I got so much love for my GH Boat Works Jersey Skiff. I've had two of these. Still have one. Every time I go out I get a compliment about it. She's got great lines and people see it. They know by the look of her that she moves gracefully and with confidence. I've taken mine down the Mississippi River twice, she's been hauled up and down beaches, taken rough hits to rocks, hell some nit wit threw an M-80 in her when she was resting on my trailer once and she's taken it all in stride. Not only does she move at a steady easy pace but she can handle very rough waves...more than I really care to handle and I've been in some big ones. The sliding seat is silent and sturdy and that is just some magic. (not magic, just a great design). She can handle up to four passengers (one rower) or two rowers and one passenger (maybe two if they are small). I take her crabbing, take people on a rowing tour, and camp with her on the Puget Sound every summer. The GHBW crew are smart, thoughtful, kind, and have great solutions and ideas. They make a fabulous product and its become a big part of my life.

Just bought a Melonseed row boat from Northwest Maritime Center. The boat appears to be just beautiful! It was built new in around June 2023. The problem is the trailer it came with! I’m guessing Gig Harbor Works assembled the trailer? The rollers on the trailer for the keel were tightened down hard without washer spacers. So the wheels wouldn’t turn! None of the supports or wheels aligned correctly! I’m able to correct this, but what a bone head job!
