My only complaint would be that their yarn selection is a bit lax. I felt like I only really had two choices when looking for a suitable sweater yarn. They have a nice assortment of the hottest knitting books though.

The cashier was so amazing and sweet. I really think that their customer service is 5 stars. The store has gone down in the quality of their items, but they cost more than the more quality things they've sold in the past. The carts, checkout, and aisles are all so small that if the store is busy at all it's uncomfortable to shop. The environment makes one feel rushed and hurried. I think that it is best to shop at the small local shops.

This store has a great selection even though it is a bit smaller. Don't forget to check out their clearance aisle. It's the 1st aisle on the far left side of the store.

Went the Sunday after Black Friday which was my bad. Store was wiped out with no staff. Went to framing and stood around (one person had an appointment). Had to find a staff member to find out the person had called off. Probably should have just thrown in the towel for the day

Awesome place to find great pieces for jewelry making and they are always having great sales! Love this place, staff is nice and store is pretty well organized.

I called and asked if they offered dry mounting and if they had the materials in stock. They said yes so I made the long drive from Port Orchard. When I got there, they said it would take a week and they would call me. A week went by and I heard nothing. So I waited a few extra days and called and they told me the job hadn't started yet because they were waiting on materials. So they didn't have what they needed even though they said they did. I agreed to wait yet another week. Was promised a call when finished. 8 days went by - no call - so I called them and they said my job was done. Drove all the way over there and after 20 minutes of messing around they came out and told me the job hadn't even started yet. So I wasted gas on the drive over twice for nothing. I got my money back and took my art somewhere else. Buyer beware. Nobody that worked there seemed to have a clue about what they were doing.

A quite place to shop. Very clean and packed with all sorts of treasures and items to make your crafting special and memorable. Oh yeah, at a reasonable price too. 🙂The staff are friendly and helpful.

Seems like there is a high turnover rate for the staff and never enough people working. I would consider paying the employees more in order to retain them. It would make staff and customers happier and save the company in the long run. Just a thought.

Love their selection of yarn. They always have great coupons and in store deals. Huge variety of crafts for all types of crafting. Very organized and clean shelves. Very helpful staff. I always enjoy my trips there and always find something I didn't know I needed to have. Very affordable prices. Love that they do classes and parties there.

Awful! Use to go here but seems like store has gotten worse. Especially framing shop. Took prints in to get framed - cut mats wrong twice and still waiting!!! It has been three months!!! No excuses!! Don't get framing done here.

They now have a giant " Support Trans" sign right when you walk in the door. Who knew that Michael's would also be controlled by the Satanic NWO. I walked in and right back out. I will shop at Hobby Lobby from now on.

There are so many boxes that needed to be stocked in the aisles it was a fire hazard. Didnt have anything I was looking for. Just a horrible experience trying to shop for just simple craft items. Love Michael’s but this manager needs to do better before someone gets hurt!!

Like the many other Michael's I've been to regarding layout and item selection. We were greeted at the door when we came, which is something I don't get often. An employee offered to help us find what we were looking for and the cashier was friendly. One of our items was missing its tag, but between the cashier and one of the floor staff, they had it sorted quicker than it took to finish ringing up all our other items.

I can usually find what I'm looking for and the staff are helpful.They have a lot of sales and there is almost always some sort of coupon or discount you can use.The framing department did a wonderful job of framing a print for me and looked for ways to get the price down with a discount.

Do not get anything framed here. After several weeks of back and forth and approving one frame just to have it arrive differently I was told it would be fixed to what I requested, then waited weeks after being told my would only be a few days I was told they were waiting on a shipment order, then told it was never ordered. Once my picture was completed I went to pick it up and was still not what I had asked for, but due to having already gone back and forth for weeks I just decided to take it and be done. Then today, I was finally unwrapping and hanging my picture. To realize it had been ripped in the framing process, and was not told about it at any point throughout my interactions with them.

This is my go-to store for craft supplies. The staff is friendly, but it can be hard to find a roving staff member to answer questions. They have a rather large selection of fake flowers and other home decor for a crafting store, but there are plenty of craft supplies as well. Keep an eye out for their sales and clearance events!

I needed to return something I bought on-line that was kind of a complicated issue, and the manager, Donna, could not have been more helpful. She made phone calls to customer service and handled the whole transaction quickly and efficiently, with no hassle for me. Great customer service!

To the guy in framing at the Gig Harbor store. you are not helpful at all. When I come to you asking for items I know you have and for custom framing help and you tell me to "shop on Amazon" Yea, I am no longer interested. BTW you could take lessons from the guy in the Silverdale store. He was amazing, helpful and got my picture done!

Michaels in Gig Harbor has 75% of their isles blocked with unboxed merchandise. Isles that were impassable. I mention to clerk, she told me to complain to corporate. She also didn’t ask if I had a coupon, when I mentioned it she told me it had already gone through. Very displeased customer
