This is more than a store. It's a community. The staff are as friendly as you can find, anywhere. It's a place we as a family feel like we are visiting while shopping. I honestly have to say that being remembered, feeling valued beyond just a another customer, is what sets this business apart from most sterile retail. Wish they weren't so far away, would shop here more often.

This is our go to spot for our animal needs. With a dog, cat and goats it's really helpful to have a local store to get everything we need. They don't have a huge selection of plants, but they have always met my last minute garden needs as well. Helpful and kind staff that really know their stuff..

Great customer service. Quality products. Happy fat cats- that choose favorite cat food to put on sale (opening and sampling bags). Nearly always have what I am looking for. Or points me in the right direction. For animals, pests, gardens, and footwear. And some really sweet chicks chirping at this time of year.

I always have a great experience when I stop in this location. The staff is super helpful, always helping me find whatever I may need. Also they have popcorn and coffee for customers. The bathroom is always clean too. Oh and the resident cats are just the sweetest.

The cashier was extremely helpful as well as the manager on duty. I was looking for a specific item to rid pet odor and they were very knowledgeable. I was very happy with the service here and will definitely be back to do more of my pet shopping here.

This is a small store but it has a great selection of farm and pet items and also has some really cute and unique Christmas decorations and gifts. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because most the staff here is not real friendly and every time I have a question, they act like I should already know such things. However, that's why I go to a bit more pricey store rather than big-box, to get my questions answered as I'm not the expert. This Ferndale location is more convenient for me but after my last visit, I'm going to stick with the Bellingham location where they are more helpful and genuine.

Has good prices on splint boots and litter boxes. Wish they had a bigger selection of horse tack. Their coffee was yummy 😋 Friendly and helpful staff.

Extremely rude staff this evening. I was told my mask didn’t fit tight enough across the bridge of my nose, even though it was clearly covering my nose. Meanwhile, the lady in front of me at checkout was literally wearing a “non”mask made of lace. The checkout girls said not a word to her about her mask while I stood a proper 6 feet away from her being insulted. I was told I should shop elsewhere if their policy didn’t align with my views. My views? Funny, I didn’t share my views with any of them so I’m unsure how they would know my “views.” This was very presumptuous and rude. I’ve found most staff there to be very kind but not tonight. I left with some high blood pressure being insulted by these two...

Friendly staff and pretty good selection. But I feel sorry for their very overweight cat. Really unhealthy to allow our pets to get fat. It takes years off of their lives. (Just like humans)Do it a favor and feed it smaller portions of one of the healthy foods you carry. And no table scraps! 😿

Everyone is very helpful, quick, and efficient. I bought their kindling and when I brought my vehicle to the warehouse entrance. The employee was waiting for me with the boxes of kindling. Great store, products and people.

I always like to shop at the co-op for my farm needs. The staff are usually very courteous and helpful. Their selection is decent, not as big as some of the other branches, but still good.

Went in for chicks and was told I must pay first. When I turned around they had chosen my chicks for me. Poor form IMHO.INSIST on choosing your own. I ended up with two roosters of Black Sex link.Until about January 2016 the staff was informative and helpful. Current staff on weekends has little to no personal experience and does little more than read labels when asked questions.

It's local. It's great. Get on board or get out. Great fresh produce and local goods. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Warning people may smile and talk to you with genuine interest if you shop here , without first become Facebook friends or checking out how many followers you have. Back in the day if some one was following you, we would call them a stalker and try and have them arrested. Now people do all the work for the stalkwrs in order for people to stalk follow them. How odd, eh # First world problems

This store is so cute the cats here are sweet and everyone petted my puppy. They drew a kitty face onto the security camera monitor. If that doesn't prove their priorities are straight I don't know what does.

We love it here, great prices on Kong toys for dogs, grain free dog food, and we always fill the gas tank here too! Staff is great, and the cat is great.

They are ok. I like the feed store on peace Portal better. A little less expensive, very friendly and eager to help and larger . I do like their emu oil for pets,wfc.

This store has the most bizarre parking setup. I'd advise you to park closer to the gas station. If toy park in the angled spots facing the LaBounty road, you'll get trapped in a one way dead end that's marked (poorly) for employees only. One told us to move from an unmarked spot to one marked for employees because the signs were wrong. It's an awkward turnaround and impossible with incoming traffic.The store is setup like others, but we were never greeted or approached by employees. Checkout was sweet but I sure won't make a special trip to this Ferndale location.

4th visit to this location. Unsure if it's racially based or just plain rudeness, but the clerks do not return smiles or greetings, and are short & terse. All four visits.As I previously had an account and the cashier asked about "an account", I then attempted to verify if she meant my WFC credit, and was met with an unkind response & incredulous look like I was unintelligent.I'm half white, but maybe that's not enough? Heh. Ferndale.Despite being a convenient location for our pricey dog food, I'll go elsewhere from here forward.

The staff is great and know their stuff all kinds of things from hats to sacks of grain so if u have animals or a big cousin named (hey dude) shop their for all your farming needs ect.....

Good place to buy pet food (cat, dog, rodent, bird, chicken and horse) As well as wild bird and squirrel food, lots of gardening and other hobby things (bee keeping, egg hatching stuff, etc.) and lots of fence supplies (poles, chicken wire, other metal meshing) and gumboots for all ages.

Bought a 2' X 2' X 6' trough. I already had 3 for a raised vegetable garden. This was my 4th one. Next year I will put vertical PVC pipes for strawberries.
