We went to Emish Market for a meal. My wife had avocado toast 2 scramvled eggs with a side salad. She said everything was wonderful. The eggs were scrambled, and my wife said they were some of the best she has had. The salad dressing was wonderful as was the avocado toast.I had eggs bacon and potatoes. I always ask for a piece of wheat toast, which you will not get unless you ask. The dish comes with 3 eggs, 4 slices of wonderful bacon, and cubed fried potatoes. I love this breakfast, and they have a "robot" to deliver your food.This cafe has a large variety of unique desert items.This is an amazing place, the cafe and a grocery store with many Ukraine products. The fresh baked breads are yummy!This market is worth the drive and a fun experience.

Outstanding! This place is busy for a reason:There are things here you can't find anywhere else in South Sound. The in-store Cafe is amazing. They make perfect Lattes! The breakfast burritos are big with fresh ingredients.The meat dept is small but has a great selection. They will custom cut a Ribeye for you.They have a huge variety of Eastern European groceries. The store seems to cater to the Ukrainian community but everyone is made to feel welcome. VERY fresh produce, sourced locally when available, and competitive prices. A lot of items are cheaper than the big stores.The on-site bakery has the most beautiful, decadent deserts you will find anywhere.A word about European workers:they do not roam the store, making eye contact and smiling at everyone. They are focused on their work. However, they are always available to help and are personable.Are you still sitting on the couch? Get up and go visit Emish Market! You won't regret it.

The cafe is inside the market. It is small and has tables to enjoy what you order, also has couple of tables outside to enjoy the weather. The food was good. We ordered sausage omelet and a crepe. They are family friendly and they have a robot as a server. The market has a good selection of Ukranian and other countries food.

What a great place!We wanted a late lunch and I always wanted to visit the cafe.I had the Lamb Gyro with Salad, he had the Chicken dumplings. So tasty and fresh. Very sweet young lady waited on us. We had some kind of cheese filled pastry, which tasted like cheesecake.Very reasonably priced.Store section is very clean and organizedMeat counter has phenomenal prices.Produce looks very high quality and prices are amazingly low.Specialty items galore.We will certainly be back and soon

Best shashlik beef I’ve ever tried super juicy melted in my mouth!!! There was a waiting time but it was so worth it !!!! Amazing customer service. Girls at the bar are very kind and explained everything to me very well. Special thank you to the shashlik master he even showed me how he was making it !! Amazing store amazing quality!! I randomly found this market when searching places to eat while down near Tacoma. I stopped by on my way back to Seattle. The parking lot was packed on a Thursday at noon.I grabbed a basket not knowing what I might find. THE BEST thing was a pack of cheese crepes in the pre-made, refrigerated section! So good!!I picked up a small container of Nazook, a Nutella bun, and some candy. (All great!)This place is filled with so many European groceries that I’ve never seen elsewhere. I’m bringing friends and coming back soon.

You must visit this fabulous Ukrainian market!! My family and I were driving by and stopped to check it out. They have the best bakery section with the most delicious treats! My husband bought their cheese bread and it's our new favorite bread!

Poor cafe cashier service. Not professional behavior. I was charged for extra $10 dollars for food which wasn’t ordered…Make sure you got the RECEIPT there and double check it for prices.But shop is really great, always quality products and fantastic bakery. Security guy is really friendly as well

I love this place. I can find things here i have only ever found in Europe. The staff is very friendly and willing to translate labels for me (many have eastern European script).Definelty recommend a look.Oh, the pastries. The pastries the pastries. Yep, those two words says it all.Try this place. Have lunch there too (or dinner)

I was only there to pick up an online order but from what I saw it was really nice, clean, and organized. The ambiance was nice, good lighting on the food but not blinding for the customers, like some stores make you feel like you're on stage. But there is an abundance of fresh and good looking (& smelling) food, whichreminded me of Trader Joe's.

Stopped by this adorable Eastern European Market. They had a great selection of specialty cheeses, sodas, freshly made breads and produce. They had a large selection of dumplings, and even a bulk section that you can scoop your own. We grabbed a coffee and a few sweets from the cafe before leaving. We will definitely be back.

One of the best European stores i've been to. Lots of products, fresh bakery goods, sweets. Came here from Marysville. There aren't any store like this north of Seattle that offers so much European products and fresh bakery.

The food is SO YUMMY! My neighbors are Ukrainian and have gifted us a few homemade meals which inspired me to order from here. Everything I’ve tried is absolutely delicious and authentic. My favorites so far are the veggie crepes, the beet and beef soup, the chicken piroshkis, and my kids absolutely loved the Mac and cheese. They even included a couple extra pie slices that had a hand written, “Happy new years!” On the box. I can’t wait to bring my friends here. They go above and beyond and are so friendly! 10/10 recommend!

We visited on their grand opening.Employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was clean.Shelves were still in the process of getting filled up but mostly full already.It seems like they bake their own bread and pastries so they seemed fresh.They also have a cafe and a small dessert line including macaron, an area where you can sit down and enjoy as well.I’ll be visiting often!

After going this store for some time now, I have to say that the selection is nice! The fruits and vegetables are fresh, they have practically everything in stock all the time because of all the hard working employees there. The cashiers speak Russian, Ukrainian and English so there has never been a issue communicating my needs or my wife or kid's needs (Ukrainian Speaking).I mainly go for the coffee and tea selection, I will mention that the inventory changes a lot and I've found it harder to find my usual needs but I've been trying newer options and they haven't let me down yet. One of our favorite purchases there is the Canadian unbleached white flour. We also like the Stefania sparkling wine "champagne" that says Kyiv and Lviv on the bottles. They are usually hidden by the cooler on the far right of the wine shelf.Everything is reasonably priced in order to keep things in stock, also, been looking for the spicy mustard, if you have it or can bring it back, that would be great! Thanks for helping the community.JD

Update - I just love this place. I have no idea how they do it, but they have the best produce - especially for Chefs/Cooks. I go here instead of QFC - gods honest truth. It’s like a farmers market year round.It’s Ukrainian owned with a surprising amount of staples and speciality foods and a really nice restaurant. The restaurant serves a super good hamburger.I do whole house shopping here with all the fresh ingredients - better than big stores for a traditional kitchen cooking and the prices are excellent. Awesome selection of spices.The bread has come a long way since it opened. At first not a super big fan … but have changed to big fan. She makes “American Sourdough” I usually can’t stand American sourdough bread but her bread is super delicate with a chewy crust and not sour tasting.Would like to see more crusty breads - that’s about the only thing Marvin’s has on this place.I love her numbered cakes. Need a good cake for a birthday - blows away most grocery stores.Tons of German & Eastern European Ukrainian goods for homesick ex-pats. For example they have 6-7 different kinds of butters … for food snobs like me that is important.Lastly are the flowers. They have a super high end florist that shows up at the holidays. Flowers are right out a postcard.I recommend this place.It’s safe to be there as a customer even though it’s Fife.

Santa's stopped by come over. Best Roasted Chicken Cesar salad and Burger with fries along with pop. Or just shop for your meal large selection of fresh produce and fresh fish. Baked goods and pastries. Lots more not your regular grocery store.

Well shoot, this was a cool find. We discovered this place on the way home from picking up our cat's medicine and decided to check it out (truth be told we've driven by it several times and im glad we finally went in!).They had quite a few items you can pick up at your typical grocery store but they also had things, many things, that those same typical grocery stores don't carry. The girlfriend was tickled finding seasonings that she hasn't seen before (and let me tell you, that alone is something I've never seen happen before), and then of course buying said seasonings and using them for dinner that night (delicious!).I posted a lot of photos and we'll definitely be back!

This place has been open for a week now, and they are still having their Grand Opening. The place is pretty clean. They have places to sit down to relax and enjoy the breeze. The people (employees are friendly and helpful. Along with all kinds of really good specialty foods they also have plenty of every day stuff you would find at the regular grocery store and being right next to where I live it’s extremely convenient having these guys next door when not in the mood for the regular store. Meat department is incredible and they have tons of smoked meats and sausages now too.

I really want to help here, especially after reading so many poor reviews, but it's just not worth it...The inventory is sporadic, with no concerns with expiration dates like others highlight, but what's there today can't be depended on to be there on your next visit... even after a month.The best they have is their meat market and bakery. I will continue to visit if im in the area, but I won't recommend as a dependable resource

The food is amazingly good ! And their Cheese and Garlic Bread from the bakery is my favorite.But actually all their fresh breads are amazing ! Especially when you time it right and get the loaves that are still warm. Garden Salad , Chebeurk ( potato and mushrooms) and perogies are yummy

Nice smaller market with interesting Eastern European food items that you will not see in the bigger markets. The Ukrainian deli, bakery and cafe had delicious dishes. Many fresh Veggies and around the corner I even saw 5 trays of assorted dumplings you could buy by the pound and put in your own casserole. A treasure of food items for curious taste buds. I will be back.

This is not just an imported goods/novelty store, it's a legitimate and practical grocery store with about 60% of the floorspace containing normal American items (including very good priced produce) and then the remaining 40% is a very nice selection of Ukrainian/Eastern European novelties/imported goods (mineral waters, candies, etc...) and a huge bakery with fresh in-house baked bread and pastries. It really is a fascinating store. I also noticed on many of the imported products that Emish Market themselves is listed as the distributor which is interesting. Most of these products I see almost always have the same distributor - usually some company in Portland, OR or something.I noticed they also had a large cafe section too, but I did not have an opportunity to check that out.Fantastic store. Will be back again.
