I enjoyed looking through everything in the store. It's an antique type of store that can best be described as a quaint little shop however It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be and the prices are bit steep. I purchased a few things for my family to give as Christmas gifts. I wish I could afford to buy some of the other things I saw. I will definitely be visiting again.

Everyone who works here is wonderful! This shop is a breath of fresh air, and all the merchandise is amazing! They have such a great collection of amazing pieces!The coffee shop is awesome too and the drinks are tasty!

The largest gift store, possibly, in Spokane county. Large selection of home and gift items. Very charming selection. They also serve coffee at the register. It's worth driving down to Rockford to visit this shop and stop next door for a burger. Great trip. Give it a try.

We were house hunting in more rural areas outside of Spokane and stumbled upon this small town wonder! My Mama and I visited this shop and were greeted warmly by Teresa. She offered us some iced tea as it was our first time there and made us feel so welcome.This shop reminds me of Armadillo Market or Sweet Salvage in Phoenix, AZ. The way the shop is set up is so inviting. There are all kinds of local PNW goodies sold here and plenty of ways to support local entrepreneurs while shopping here. Each area is carefully curated with handcrafted and handmade goodness sprinkled with antiques all throughout. The yummy soy handmade candles will entice your senses too! I'm very sensitive to chemicals and I didn't find them activating to my asthma.The next time we visited I tried an Iced Oatmylk Chai Tea Latte and it was yummmyyyyy! We met the owner Jill and now I see why the shop is so special. Thanks for welcoming us Jill. We look forward to day field trips down the Palouse Byway to come visit our favorite shop and the beautiful small friendly town of Rockford.

Wonderful eclectic collection of home decor and gifts! From the outside, I expected the interior to be small and quaint. I was surprised to find the inside expansive and brimming with interesting items! We spent a long time exploring each uniquely themed section. The styles range from rustic to quirky and fun. There is also a cafe to grab an expresso. A must visit if you're in the area!

A surprising hidden gem! We found it by accident but will definitely be back. Tons of square footage, bursting with unique and fun inventory. Friendly staff and great coffee! The perfect spot to find a gift for anyone. . . Or yourself. If it's out of your way, go anyway. You will be glad you did.

This was the first time shopping at the mercantule but, it won't be the last! Fabulous selection of items and everything was beautifully displayed. There is something for everyone.We drove to Rockford Saturday morning, had breakfast at the Harvest Moon Cafe (great food by the way) and then went to the Mercantile two doors down.Perfect way to spend a Saturday morning! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

What a joy to visit this beautiful store for shopping and coffee. We spent more than an hour wandering from room to room. Such unique furnishings, gifts and home decor. We both lamented that we had not discovered it before Christmas. Next year, for sure, but probably more visits before the holidays for gift and home shopping.

Wonderful end destination point for a drive from Spokane. Cute home furnishings, nice people, Italian cream sodas (and espresso drinks) with the Palouse on the way there (Old Palouse Hwy then Hwy 27) and Palouse on the way back (Valley Chapel Rd provides a nice loop return)
