Nice clean, well-lit grocery store with amazing prices on name-brand foods. I especially appreciate their cheeses, produce, and frozen foods. The selection may not be as big as a traditional grocery store, but the prices are great and are a great help to our budget.

We scored a nice spiral cut ham for $1.99 lb.Good price. The Grocery Outlet has some good prices. The selections are not there like other name brand stores, though.

Quite frankly there best Grocery Outlet I've ever been too! Puts the Bellingham one to shame. Super clean and everything was stocked and fronted as it should be. I'll be taking the trip out to Ferndale from now on. Sort friendly people as well.

I can count on someone to help me. Sometimes before I even ask. Everyone is pleasant , helpful, Been going their years since there begining in Ferndale. Will always be my number one grocery store. Gotten the feeling of family store. Not something others stores have in our area at all.

For the most part, prices are cheaper than Fred Meyer and definitely cheaper than Hagen.Selection is never the same, but you can come across good deals.Shop wisely.

Had to stop by here yesterday to on my way to visit some family. I never make posts like these because I don't like putting peoples personal names on reviews, in order to protect their privacy, but I just want to highlight a hardworking, funny and professional cashier, Madison S! Yesterday was pretty stressul as the December holiday season can be for a lot of people. I was already in a mood, and with all the bad drivers and being stuck behind people driving distracted on their smartphones nearly crashing into me or not going when the light turns green--only exacerbated it. I even despised going into the store to get some items because I didn't want to deal with the crowd of (many sickly) people on top of having to go back out to drive in the terrible congested traffic. So I wasn't expecting a good shopping experience.However, going through the cashier line here and exchanging a funny convo with Madison turned that around and made my day better so by the time I went to visit family, I was able to get into a positive mindset. She was professional, greeted me and told me to have a nice day afterward. Even though my day was intense, I can't imagine what Madison's or other cashiers here were like, or their week in general here during this stressful peak holiday shopping time with how rude customers (and sickly-- coughing everywhere near / on the food) can be as they do their holiday food shopping at grocery stores. The fact that she was able to keep a positive attitude for her job, even though people can be so rude and nasty to her and other cashiers, was inpsiring and something that should be highlighted. Just one simple act of kindness or humor can make peoples day a little better, especially in times like these where people are so dang rude to others.As for the food items available here, they have some good gluten-free options for a little cheaper prices than many other stores. Depending on availablity, they have also some nice rare gluten-free finds that you usually don't find at other stores. :)

Don't come expecting certain products to be in stock, there is little consistency to the products available, but enjoy the variety they offer from all over the u.s. price is on par with winco

I can usually find enough good stuff to fill up my basket, and the price always beats other stores. Some items are only slightly discounted while others can be over 90% off. Grocery Outlet also has a nice gluten free selection.

Much, much, much nicer experience with checkers, store cleanliness, and food options than Lynden or Bellingham locations. This might now be the only Grocery Outlet we will shop at.

Went today to use a food voucher from my kids school but I didn’t need the $13 I had left over because there wasn’t food there my family liked that much. When checking out the manager insulted my way of thinking and basically judged me while checking out for not using the whole 50$. I was in a rush, there wasn’t that much of a selection of things my family would eat so I don’t appreciate being judged at a grocery store that I didn’t even want to shop at in the first place. Maybe change management.

I hadn't been here in a couple months. BIG MISTAKE! I went today and got paper products, fruit, frozen items, fresh bread, meat, snacks, and even little wheel chips that I always buy in California at the markets. So the way you eat them is to put a little salsa (tapatio) on them and a squeeze of lime over it all. Yummy. The cashier was very polite and got my items through quickly.

As far as discount grocery stores go, this one is great. There are deep discounts on so many interesting (and tasty) things. The drawback, of course, is you might never be able to buy the items again. But it's the price you pay 🤷‍♀️. The staff are helpful and the company seems to be pretty rooted in the community, trying to give back and help spread the word about local events. Plus, their indoor sign is like the Metallica bridge 🤘

I would give a full 5 stars only had a better selection of food items. Because of a smaller premise and shelving I come for the “specials” but will continue on to Fred Myers in Bellingham to complete my full order which has a greater selection but not necessarily in price. I have never left here disappointed as the checkout staff are so kind and friendly.

Good selection, good prices, okay staff but not very knowledgeable about products (the adult employees are pretty good, but the teenagers have terrible attitudes and are lazy, especially the girls). It can be hard to find stuff sometimes and the employees aren't very helpful, don't even bother asking one of the teens you'll get a blank stare, possible eye roll, and no valuable information with no offer to find the help you request...They act like "good luck, your guess is as good as mine, now stop bothering me I was slow motion stocking". I love finding unusual, healthy, natural goodies at very competitive prices and their selection of vegetarian/Vegan options is actually really good and very well priced!

Fun place to look for great prices. You never know what gem you might find. Staff was friendly and helpful. I do recommend. ...be sure to give yourself time to look hard or you might miss a one of a kind. (We found a Hogwarts glass measuring cup)

We up to the cashier. Lane 1. She and her boxer are whinging about the boxers experience at a dentist-- in the customer aisle. I wait patiently 5 minutes for them so i can check out. They start boxing and checking out my groceries while complaining about the CUSTOMER SERVICE the boxer got at a dentist- they never once said hi to me or acknowleged me as if they are doing a service for me out of the kindnest of their hearts.I felt very ignored, not valued, not acknowleged. The cashies takes the receipt circles it and looks at me briefly like I am putting her out having to take up her time. NEVER Again will I go here.I know it's a college rude town with many poor elderly but as a 66 year old man I have ALOT of choices where I waste my gas, time and money on groceries ans it ain't going to be here.

I seriously feel like my family would starve if it wasn't for GO lol. Seriously always great deals and I'm an organic gal and they always have a great natural foods selection at an unbeatable price. Staff make you feel like family and the whole experience is so helpful for my busy day.
