If I could give this vet 0 stars I would. If you own a reactive dog, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. They are quick to judge the dog as aggressive, do not have compassion towards the owners and do not give out important information regarding medications and reactions to them and when you call them out, they don’t own up to it, apologize and are very passive. I’ve been traumatized because of an incident that could’ve been prevented if they would have informed us correctly.

My cat was losing hair on her bottom,had a sore on her side of the mouth, and some black stuff on her chin. I took her to a different vet first, and they just said she was allergic to fleas, and the black stuff was flea dirt. So I took her here and Dr. Synder really took the time to look over my cat. The black stuff was cat acne. The sore, possibly from the plastic plates, and she tried steroid shots for the hair loss. They explained everything before they did it and even gave the prices for each item. On the recheck, we decided to try a special food to see if it helped with the hair loss. You can directly order it from their pharmacy, which makes life so much easier. I love how much the staff listens to you and really cares about your fur babies. It is on the more pricey side, but it is worth it, and you can choose the optional treatments and see the prices. My baby is doing so much better, and it was worth it. Staying with Brookside because they truly care.

I have five dogs. (I know it’s a lot but we have a large property) Three of them are under 2 years and the other are 11 and 8 years old. I moved to the area and we had a phenomenal vet where we used to live. My standards are very high. So far two of the puppies have been spayed and the 8 year old had a tone of dental work. Every experience has been really great. My 11 year old was diagnosed with Lyme disease. She’s had it for 8 years but her previous vets heartworm test didn’t check for Lyme. I cannot express my gratitude for the diagnosis. It’s an automatic test here along with heartworm. She’s had such joint pain and neurological problems we thought we related to age. There’s a complete turn around with her. I saw the post on a reactive dog. My 11 year old hates the vet. I always muzzle her for bloodwork or anything I can’t be with her. She came back without a muzzle after bloodwork. The staff was so comfortable with her and she did fine. I will say the price point is high. If that’s unattainable for you I don’t know what they offer for payment plans. I am willing to pay for peace of mind knowing my five dogs have the best of care. This is my second review ever on Google if that tells you anything.

Omg— fast and friendly service. I called at 0800, and Gunny was seen at 0850. This is considered urgent care too! Gunny has his first wellness check on the 7th and I can’t wait to see how well they work with him. I haven’t been inside the facility but from the outside it look’s welcome. The five stars are for their quick services.

Apparently your dog is only as valuable as how much money you have and can hand over immediately. Aside from that they will charge your for test that are not necessary just to say they need more money. Go elsewhere.

Brookside vet is so compassionate and efficient. We called them on Monday at 10 AM with a cat health emergency and they were able to accommodate us. They quickly brought our cat in and helped him. I’m so appreciative of their hard work and the care they showed my pet.

Thank you to Dr. Megan, Kathy and Matti who treated our dog, Cubby with compassion. I read positive reviews about Brookside which is why I called them on Tues, Mar 26. Cubby had liver andkidney damage and had to be put down. The heart felt care and love demonstrated by the staff mentioned above for our Cubby was honorable. Thank you so much. Priscilla

Just had a wonderful experience with Brookside Veterinary Hospital. They have new urgent care hours on Monday and Fridays 8a-4p. We had a situation with my cat that was in the parameters of an urgent care visit.We were in and out within one hour! Got there just after 8am, left by 9. We are already an established client with them, so we didn’t have any paperwork to fill out. If you are not an established client with them, you will need to fill out paperwork.It was curbside, and I did get to conversate with the doctor and tech face to face. I had an estimate before they performed any procedures, aside from the physical exam.There is a $250 deposit upon arrival, but of course that deposit goes towards the bill, so I was a-okay with paying it.It was smooth and easy.I already knew Brookside was fantastic, but now they’re even better!

This was our first time coming to this clinic. The clinic was great with there customer service. Though, they still have some kind of COVID Protocol at this clinic. They leave you outside in your car or on the porch before they let you into the exam room. The Staff was very friendly and very helpful with information. We were there for a second set of shots for our new puppy and we decided to continue with this clinic because it's where the dog breeder took the litter for their first check up and set of shots. The downfall from this clinic was our pup is only 12 weeks old and when they took him to the back room for his shots and updated stuff we wanted him to have they came in 30 minutes later and told us that since the Dr. was in they decided to give him his rabies shot with no consent from us. BAD BUSINESS in my opinion with it being our first time using this clinic. So, we will not be back to this clinic or even recommend them. Make sure to watch them from up-charging you and being sneaky with giving shots to your animals without permission.

I cannot say enough great things about Brookside! Everyone I’ve met has been so empathetic to my boyfriend, our fur babies and I. The people there are fantastic! 💕We have a male cat that had a marking problem. They ran some tests and gave me really good advice on what I could do to help him. His quality of life has significantly improved and he is now one happy and healthy kitty!We’ve also brought in our male Corgi for a checkup and once for an emergency and they got him in right away and did a quick surgery. That was about two months ago and they are still checking up on him despite his healed wound. 😭💖Our female Corgi just got spayed yesterday and they have been so wonderful with her!Another thing I love about Brookside is the consistency! They are great at follow up calls and appointment reminders.

This is not a bad clinic. It’s just like the majority of the clinics out there…they do their jobs properly and make their money. I felt my dog was like a product on the assembly line… waiting to be inspected and sent off…. Did he get the care? Yes. But he was rushed out as well.Also, please compare the price of the prescription they give you on the Internet before buying from them. My experience is they are at least twice or even three times more expensive.

HANDS down the best vet eexperience ever. Ive had dogs all my life. Dr. Burch (a temp vet) was AMAZING!! She sat right down on the floor with Bailey and let him sniff her while we talked for a few mins before she started to work with him. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL to have found them. The tech was also awesome. Very kind- she listened and explained everything, provided estimates.GREAT place to go and has appointments available- It only took 3 days to get it.

They were great! I had an emergency with my dog where she sliced the front of her nose on metal roofing. They were very caring, explained everything and didn't even cost 1/2 of the original quote. Highly recommend them.

I’ve been going here for 10+ years. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. I’ve never felt pushed into treatments or tests I didn’t want or couldn’t afford. The doctors are amazing. I moved further way from keypen but I’ll keep making the drive for brookside and staff

I took my blue healer in a few years ago and he was treated so well, I love them. He saw Dr Lisa, she was so good with him, he loved her. A few days ago I took my Maltipoo in for a flea infestation, Dr Stacy was wonderful as was the rest of the staff. My pup too was extremely well cared for. The vet and staff answered all my questions and we're very kind , courteous, and didn't push me to do anything extra like other vets have in the past..

We live 40 miles from Brookside and choose to do as much of our dog's veterinary care there ​as we possibly can. Dr. Woods is a fantastic veterinarian! She is knowledge, current on research, compassionate, and treats pets and their families with skill and professionalism. The staff is equally as great. They all love our dog and our dog absolutely LOVES his trips to Brookside!

Edwin Happy is dating former employee, Derek. He wrote his review out of spite for Derek being fired. Brookside is a lovely clinic, the people are very well educated and do everything they can to prevent euthanasia, if possible. Thanks Brookside for being so great!
