I have passed this place for years without stopping in. Finally did and enjoyed it a lot. Walked my dog 1st in the park next to it. Then got a made to order 6" sub (they make 12" & sandwiches too). They have dine in, tables outside & takeaway. Decided to enjoy it on a bench in the park. Afterwards bought two different types of their outstanding ice cream. They have a yogurt bar and hand scoops as well. All around a great experience and the staff was very helpful, friendly and efficient

Freshest, cheapest milk around! Chocolate milk is some of the best I've had. Greek yogurt bar is great and has a different variety daily. Soft serve ice cream is creamy and delicious. Not a fan of their other ice cream or ice cream cakes they seem to have ice shavings mixed in. Be sure if something is on sale that it rings up right. sandwiches are amazing! And so are the double chocolate dipped fruit in a 3lb bag. Ok I'm hungry now .I'm going...

Love this place, actually I love all 3 of the Edaleens I've visited! We drive down from White Rock pretty regularly to pick up an after dinner ice cream cone. Prices are amazing (even with the high exchange rate) and their portions are very generous. This location is super easy to get to, right off of I-5. Looking forward to more sunny days and ice cream!

This place was a nightmare today. Went in for milk and stood in line under "Moo've here for service" line. Instead of managing the line, the counter folks created two additional lines at each register, so the correct middle line never got waited on. On top of that there was not enough help and the two running register were new and did not know how to work the register. Then the guy making sandwiches says we're in the wrong line. I said what do you have the sign up for. Unbelievable poor service.

I will drive 2 hours for a heavenly treat like this! Fudgy Wudgy is tasty and the Mango is superb! Their yogurt is also amazing so I took some to go; along with a quart of Eggnog and Fudgy Wudgy to share with my housemates. . . or not🤪 I would recommend getting the 3 gallon bucket for any party in your future.So creamy. . .made from real cream and real fruit/ingredients; not just flavoring. I can't wait to come back in the summer for some Peachy goodness?Cowe enjoyed the visit there too🐄This place has received Cowe's hoof of approval 🐮

I will drive 20 miles to get the Very Berry Sundae with Tin Roof ice cream because it's that good 😋. Also I really appreciate the affordable prices on fresh dairy products from cows I drove by on the way to the store 😁

Today, I visited Edaleen Dairy ice cream shop, after lying to my two sons that I was just going to get a coffee before meeting them at the grandparents' place. I had noble intentions of not ordering anything, but immediately upon entering realized the futility of such an intention. I ordered a Peanut Butter Cup for $4.99. It was amazing. It was everything that a Canadian Diary Queen dessert is not, even when you give the employee the universal "don't-be-stingy-with-the-toppings" wink and nod. This sundae had an easy half inch of hot fudge at the bottom of the cup, not to mention the quarter cup of melted peanut butter topping and additional pound and a half of crumbled peanut butter candy, plus the required whipped cream and cherry on top. The ice cream itself, made in-store, probably tasted fresh and delicious. I don't remember too much, as my vision tunnelled and I began to feel my pancreas crank up like a cold-choked engine. I certainly don't blame Edaleen Dairy for the sugary goodness in each of the delicious toppings on this sundae, as they are undoubtedly within FDA standards. I would simply caution folks with blood-sugar issues to not be lured by the siren smell of waffle cones, as I was. That said, I will most certainly visit again, once the sweats stop. 4 out of 5 stars.

While we’ve been trying to avoid travel to the United States lately, we occasionally head south of the border because we can’t find the same diversity of products in Vancouver. On one such trip, we stopped by Edaleen Dairy in Ferndale to grab some ice cream since the weather was so hot.Named after Ed and Aileen Bransma back in 1975, Edaleen has 5 locations now and serves up both soft serve and hard ice cream. Their Blueberry Vanilla Swirl soft serve ice cream is as tasty and as refreshing as you could imagine.We also grabbed a serving of their Rocky Road hard ice cream. The “single” scoop that we received was rich and tasty but left something to be desired in their presentation skills.The ice cream here is really good and they also serve up sundaes as well.

Love this little local dairy shop! I’ve been crossing the border just to come here for years. Their ice cream is so good and they have friendly staff.I always get their coffee milkshake as the coffee ice cream here is the best I’ve tried. They also have ice cream cakes that taste exactly like (if not better) than the ones at Dairy Queen and much more affordable. If you don’t want to commit to a full 8” cake, they also have “traditional cupcakes” which are mini versions of the cake.Their service and ice cream quality has been consistent over the years. This is a must-visit for me every time.

I was really disappointed. They were out of cherries and brownies, which is fine but the guy didn't tell me til after it was made and I asked about the missing ingredients. I would have ordered something else.Speaking of the cashier, he was very young, kind of rude, and obviously had no idea what he was doing. He was staring at the wall charts to see how to make the sundaes we ordered. It made me really anxious that he had no idea what he was doing.Sundae was ok but for the price I was so sad. Won't be back

I drop in for milk and eggs, and of course you can't go in without getting some Ice Crean too.The place is always spotless, service is as good as it gets - their eggs are the best with regards to Freshness and Flavor and they have Jumbo's.If you've never been there, you really ought to try them out, they havethe best sandwiches too

Wanted to give five stars, because it's Edaleen Dairy! But their ice cream isn't 100% as good as it used to be, and the cones are about a 1/3 the size they used to be. That said, it's still a cool spot, the sandwiches are really good, and the customer service is top notch, as always.

Love this ice cream shop! The only thing I want to mention is that I often don't get the flavors I ask for on the cone. For ex. I am given coffee instead of cookies and coffee, cookie dough instead of Oreo. It's a little odd since they have been at times when it isn't busy or loud. Just thought I'd pass it along, otherwise a great shop!

Have an amazing assortment of various dairy products, including ice cream, milk, cheese, etc.They also have various items made by other local businesses, like Chuckanut Bay Cheesecake, who have a variety of delicious flavors! The customer service is very good and consistent.I'll continue to shop there because prices are much cheaper than other stores in Whatcom County who sell Edallen's products (probably cause you're buying from the source )!

Great I've cream. Great service. Friendly and kind hearted staff. When my boys went in with our card that didn't stem to work, the ladies there paid for their I've cream from their tip jar. Now I don't expect them to be able to do a kind hearted deed like this for two young boys often, it sure put a smile on my children's face!

I like the variety of ice cream flavors they have. They also have ice cream tubs available to purchase. They offer shakes too. Fun environment to sit in and fulfill your sweet tooth.
