A group of us have been renting the Dancing Bear Lodge and attached bldg in October for about 5 years now. It is so wonderful and warm and inviting while having a private space for everyone. It is equipped very very well and the kitchen is really a pleasure to be in and everything in the way of cooking equipment you could want. The people that you speak with are always so helpful and accommodating. We so enjoy our stay. Linda

Had a wonderful stay at Starry Nights by the Creek. It was very clean, well stocked and had waffle mix and waffle iron for breakfast. Has a fun "game theme" (pool table, shuffle board, darts, slot machine) The directions emailed ahead of time for buying groceries, directions etc.. were very much appreciated and knowing all that beforehand was a plus ! It is very close to the entrance to Mt Rainier and after hiking all day the hot tub was awesome. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Loved our stay here! Completely stocked with basics, which is a real plus since shopping is very limited. Cedar Cabin By the Creek was just right. Great hot tub, back deck, peaceful setting. Beds were very comfortable, and place was very clean. A good experience. Could use a little TLC, paint touch-ups, etc, but overall, terrific. Would stay here again.

We just stayed at Three Bears Lodge for the second time, and loved it. The location is perfect (right outside the entrance the park), it is clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for everyone to have some peace and quiet during the stay. The fully-equipped kitchen makes cooking easy, the beds are comfortable, and the gas fireplace is so cozy on those cool evenings. Next time we're visiting the area, we won't hesitate to stay here again.

So my husband and I originally booked two nights at Starry Nights by the Creek, and we were going to spend a week elsewhere. Well, our plans changed a couple of weeks before our trip, so I called up Rainier Lodging to book one night at Cedar Cabin by the Creek. The calendar was full for Starry Nights for that extra night, which wasn't a problem in our eyes. The two nights we spent at Starry Nights were really lovely. The cabin had a lot of fun decor and had some table games like pool and shuffleboard. The bed was very comfy, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a motorcycle ride up Mt. Rainier. The biggest perk was that we could bring our dog! My only complaint would be the cutlery was dangerously dull and would not keep an edge even after sharpening. Everything else was perfect-- they even had frosty mugs for beer in the freezer. The cleaning lady drove down the driveway no less than three times to see if we'd checked out by 11. It was fine, I guess, but she was a little out there. We packed up and drove around for several hours until an appropriate check in time for Cedar Cabin (the office told me I'd be fine to show up at 3PM). Upon arrival, I unlocked the house and found that it hadn't been prepared for us. Meaning... The tip for the housekeeper was still on the counter. There was a laundry basket full of dirty towels on the washing machine. The bedding was all messed up in one of the rooms. The dishwasher was still full of dishes. I felt really weird walking into it. I went back outside and decided to wait for half an hour thinking maybe I was still too early. No sign of anyone at 3:30, so I called the numbers listed on the fridge from the land line phone inside. Neither the property manager nor the maintenance man picked up the phone, but I got lucky and Joe picked up the office phone on a Sunday afternoon. After describing what I walked into, he apologized profusely and told me he'd call me back. Fifteen minutes later, he called back and offered my husband and I a night at the Dancing Bear Lodge, which he assured us was prepared for guests (he had the maintenance guy check on it).Mark, the maintenance man, actually met us at the Cedar Cabin and graciously escorted us the few miles over to the Dancing Bear Lodge and made sure we were all set before he left us. The small inconvenience of waiting around and having to change cabins was greatly overshadowed by the amazing lodge we had all to ourselves. We had such a wonderful time on our night in the lodge-- even the dog was ecstatic. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was so fun cooking on the large stove. The knives were not dull, in case you were wondering. We loved every moment kicking back in front of the fire and relaxing in all the space we were given. The lodge is gorgeous, as well as the parcel it sits on. I felt like the issue with Cedar Cabin was a blessing in disguise and I feel super lucky we were able to stay at the Dancing Bear Lodge for an evening. All in all, we will DEFINITELY be back. Joe's superb customer service deserves to be rewarded. A big thanks as well to Mark for making sure we got over to Dancing Bear Lodge without any issues considering there's no cell service out there. The cabins are very nice, tastefully furnished, and well stocked with cookware and the like. We'd stayed in a different cabin up by Mt. Rainier a few years ago and while it shared the same tranquility, it was no match for the amenities offered at these cabins, for the same price.

Our family stayed at Dancing Bear Lodge for a weekend recently. It was fantastic - loved the space, especially the kitchen, fully stocked. Very convenient to the Mt.Rainier park entrance and easy to find. We recommend highly and would stay again if ever in the area.

Loved it!.. absolutely gorgeous cabin.. we had so much fun! But it’s definitely haunted!Oh & we couldn’t use the jacuzzi bathtub because their was mold in the jets. I was super bummed out about that.

And overall good stay. Our party did face some issues with confusing directions during check-in and had some difficulty finding the cabin. In addition, the rooms felt a little cluttered and the instructions for all the actions the owners wished for you to take (such as procedures for check-out) felt a little forceful and stern. But I understand where they may be coming from. Despite these issues, the cabin was clean and spacious. There were plenty of games and other amenities to keep just about anyone occupied during their stay. Free WiFi was a huge plus, since cell reception is scarce in the miles surrounding the cabin. And they even had free waffle mix with makers to use during your stay. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for others in the future.

This place is amazing! We stayed in the Three Bear Cabin with 1 infant, 1 toddler, 5 adults and a dog. It's small, but it was perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked, they supply pancakes/waffles! Will go back very soon!!

I recenty stayed with my family and a large group. We have rented a number of vacation homes across the U.S. and this by far was the best equipped. Not only does this lodge make a great base for nearby outdoor activities, it makes an excellent destination in and of itself. Besides the lovely accomodations, the outdoor set up is a huge bonus. The expansive lawn was perfect for the kids, and who doesn't love a fire pit and hot tub? We are looking forward to returning.

We stayed in Three Bears Lodge the night after our wedding and enjoyed the full kitchen and the hot tub. Everything was so clean and everything we needed was provided for us. We loved it so much, we have booked another stay for next week. Will definitely be bringing friends and family to stay at Three Bears Lodge when they visit.

The house is very pretty, and was in great shape when we got there. At first, the location was a concern for me as it was right next to the road leading to Mt. Rainier, but I haven't been able to hear cars in the slightest. Great place, wouldn't mind staying there again.

Really nice service, activities, and time passers that are available here. They answered our questions and attended to our needs when asked. This lodge is in an amazing place( only 300 yds from Mt. Rainier National Park Gate, and only 200 yds from a great convenience store)
