This is my favorite pizza place on the island! If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place for you. All of their pastries and breads are delicious. The Key Lime pie is out of this world, as well as the carrot cake, cookies and croissants. They also serve wonderful coffees, lattes, and cappuccinos. Staff are helpful and friendly. Check it out for fantastic fare! Not open on weekends.

Wow! Wow! Wow! If you are looking for perfection in your baked goods- come here! We just had the best carrot cake we've ever had! (And honestly- I make a pretty mean one myself!) But this one blew the doors off my recipe! It was loaded with pecans on the outside, making it look beautiful as well as tasting incredible too! Not sure what all was inside, but it was loaded inside too! Not too much spice which sometimes overpowers the taste of the cake- it was perfection! Danishes were fresh and awesome too! You can't go wrong here!

They do se great breads and pizzas and pastries. They make some really unique and delicious pizza!! However, their sandwiches don't have a whole lot of flavor; they're fine, I guess, but nothing special compared to other places in town. They use their own bread though, which is nice, but the fillings and flavors and variety aren't noteworthy. We really love their breads and their cookies. And our favorite dessert they make is the Brown Butter Apple Tart. YUMMY!

I can't say enough good things about this bakery and honestly I don't want to say too many things about this bakery because it's nice to have a place that isn't overcrowded on the Island especially during the summer season. In my pizza opinion, they serve one of the best thin crust pizzas I have ever eaten. Certainly one of the best on the Island.

This was a quick fix coffee stop. But it turned out to be a full fledged bakery haul. Their brownies deserve a special mention. We also tried the Pain au Chocolat and croissant. The cappuccino we got here was one of the best I've ever had. Cheers!

Visiting Friday Harbor. Walked up here from the docks and I’m glad we did. The apple tart was amazing! I wish I had ordered 2! I’m doubtful that the peanut butter cookies will survive the boat ride back home to be shared with others! Guess they should have tagged along with us for the day 😉

This was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back. We met another customer who had tried something different every day for several days, so we took her advice and each got the pecan butter tart. They were delicious. Lots of other treats to choose from as well as pizza, sandwiches, and salad.

I buy a cinnamon roll every Thursday and todays was outstanding! Soft, sweet and perfect. The past 2 weeks the dough hasn't been as thick and they were kind of dry. I almost gave up on my weekly treat. Whatever the baker did today, keep it up!!

5 stars for the food - everything was amazing (tarragon bread/muffin and the crescent roll stuffed with chocolate were our favorites). Plus, one of the best mocha's I have ever had!5 stars for the service - really nice, helpful staff3.5 stars for the atmosphere - pretty small (and gets crowded quick) - nowhere to sit inside5 stars for the prices - pretty reasonable for freshly made bakery goods in a resort town!Would highly recommend!

This place is a bakery. Sure, they have sandwiches and pizza. But at heart it's a bakery. Their pastries are made with art and passion and flair in the French style; they have that certain je ne sais quoi that makes you wonder what makes them so good. No seating, all take out.

Brought 30 friends to the island for a cycling tour. Got our bread, croissants and dough balls (for home made pizza!) from Bakery San Juan. Lovely people to do business with. Excellent product. We also stopped in for snacks on the ride to-and-from American Camp! Great People!

Tried the cheese crescent. Flaky, with deep savory sweet! The most delicate and interesting pastry I’ve had in a long time.

Super good baked goods. I had their sour cream blueberry muffin, and it was fantastic. Their ham and cheese croissant was delicious too.

You know a place is good when they have a line out the door!Modest selection of baked goods (cakes, cookies, muffin, cinnamon rolls). The best carrot muffin I've ever had!Customer service was great. The barista checked with me to see if the amount of syrup was ok and exactly how much cream I wanted so that my coffee was exactly the way I like it. The coffee itself was ok. I like rich, dark coffee. Theirs is bright, floral. More like a French roast. Also love that their syrups are house made!We will definitely be back to try the sandwiches next time we visit.

Really excited to try this bakery due to the reviews and pictures I read. First place we went to after getting off the ferry. We got a pumpkin muffin and a cream cheese croissant 🥐! Both were so freaking fresh and amazing!! Highly recommend this place but get there early as they sell out of everything fast!!

Best bread (multigrain quickly became the go-to—dense, seeded, and moist with a still crisp crust.) and pastries (actually flaky with an audible crisp as you bite in) on the island!Pizza is out of this world and perhaps worth a trip to the island in itself. Produce-forward toppings magically supported by the thinnest crust that crisps in your mouth with every bite. It’s like Cheeseboard (Berkeley, CA bakery spot) meets Naples, and it’s incredible. Loved el Caprinho for its peppers, sweet tomato, dabs of goat cheese, and little kick. Potato pie potatoes were cut a bit thick (perhaps more potato than pizza) but so well seasoned I didn’t mind.Of all the cinnamon rolls on the island, this was my favorite (yeasted, more bready, moist, with an ooey gooey center. I know we all have different preferences).Cookies are a bit on the bready side for my tastes, but still quite goof (but I like them moist and chewy).

I’ve been here 3 times and always walk away with something wonderful. The loaves are really special, both the sourdough and pain au levain are favorites to transform into toasted sandwiches or eat completely plain! Truly balanced flavors and craftsmanship. I’m hooked on the mushroom pizza too. It’s a very short walk out from downtown, and well worth it! Not to mention very reasonably priced for what they’re offering. I love this place.

It was pretty busy, which made sense when we got inside and saw the selection. Tried the coffee cake and carrot muffin on this visit and my kids loved it as much as we did (should have gotten a few more, lol). Didn’t get pizza, but that looked great too.

A treasure. I look forward to coming here every time we visit San Juan Island. The pizza is special. We have a lot of good pizza in Seattle, but nothing quite like this. The cookies are also great. Great place to get lunch to go.
