Very helpful when it comes to pet nutrition! The people working there, who I believe are the owner's, are very passionate about what they do. By far the best experience I've had at a pet store! They had so many healthy pet food options and even gave me a bunch of free dog food samples to take home for my fur baby to try out!

Great experience! First time in. Sales girl is welcoming and helpful. The gentleman who I believe owns this business was very personable and knowledgeable. It is a small, low key store with a lot of great natural based products. I will drive the extra distance to shop here no problem. Thank you!

It is like you grandparents store. I forgot what brand we get because Ken always shops. Grabbed a bag I thought it was, and was politely reminded of the correct dog food. Love this.

Tucked away inside a quaint little patch of trees there is an adorable pet shop just waiting to be discovered.While on a recent trip to Tacoma for a trade show, we explored the beautiful little town of Gig Harbor Washington. A few years back, while attending a similar trade show, we had met a nice gentleman who owned a pet store called Green Cottage Pets. Since that day it has been on our bucket list to visit his shop. We were not disappointed. A more genuine experience isn't possible. Both Tom and Anna were so kind and passionate about their business. It was like walking into their home. They even stayed over an hour after closing to visit with us.If you find yourself near Gig Harbor be sure to discover this genuine jewel. Very friendly and informative. We were about to adopt a.new puppy and had questions on food. The wonderful lady who helped us was knowledgeable and gave good advise. The selection of both food and other items for pets was very good. The only negative and reason for only 4 stars is the higher prices for everything. But it is a speciality store and locally owned.

I thought it would be more expensive. It's not. Service is great. They really care about your pet and offer so many suggestions you can't find from an online store. From fitting our dogs w correct harness, to giving samples of the foods or treats to make sure your pet likes it. Super friendly and knowledgeable❤️❤️❤️

We love Green Cottage Pets! With Tom's guidance & professional knowledge, we were able to get Mac on a healthy dog food that significantly cleared up his skin & fur condition he had. Not only does Mac love his food now, I believe, we were spared a Vet bill! He also loves his healthy treats! So glad we found this place! 🐶

This is a great little pet store. If you can't find anything for your dog or cat you weren't trying lol The staff is compassionate about animals and are very knowledgeable about what treats and good each type should be eating. Unique toys and treats.

I love this store! They carry the only food my bullie can tolerate (allergies) and the proprietors are THE kindest people ever! It’s cozy and personal and feels a bit like a mini retreat going in there.

I can honestly say I have never been treated so rudely in my life. My daughter wears orthotic braces and can't walk far. I parked in a downtown spot that had two signs posted. One indicated it was for the nearby shopping area the other for green cottage pet parking. I returned to my car to find it blocked in by an owner of this shop. I am not a confrontational person. I immediately apologized, tried to explain my confusion. He refused to move and continued to yell at me. Despite my many apologizes I could not de-escalate his anger towards me. I finally decided I was going to need to call the police. As I pulled my phone out he finally drove away. He really scared my young daughter. I would not recommend this pet shop to anyone.
