You can really trust this place. Heather and her staff are definitely pet lovers! As well as insuring that your fur baby is safe and happy they can deal with other issues like medical care, anxiety, old age. I know my pets are in good hands always.

I just picked up my two Springer Spaniels and I am really happy with what a great job Pooch Palace did! I usually groom them myself and I can be a bit nit picky. There are no shaver lines and their paws were trimmed up really nicely. I am starting a new career and will definitely bring them back to save myself the hassle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have a 20 lb cat with an attitude :-). We go there every month to get his claws trimmed, and they do a great job.

This place is a gem. I love the homey feel our dogs have. Our big shepherd likes to hang out with the Littles. The staff is friendly and amazing with our dogs.

Took our shaggy Boi in for his annual cut and couldn't be happier. They did exactly what we wanted, and his paw-de-cure makes him stealth again.Thanks a bunch

This place has been a godsend, Heather is so kind, patient, and passionate about animals, you could just tell by meeting her. I'm usually a bit skeptical when it comes to someone else caring for my dogs but I'm not worried when it comes to bringing my dogs to the Pooch Palace! They have a great time and we're happy they have a fun, safe environment. 10/10 would recommend and it's been my 3rd time using the dog boarding service and definitely not the last. Thank you again, Heather and team!

Specifically asked you not to touch our dog's tail hair. Especially the amazingly cool white tip. You indeed did not touch any of the other tail hair with the exception of chopping off the amazingly cool white tip after we asked you not to. I was able to overlook the bowl cut you gave him but you just had to cut off that tail hair didn't you. We will never be back. Pooch Palace, I think not more like pooch poor house.

Pooch Palace is such a gem for the community. I've been taking my two Cavaliers here since 2020 for both boarding and grooming and Heather has always been so accommodating, helpful and loving towards my pups. She really cares about her animals as well as their humans, she is truly the best :) Even when she is swamped, Heather finds a way to make things work and fit me in last minute. Also, I've never had a better groomer than Missy. Missy is the only groomer I've had that actually took detailed notes on how I liked the dogs to look and I don't know how she remembers the tweaks I mention from the last grooming session, but she does and always does such a great job. I can neither describe in words nor thank you ladies enough for everything you've done for me, Lily and Miles!

I called to get information about this place. The receptionist was friendly when I called. She was very informative.She gave me the cost of the details as well. I think about bringing my sweet Calico kitty here for my vacation this holiday season!!

Brought my Golden here for the first time and they did a great job with her. She is very energetic but they had no issues and she looked great when I picked her up. The staff also has great energy and very easy to work with.

This was my first time taking my elder cocker spaniels to Pooch Palace. The gals were really nice and attentive to the things I shared about my dogs, giving them a little background on each of them. They let me know how much it would cost, and I found them to be very thorough. I did think they were a bit more expensive then some other places, but the professionalism and cut was definitely top notch and completely worth it. I am very happy, and my pups look cuter then buttons! I would totally recommend. Thank you 😊Update...from the first groom to the 3rd groom, I went from 65 a dog to 90 per dog!!! My dogs are cockers...I wondered why and just figured they priced me right outta there. Too bad, nice folks there. I drop my stars, am dissappointed☹

I was a little wary upon learning that this place provides cage free dog boarding but decided to take a chance and I am so glad we did! Really pleased with the my dog was treated during his stay. When we arrived to pick him up he was happily resting in one of the beds near some other small dogs he had befriended. My cat also stayed there and as far as I can tell she was also treated well. Both pets were in great moods when we brought them home. Very very pleased and will be back in the future.

Left our black lab and German shepherd pups here for 9 days. They came back washed, groomed, and toenails clipped. Wasn't even expecting that! Plus the prices are unbeatable. They also offer a military discount! Thank you pooch palace! We are definitely return customers!

I’ve been getting my dog groomed here for the past 5+ years, and they do an incredible job for a very reasonable price! We live in Seattle now, but we still drive up to Bellingham every few months just to get our dog groomed here. If that doesn’t speak to how much we love this place, I’m not sure what does. I can’t recommend them more!!!!

While the people here are nice & well-meaning, I don't think they understand cats very well. My cat is very timid and nervous and I told them that. She had boarded there three times before with no problem, but, this time, the owner (who I really think does not "get" cats) said she attempted to approach her with her hand in front of the cat's face. Cats interpret that as a hostile move and my cat went for her. I'm sure the owner was frightened and traumatized too, but, she blamed the cat and not her own inexperience. She was fairly unhappy w/me (b/c somehow, it was all my fault, I guess) and did not even offer to replace the very expensive Sherpa cat carrier that they destroyed - a pole or something seems to have been run through the back part of it. I was so traumatized myself by the whole experience and how upset they were with me (I sensed a real hostility there!) that I left without it. Granted, I did not ask them to replace it, but both the cat and I were so on edge by the owner's obvious frustration and hostility that I didn't want to push it. I think it would have been appropriate for them to have called me later and offered to replace it, which they never did. It's a great place for DOGS - they seem to take excellent care of dogs and show a real affection for them. However, if you have a cat, take it to a cat-only boarding place unless your cat is extremely mellow and 100% comfortable with lots of barking dogs. When you find that cat, I want to meet it!

I haven’t used them yet , but I will be on the 17th of December. What I did see was a bunch of super happy dogs in their facility when I visited them . I have heard from many people that they really like boarding their pets at this business. Looking forward to seeing out it turns out for our dog .

We've been bringing our pooch, Jack here since we moved into the area. He loves this place. It's his home away from home. They treat him like family and the groomers are excellent as well. I highly recommend Pooch Palace for boarding and grooming. The staff is wonderful!

Our rottweiler, Behemoth, loves coming here for grooming. We have also utilized the daycare for him on a couple of occasions with great success. I'm not sure what they do different than the other places we've tried, but we won't go anywhere else. 6 out of 5 stars, would recommend.

They always do such a great job with our Kitty's nails. And they did a good job with grooming her one time. I'm not sure they still do cat grooming though. But if you need it I recommend calling and asking. They also take good care of all the doggies too.

I pulled up and was surprised to see a garage door open with wire fencing to keep the dogs inside. Walking in, to the left, was a room with sliding door dividers where MANY dogs of all sizes were. The room was not that long and was narrow, not enough room for the dogs to play and such. The smell was more than I could handle. I was only there for less than 5 minutes in the main area with glass doors between me and the pack of dogs and I had the smell in my clothes when I left. Some may be ok with their setup but definitely wasn’t a fit for my pup.

I made an appointment for my MINI Australian Shepherd, and when my husband went to drop him off, ( driving from Laconner. Over 1 hour drive) she argued with him as to whether he was a full size Aussie or a mini. I think we know what kind of dog we have. She then said it would be more money then she quoted, because she insisted that he is a full size. Then she said she didn't even think she had time to do it today either. All we wanted was a bath, nail trim, and shave him. We weren't looking for a complicated cut. My husband took half a day off work to get him in, because we cant find anyone that isn't a month out. For the Lady that waisted our time. My dog is papered, and he is indeed a Mini. You should never argue with the owner. Pretty sure they know more than you since it is their dog. If you would have bathed and cut him like we were scheduled for you to do, you would have seen how small he is under that coat. He is just over grown at the moment. You were holding up your arms as if he were a Toy size. He is not a Toy Aussie or a full grown. He is a MINI.

As fulltime RVers, we have to depend upon other reviews when we need to get our two Schnorkies (Schnauzer/Yorkie mix) groomed. Shauna at Pooch Palace did an awesome job on our boys. They were groomed exactly to my specifications and were never put into a kennel. Pooch Palace was a little hard to spot from the road but we would highly recommend them and we'll be back the next time we are in the area.

My cousin had an appointment for her Keeshound which is much needed and since she works, I was dropping her dog off but I drove and walked around the building's for over 20 minutes and couldn't find the building. I called them multiple times to see if they could help me locate it and no one answered. I gave up and left.

There great! I bring my dog here to get his nails clipped there so fast and nice with him. He usually hates it but they keep him comfortible. That's more than I can say about some of the other places I have gone in bellingham.
