Our family have used their grooming and boarding services. My small dog is a timid dog so his baths take longer than normal but the staff is always making sure my dog is comfortable and are always patient with him. My dog isn’t a fan of how loud the blow dryer is so they put an happy hoodie over his ears to make him comfortable. Also they always call me back the same day when I call to set up a boarding reservation . They have a small dog play yard and a big dog play yard and don’t charge extra for playtime like other places do. My sister in law has a chihuahua that does not do well in the kennel and they allowed her to be up at the front with them! Thank you Bayside Animal Lodge for always taking care of our babies.

Have taken our dog three times and he appears to really enjoy. He comes home and rests for a few hours. The staff is extremely pleasant and appears to be concerned with the well being of our dog. Have made new stay dates.

I took both my dogs in for grooming and they were both injured. My standard Poodle had razor burns on all 4 paws. One paw was still bleeding 3 days later. My Golden was cut on his paw from the wrong blade being used and is still limping and his paw is red and swollen over a week later. Robert did give me triple antibiotic ointment for the Golden but he was the one who told me the groomer used the wrong blade. These are our children who can’t tell us when they’ve been mistreated. I would never subject them to this businesses groomers again.

Bayside has been a godsend for our Akitas, Kuma and Ronin. They are big and rambunctious but board, get bathed, and are happy and well cared for at Bayside. We have a huge amount of gratitude for these people!

Staff actively listened to my concerns and addressed them all, making me comfortable that my Kenobi (8 mos kitten) with an irritated paw from surgery was well taken care of. Kristen was especially reassuring and went out of her way to make Kenobi secure AND she addressed his reddened paw (with my permission) with Colloidal Silver and intermittent use of the vet's plastic collar to keep him from licking. Oral meds were also given as prescribed. Kenobi stayed 3 nights and when I picked him up his paw looked 95% improved! I was very surprised and super pleased.~~ The only downside to Bayside is the noise factor. Daytimes, their grooming business is quite loud and can be disturbing and, of course, some of their boarded dogs will bark, as you would expect. I expect there are cats & dogs used to this and for them it's not a problem, others may be stressed or overwhelmed by the noise. Maybe they adjust quickly, I really don't know. Remediating the noise factor with some soundproofing would be potentially expensive, I would think, but it would provide a much improved and more calm environment.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Overall experience: Really excellent and recommended!Thanks to all of the caring staff, and very special thanks to Kristen for your kind words of concern and extra care to my kitten.~ Suzanne Riley October 15 - 18, 2021

Been coming here for 3+ yrs. now. Both my dogs Starr (a giant) & Finnegan (a nervous mini) are always cared for and loved by the staff. When we moved here cross country a few yrs. ago they received our dogs in transport very early am. into their care until we got here ourselves to bring them to their new home with us. I did a lot of research & tours before deciding on Bayside. You can tell the staff really cares & know your pets, plus it's a clean place too. Such peace of mind knowing our "kids" are safe and well cared for! Their groomers do a good job too esp. on my big furry girl Starr! Highly recommend Bayside as a wonderful caring place for your pets!!

Bayside Animal Lodge is the only boarding facility we will take our dogs to! The care and concern they show for the animals provides such peace of mind for us. Our dogs are always excited to get into the building and are always happy and relaxed when we pick them up. Robert and his team are wonderful and we never have a worry when our “kids” are at Bayside!

Love, love, love this place and so do our doggies!! They are great at grooming our Springer and our dogs enjoy being kenneled there. Last time we went to pick them up, one of them was trying to stay in the back with the staff for a bit longer because she loves them. She thinks all humans were put on Earth just for her. 😀

Our anxious, barky one year old Sheltie stayed with Bayside for 5 days boarding and she came home her normal, happy, healthy self. I was very nervous as she had never boarded before and would now highly recommend them to anyone.

We have two small dogs. They share a pen, when at Bayside. They are always in great spirits, with no side affects, after their stay. bayside's staff is friendly and caring. What more could you ask for, when trusting your pup to someone?

Our dog was vaccinated/ after staying there got Bordatella - kennel cough. I called Bayside kennel- they said, "they had many calls of other dogs there getting sick". But no apology or refund. Now I have three dogs at home sick and vet costs. Would not recommend taking dogs there.

My husband and I always drop off our two pugs when we go out of town and they treat our dogs like their own and the pugs are always so excited to go there and come back happy and clean. We totally recommend them because of the friendly staff as well!

Clean facility. Courteous friendly staff. Very caring towards all the animals left in their care. My dog had a bath and nail trim. He looked great!
