Its more of a convenience store with a good variety of snacks, drinks and what you would expect a 7-eleven store might carry but without the hot instant snacks. There are very very little fruits and vegetables and fresh meats so do stock up (at a Walmart or some big supermarket on your way here) on your fresh food that you would need for cooking meals if you are staying here in Ashford or Longmire. Nearest place to get grocery n fresh food would be at least half hour away in Eatonville and the prices are steep!

Great staff, unique gifts, air and vacuum, firewood and lottery too! Last stop for gas, food and tiny trinkets heading East for 89 miles. You can buy your park passes here too!

Small gas station convenience store very close to the entrance to Mount Rainier national park. Sells soft drinks, packaged snacks, and some Mount rainier souvenirs. Nice workers

Yep love this store! They have seriously so much here so if you've forgotten some random item for your little day trip this place has got it! Friendly staff always as well & they have a bathroom and souvenirs!

Nice little shop. They had cliff bars, probably the only organic thing in there but was good price. They had maps with important Mt Rainier fees. The proprietor was a quiet polite Asian gentleman. Seemed like he wanted to talk but lot of customers in the morning. He seemed nice. They do lottery here too.

I will never give this business my service again.I purchased $80 dollars worth of groceries and gas from them over a couple days.On a subsequent day I went to fill my water bottle from their sink. I was told that I was not allowed to take their water.Screw them. It's a gas station, and it's tap water!

A short stop just before mt Rainer park, this place has what you might expect from a small store near a national park.complete with park prices.while ridiculously expensive, who even cares when you consider the mountain you can climb before leaving town. The first bona fide UFO report was made near here by Kenneth Arnold back in 1946.i believe 9 crafts "skipping" like a saucer over water was his description. Not to mention a considerate amount of 'squatch sightings and other cryptid type encounters have regularly manifested in the immediate and surrounding areas. Everything about this place is magical, with a palpable energy that lingers after your visit. I strongly suggest carrying a firearm if you should choose to hike deeper into these woods, there are cougars and mtn lion , bear and elk, innumerable types of flora and fauna and too many reasons to ever be able to encompass the experience awaiting a well provisioned and experienced explorer. Dont forget a firearm, you may not need it, but it beats the alternative.

Friendly owner's June and his wife Suek, are at the store most days and are happy to assist you with what you need. Whether gas, smokes, beer, or yes even a steak! And I wish they had the chicken gizzards all year they and the egg rolls are to die for also the chicken salad sandwiches aren't bad either

The woman behind the counter was pretty condescending and rude to my friend and I and then double charged my credit card as "Ashford Valley Grocery" and then as "Ashford Grocery Store." When I called to sort out the issue I was immediately told I was wrong by the man answering the phone. The man didn't even bother to look into the issue or offer to tell the owner and have the owner call me back. I ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company. The owners need to wake up to how awful their staff is. Pathetic!

The last stop before rainier diesel + gas on the way to Rainier.There are some staples in the store (milk, firewood, ice).They also rent and sell chains.EVERYTHING IS MASSIVELY overpriced this is an emergency stop. The $75 dollar chains they sell will cost you $150.
