We like this place before it turned into an expensive junk store now free got more expensive, there’s no restrooms. When I go to Tacoma at my age I need a place that has restrooms available just incase, I picked this place for that convenience and I like to shop for various things video’s is my first stop, now they have double the price so I can still get them cheaper than here, after that disappointment, and the untidiness of the store I gave up and left to never return, because I think they will not survive long as I notice it also was not crowded like it used to be, people can buy new for just pennies more. Well they say prices are higher but they got it free. It’s probably the whole Goodwill Chapter that has tested use and I’m not buying this.

10/10 would NOT recommend this Goodwill. Overpriced, understaffed, stuffed to the gills with stuff to the point clothes are strewn everywhere. Disorganized so bad you can't find anything. Broken hangers just hanging out. Crowded. If they lowered the prices on the goods they get for free they could probably move more if it, hire more workers, open their donation center back up, and have a much better store.

The most apathetic Goodwill staff I've ever encountered. I watched the donation staff do absolutely nothing to help 2 disabled seniors in a row unload. They seemed irritated to answer any questions. I worked as a truck driver for Northwest Goodwill and I can tell you this behavior is extremely abnormal.

No restrooms for customers. High prices. And No CHANGING ROOMS. Just a mirror in the men's department. 🤦🏻‍♀️ They want you to buy it and take it home to try on. And if it doesn't fit, they keep your money and give you store credit! Dumbest Goodwill I've ever been to.

Easy donation drop off. Unfortunately the older man taking donations today was extremely rude. He was condescending and sarcastic to my teen son. There was one car in front of us unloading and I asked my son to get the suitcases out and roll them up there. Well, he told my son that they would hope we knew how to read and follow the signs and drive up. We were the next in line...maybe 10 feet from the tent. Then he said, we don't take walk ups. So I pull my car up, I get out and I roll in the suitcases and he asks how I am. I looked at him and said he didn't need to be so rude. He said oh well don't let it ruin your day. He didn't apologize, he smirked. And said oh see you're letting it ruin your day.I did call and speak to the manager Carly, who was very apologetic and understanding.I won't stand for mistreatment and rudeness for children especially. You can do your job with kindness.

This location is my fav they r great with the tag sales and much more fair on pricing when it comes to clothes. However the customer service is always absolutely terrible and they should be ashamed of profiling people because they r in the high n mighty gig harbor! If you look under 50 your automatically a low life according to these people. Even though port orchard goodwill is the same. The people who work here just never seem to enjoy life in retail I have never seen a friendly employee. But lts chalk full of product.Sheets and linens blankets: high priceElectronics: mid to high price. Some extremely low.Luggage: low priceHousehold goods: a mix. Trinkets n kitchenware r low to medium price and things like lamps and coffee pots are a bit high.Clothing and shoes : perfectly priced especially when concentrating soley on tag sales. Lately a bit high but mostly low priced. Children's clothing the 8-12 range boys are insanely high but when u dig u can find.Furniture: slim to none especially with comparison yo most other places.

The hours are incorrect on Google, and not posted outside the store.Got there at 7 and doors were locked even though it says they close at 8.

1st time here, very clean and organized. Items were priced fair and staff was very professional. Diffenately coming to visit again. This lamp was priced at $5.99 and was red tag so got it at $.99!

You’re better off buying from Amazon, it’s cheaper than this Goodwill. Our donations are being sold at a ridiculous price for profit. Shame on them.

I thought the store looked like a junk yard, stuff everywhere and so unorganized. Looks like no one is running the show

I've shopped thrift stores for years and years. I think that if I'm shopping at your store, you better have a restroom available. It's really irritating to have to leave the store when my sis says, I've gotta go now. I suggested to the young worker. Start charging if you can't afford to hire enough people.

DisappointingUsed to be an awesome store - but not so much anymore. The prices are high and they closed the fitting rooms. They ship donations off to a central location, and then get their inventory shipped back to them; so you are NOT shopping or donating locally. They have also shifted to more of the new cheap/ low quality items, so not so great for the environment either. It seems they get more selective on donations every day. I had a camping cot, in use-able condition that they rejected - the one guy said it was "too big" the other pointed to a spot where it was frayed and said the condition was unacceptable. It's actually a lot of trouble to check the website "yes they want camping gear!" drive your stuff down there, wait in the donation line watching each car unload items one by one (they no longer help you, apparently are just there to scrutinize) then finally have to drive the rejected item(s) back home. It used to be they were just happy to get donations, so accepted the worn along with the like new. If I am bringing usable items that are on their list of accepted things, I don't want to have to second guess whether they're good enough or small enough or ....?

One of the most price gauged stores. I find some ok things there sometimes

Ok so first off, my low star rating is strictly due to their insane pricing. The same nerf guns, that sell brand new for $30-40 and that can be found at other goodwills between $3-8 are being marked at $27? But then there are other ones marked reasonably. And it is like this for a lot of the items. It's like there is one employee working there that has absolutely no idea the resale value of used items. Secondly, for being such a small store it is packed with items. Every shelf and rack is overflowing which I can appreciate. Nothing better than finding a great treasure buried among the duds lol. Lastly, employees are great. Super friendly, super helpful. Would give this store 5 stars easy if they would take the pricing gun away from the rogue employee.

Coming from the Midwest I was shocked at the ridiculous price gouging at this location. The store is clean but clothing selection was very small. I’m not really one to leave bad reviews, but I felt it was necessary after the employee at checkout was scrolling on her phone while checking out my items. Overall, they have some nice kitchenware but that’s about it.

It is not the best Goodwill in the area that is for sure. What is frustrating about shopping Goodwill in an area with dozens is that there is no consistency with pricing. They're either astronomical or reasonable. This one is on the high side, some of the things are just stupid outrageous. It is VERY full, a big disorganized and messy. I get really stressed looking at clothes there so I try to avoid this store all together if I'm looking for clothing. It gets more Target items than other neighboring stores so it is worth stopping into for that, but it is not my favorite location.

Bathrooms still closed, since lock down over 2 years. smelly shoe section. I am surprised by this store, it's in a good area, it should be better then this. Im not coming back.

Prices were really high. Some pricing was ridiculous. When items are 100% free.Store needed to be put back in order. Items on floor, hanging off shelves, stacked on each or couldn't see what was there.Store use to be neat and orderly.

My Daughter had to go to the bathroom real bad and it's employees only. In this whole plaza 4 places had no public bathrooms. This was outrageous.

Cashier was extremely rude when I asked if he would please turn down the loud radio they have blasting everyone at the entrance. That's an indication of bad management. Dressing rooms and restrooms are CLOSED! Seriously? Prices are very high compared to other store locations. Also what's with printing the words of the colors but not the *actual color* on the tags??! I've never encountered this anywhere, and it seems designed to fool customers so that we can't actually find the sale tag items. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

I've been coming to this store since it opened. I am very much of a thrift shopper. But in the last year or so, they reorganized the store, hiked up the prices, and the clothing section is miserable now. Allow me to elaborate: I am not a small gal. The plus sized section used to be clearly marked and on the left hand side of the clothing area. The size markers on the rack separated the 1x, 2x, 3x, etc etc. Pants were separated as size 18, 20, 22, 24, etc..... since they rearranged, the plus size area has moved and is not clear. You have to hunt for it. ..over in the middle right of the clothing racks. Shirts now have a very small marker that basically clumps all the 2x, 3x, 4x and up together. So you have to hunt and look at all the labels. You find something you like...oops thats a 4x and i need 2x. or vice versa. Plus sized pants are now 18+, so as you go through the rack...you might be looking for size 20 for example. You get something like 18, 22, 18, 24, 20, 20, 24, 18, 18, 22 and so on. They don't bother sorting the sizes and its been like this over a year...yet all the "non-plus" sizes are clearly marked. The Port Orchard store is so much better! Or any of the Tacoma locations or Silverdale. I got so frustrated last night I vowed never to go back, though its always been my favorite time-killing haunt when my son has sports practice and I used to always easily find things. I won't go back, and I will tell my plus-sized friends to avoid it as well, and exactly why. (Though some have already told me they have the same issue. I will encourage them to mention it here for sure.) The store is also quite messy and disorganized. I'm done with GIg Harbor Goodwill.

The store is clean but the book section needs to be better organized. The reason Im giving it 2 stars is due to the donation drive up. I always call and they state their donations are up to 5pm but everytime I try to drop off they have it blocked saying theyve reached their capacity for the day, before its the cutoff time. Ive even gone early right after lunchtime and theyve had it blocked off.If they want people to take their time and gas to come donate, they should accept donations between the hours they advertise. Ive wasted muliple trips and gas with this problem. Management should make sure they have workers there during donation hours that can accept up until 5pm everyday as it states on their recorded line!

Always a wonderful place to stay. A quiet and relaxing environment with easy drives to historic sites, casual and elegant dining, the National Park and wildlife refuge at mountain and sea. Every room has a wonderful view.

Prices have jumped quite a bit and they have started making bundle of utensils, and misc items then charge a higher amount. Not good if you need a label and have to buy a bag of utensils that you don't need for $7.99

The selection of men's clothes is not very big. I didn't see a lot of great tools or housewares and overall, the prices are higher then I'm used to seeing at Goodwill.

Lots of clothes and have found good name brands at decent prices for myself and my teenage sons. But they charge quite a bit for any Pyrex or Milkglass the do happen to have. The book area is small, but decent and good prices, especially if you buy 10 of a kind. Mostly friendly and helpful service
