Amazing cabins! We had the pleasure of staying in the Sequoia cabin. The hot tub on the deck was great. We had temps in the teens and having that tub was a fun experience for our family. Huge fireplace and a huge table. We were able to entertain some friends for the afternoon with plenty of space. Can't wait to be back. Having so much snow was a nice bonus.ThanksThe George Family

Our stay at Mounthaven resort was so relaxing and wonderful. We stayed in the Sequoia cabin with 5 beds , full kitchen and bathroom ❤️ James and Zandy were so friendly and hospitable! We will definitely be back to this little home away from home 🏽 Very peaceful…And the hot tub and fire place were a plus! Also had a bbq grill and fire pit outside and laundry and bathroom for tent campers. We got to explore Mt Rainer national park and see all the beautiful waterfalls and rivers, it was breathtaking!! This resort may not be “luxury” for some but it was definitely our kinda luxury! Thank you for the pleasant stay!Jordan & Amber WilliamsNearby activities: Great hiking not too far from resort with waterfalls, rivers and beautiful mountain scenery. Also had this one place with a really cool exhibit of iron statues all over the property not too far from the resort. Can’t remember exactly what it was called but definitely a must see!! Well worth a visit!

EXCELLENT! We stayed in the Sequoia cabin. Very spacious, full kitchen. Slept 9-10 people. The staff and owner we so nice and friendly. Excellent location just a couple miles from Mt. Rainier Park entrance to Paradise. We had a shower in the cabin, and there were 2 more showers and laundry machines about 100 ft. Away.Fire pit outside. Hot tub. Grill. Nice deck to hang out on. EXCELLENT!We brought family that had never been to Rainier, and we could not have made a better choice then to stay at Mt. Haven.Rooms: Plenty of space. 5 beds. Nice to just hang out at the cabin.Nearby activities: Mt. Rainier. Hikes.

We had a great stay here. The place was comfortable and clean. The utilsils and things included for cooking were pretty limited, so next time I'd bring our camping stuff next time to make sure we had what we needed to make meals, in addition to seasonings. The only things I'd change were regarding communication and what things were included in the cabin. We booked our stay a year in advance in person because we weren't able to get a hold of anyone via email or phone. As the weekend we were going to stay approached, we didn't get any confirmation or communication confirming our stay so we showed up half expecting not to have the cabin available. It was and check in went well. But having a confirmation email the week of would have been great. When we checked out, nobody was in the office so I wasn't sure what we needed to do ahead of turning in our keys so having a check out list in the cabin would have also been helpful. Our girls loved it. The location is amazing. And everyone on the property was very nice. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We were planning to go Mt Rainier and looks like most of the accommodation around the area is filled. Luckily, I stumbled to this resort. I have checked the reviews and all are great so I emailed them as they don't have any hidden charges as they post on the website. I have decided to book it anyways and we got the Cedar cabin which is located near the entrance. As we enter the resort, my family felt excitement. The office was closed but they left the keys outside so we can get inside the cabin. We were so happy as the cabin was fresh smelling, and all the things we needed is provided. There is a fire pit outside too!!! We loved the place and will definitely come back!!!!Thanks Mounthaven Resort for the wonderful experience!!!Rooms: Clean rooms!!! We loved it

I know a lot of folks have enjoyed their time here and my review is not meant to contradict theirs…But as a tent camper, it was a disappointment. Our campsite itself was quite dismal in appearance and was so small that fitting a car and a 5 person tent was nearly impossible without the tent being so close to the fire that embers would hit it (we are in a 55 day national park tour and have stayed in 30 or more sites for comparison sake). The showers were cold even though no one showered the hour before us (we were waiting and doing laundry) and although I have 3-5 other small inconveniences that would normally be easily overlooked, the high price for a tent site made it really feel like a bad deal for us.Seems quite possible that it’s better for RVs than for our tent camping style…for what it’s worth! The place has a nice feel and touch and it’s clear the folks running it care, but this was our experience. 😀

We stayed in the Fir cabin last summer. Advertised as most "unique" with stairway to loft . You get to top of stairs and the ceiling, in the middle is about 4' high and angles down to a foot. You have to crawl to the mattress , which is sitting on the floor. No air flow and hotter than hell. Though they did provide small plug in fans that just moved the hot air around. We reserved 3 nights but left after 2 as it was too hot sleep. As others have said, not sure what qualifies this place as a resort? Maybe the 2 swings and a laundry room...

Very depressing place. Nothing to do there. Shower room was very cold. Everything looks shabby. There's a lot of tools and equipment just laying around on the ground haphazardly. The word "resort" is very funny.

Friendly owners. Good communication before arriving and understanding when we were a bit late checking in. Nice grounds. We stayed in an Rv spot 2 and it was roomy enough. Some of the other spots were closer together so even though we were closest to the road (couldn’t hear much anyway), it was still more private. We enjoyed the little playground for our kiddo. Not sure what qualifies it as a “resort,” but it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and return!

We stayed in the Hemlock cabin and it was wonderful! We hiked a ton in the park during the day and it was the perfect place to kick our feet (very tired feet) up after a long day of adventure. The proximity to the park was awesome, and there are are a few great nearby restaurants to grab a meal. The fireplace was nice, the heater worked just as well when we ran out of firewood ! The kitchen is perfect for heating up leftovers or a snack. Very clean, super cute! Definitely recommend

Quiet. Heavily treed, beautiful small RV resort. No amenities other than washer and drier and only two bathroom/shower combos, but it does offer full hookups, good tasting water, and its One-Half Mile ( ! 1/2 mile ! ) from the Rainier National Park Nisqually Entrance Historic District. This resort also has fully appointed cute cabins which our friends stayed in that was perfect. Thankyou James and Zandy!

Great place, friendly staff, even friendly deer. The proximity to Mt. Rainier can't be beat. We camped with a group of friends and enjoyed the fact that there was something for every type of camper. One couple chose to use one of the cute cottage cabins, another gentleman used a tent site, others hauled in their trailers. We enjoyed a tent trailer site. This would be a great location for a family reunion.Another great bonus was the size of the resort. There were not too many sites. That meant we never felt crowded, and there were no lines for the nice clean, first class restrooms and showers.I have no hesitation giving this a five star rating.

Overall the cabin was what we expected: small, rustic, and very close to the national park.We stayed in the Pine cabin and loved being right next to the creek. The cabin doesn't have very many outlets, the bathroom is pretty tiny, and the curtains in the second bedroom don't completely cover the windows. Also, the bedroom windows don't lock and the front door only has a door knob lock, so I wouldn't leave valuables in the cabin while you're gone in the park.

Wonderful setting and nice cabins! Clean and well set up. I especially loved the outdoor area. Not only did my cabin have a small deck with a couple chairs, a small table and a bench but off the deck was a picnic table, a charcoal bbq, a firepit and two more chairs. Wonderful place for a get away. Great for groups that want to stay in the same place and have some amenities. I loved that it was only a few minutes from the Nisqually entrance to the park. Very convenient.

This is a quaint, family-owned park with no long term spots (which is a good thing). There are about 12 RV spots, some tent spots, and cabins. One cabin even has a jacuzzi! The spots are not paved but they are fairly level with generous spacing between. Each spot has a fire ring and a picnic table. While it is close to the road, it was quiet. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is very nice and welcoming. There is only one shower and one bathroom, but both are clean. There is also a coin operated washer and dryer. It is conveniently located about half a mile from the Mount Rainier National Park entrance which could be good or bad depending on the line. We enjoyed our camping experience here with its history and lush forest surroundings. I would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing resort! Our cabin was great, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Being 5 minutes from the entrance of Mt. Rainer made it even more appealing. Highly recommend this resort for any family wanting to get away from the daily grind. I will definitely come again, loved it!

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay! The cabins are comfortable, cozy, and super clean. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how friendly and accommodating the owners of this place are! It is always so tough to leave whenever we visit, but the fun we have and memories we continue to make here definitely gives our family something to look forward to the next time we come!

Absolutely beautiful campground and less then five minutes from the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. Super clean and homey bathrooms and showers. RV full hookups were great. Had no issues, wish we had time to stay longer.

Great location, well maintained campground with reasonable privacy. We stayed 3 nights in an RV space, parents stayed in a cabin. Would have given 5 stars, but they charge $25 per night ($75 total) to plug in my electric vehicle into the one 30 amp outlet that I already paid for as part of campsite. There’s one outlet - so it’s either your trailer OR your car - no 50 amp and/or 20 amp. Just one and you have to decide what to plug in AND still pay $75. Had it been disclosed in their policy, then fair enough - but it wasn’t. And of course there’s nowhere else nearby so you’re stuck. Kind of a shameless money grab in my opinion which is too bad because otherwise it was great.

Rented the Westwood Chalet with some friends to get away for a weekend and it was minimalistic, but absolutely perfect for our needs. There was enough space for all 6 of us to comfortably coexist for the weekend and the hot tub was incredible. The A frame part of the place was so cool and I loved having the king sized bed in the top. On top of the house itself, the location was incredible. Truly right outside the gates of Mount Rainier National Park. We probably skipped waiting an hour+ in line to get into the park solely because we were so close. And the best part has been James and Zandy. I left my headphones at the Chalet and they were prompt and kind in helping to get them returned to me. 10/10 would recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

Stayed in the one tent site they have which is pretty decent size. Theres room for a car or two and a couple tents. Nice little fire pit. There is water at the site and nice bathrooms and showers very close by. The family that runs the place seem really nice! The resort is very quiet. Cant wait to come back and rent a cabin!
