I recently visited thid location, and I must say, it was an exceptional shopping experience! Right from the start, the store's cleanliness and organization stood out. The aisles were well-labeled, making it a breeze to find everything I needed. The produce section was a highlight with its fresh and vibrant selection of fruits and vegetables. What truly set this Albertsons apart was the customer service; every employee I interacted with was friendly and went out of their way to assist. The checkout process was swift, thanks to the efficient and courteous staff. Additionally, the bakery's aroma was irresistible, and their freshly baked goods didn't disappoint. This Albertsons store combines convenience, variety, and outstanding service, making it a top choice for grocery shopping in Gig Harbor.

Thank you Albertsons Bakery! The cakes you’ve made through the years are works of art! We’ve asked for cakes that featured the Oregon Ducks, Star Trek, Guitars, our Chiweenie and today, Mount Rainier. What artists you are! Thanks again. You made Grandpa Butch’s day!

For a local grocery store this place has pretty much the majority what I'm looking for. I also absolutely love their bakery. They're decorators make these wonderful cakes and I even just like to go by and look at them even if I don't need one for an occasion. I do recommend their cakes though, they actually made my wedding cake and it was beautiful and tasted very good.

Clean and up to date Safeway/Albertsons. They could open the self check up a bit, maybe do the 4 rows with 2 registers each? The 'bullpen" was crowded and an absolute nightmare for anyone with the Slightest bit of Agoraphobia...

This particular Albertsons is stocked and one of the larger locations I’ve seen. They had a large selection in every department and lots of items I’ve never seen before (that’s saying something as I’ve lived in 5 different countries!) the staff has always been helpful when looking for common or not so common items. I will definitely be back to see what other fun things this location has.

We have always loved their deli chicken. They must have changed vendors? I bought fried chicken there yesterday, so disappointed! The pieces are small and just yucky. ;(, Like something you would get at Walmart or 7/11, or a gas station. PLEASE change back!!! Yikes

Great selection with poor service. Kiani assisted with checking my daughter and I out at the register. During our transaction she made multiple negative comments about the items we purchased to the person behind her (waiting to swap her out). I’m assuming she thought I didn’t hear her. I’ve never had anything like that happen to me before. I was pretty shocked.

This store is the closest to my house and on my way home from work, so I stop in regularly.Last weekend I saw a woman pushing a cart through the store with her little dog in the child seat. Obviously it wasn't an assist dog. It bugged me but at least it was in the cart, off the floor. What infuriated me was when her husband met up with her with his dog on a leash.Albertsons is a grocery store. It's not Pet Smart or Mud Bay or Home Depot. This place is where I come to buy FOOD. It is no place for a dog. I walked in with no shirt on my back or shoes on my feet I'd be asked to leave, and rightly so. Although, even encased in socks and shoes, I would make argument that my feet are immeasurably cleaner than any dog's paws. There is a sign posted on the door that says, "NO DOGS" , but it seems like everyone just turns a blind eye to it.Is there nothing that can be done about this.I'm a dog-lover as much as the next person, but they have no place in your establishment. I am even willing to bend on it being a "service dog". But a person bringing Fido into Albertsons Grocery Store just because he's his boon companion is wrong. I would hope that the staff would start calling people out on it.Thank you.

The Albertson's on Borgen is always clean and well stocked. I usually swing in after work so it's later in the evening, but it's never overly crowded (nor is it ever eerily empty either!) And the night staff is always friendly and ready to help.

I found it the staff treated many people poorly and there was a lot of stereotyping going on. I didn't experience it myself but the woman that was with me did they followed her around the store like she was a thief and she was nothing more than a shopper they looked at her and made their decision that she was a thief and had at least five different people following her around

Hopelessly overpriced grocery store with relatively good produce. They offer exactly the same merchandise as Fred Meyer (except that FM has clothing, furniture & a proper garden center) but at MUCH higher prices - for example: 3 times the price for a single can of tuna. There are rare occasions that a sale will draw me into the store. For regular shopping however, I am happy to drive 15 minutes to Fred Meyer - even considering the price of gas, I am still saving money & frustration.

I bought 3 plastic containers of precut melons, honey dew, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Most of them were cut too close to the rind and were not good. Don't buy these if you want juicy melons.

Manager Susie at the Gig Harbor store was wonderful to me. She was warm and friendly while also professional when she dealt with my issue. I love this store, the prices are great and even better when you use the Albertsons app. Elizabeth at Harbor Crossing

Hands down the worst grocery store in the Harbor. Overpriced, low quality, poorly staffed.

The reason for this review is because of the staff in the deli department. The first incident was when I overheard two deli employees ridiculing me for being distracted on my phone. They made it very obvious. I looked over and both employees were staring at me, subsequently they looked at each other and proceeded to laugh then dispersed. When I approached one of them at the hot food case to make an order, I was treated with such discourtesy as if I was an inconvenience. I had brushed it off as I saw this as a trivial matter. The second incident happened a few days after the first incident. I approached the hot food case waiting for only a couple minutes. I didn’t mind waiting because each employee was noticeably busy with tasks. However one specific employee looked at me multiple times but no verbal acknowledgement. As soon as I pulled my phone out for a couple seconds to look at the time, he rushed over and told me this is a no phone zone. My phone was put away before he even began speaking. He tells me he is joking but then starts to ramble on about how disrespectful it is when people are on their phones and not paying attention disregarding the employees. He claims to be speaking in general but felt the need to inform me that he had to drop his workload to assist me when he could be doing something else because I was on my phone for that brief period. Then he proceeds to tell me if I don’t like what I am hearing that I could speak to a supervisor at the front end. All whilst the employee from the first incident is laughing in the background. I strongly felt that it was insinuated towards me regardless of him generally speaking. Evidently guests with phones seem to be a trigger with some of the staff. Never was I physically using my phone in the presence of any employee trying to assist. Both incidences felt very malicious. I owe no one an explanation for anything I do but I feel like I have to justify looking at my own phone in public. Referring back to the first incident, I was “distracted” by my phone for work related reasons! I wasn’t hurting anyone or in anyone’s way. Some things require immediate attention at any moment and acting with urgency could be anywhere at anytime.I spoke with a supervisor after all this. Hopefully a conversation was had. I am not looking for anyone to be given punishment but proper training on etiquettes and know when cues are placed.

Good stock. No sanitizer available for the carts. Evidently they never heard of the Flu, Covid, Hep-A or RSV. Patron safety should be high on their list but, I guess not. The Bakery thought that Mince Pie was a novel idea. You won't find any here this year. Prices are too high. We shopped the best deals and sales only. Oh well.

Perfectly decent grocery store in a painfully bougie location. Great place to go if shopping at Target for $12 artisanal turmeric infused kombucha lemonade is not in your budget.

Great employees and good sales plus discount meat well worth the trip. 10/08/23 Still a great place to shop. I'm usually in Bremerton but taking care of my Dad so I don't get over here as much.

The store is really clean, and packfull of goods. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. Their was one cashier when I went today and he was funny, friendly and was able to stay cool while being slammed with customers. The staff all seem to work excellent together. This is the only store I will be shopping at from know on.

The grocery store does a very good job at keeping stocked and I pretty much confined the majority of what I need. And I always love visiting the bakery section since they have some of the best decorators in the area
