I walked in they were rushed and not so friendly I called last week for grooming for my maltipoo of 7 months they said $60 when I cashed out they charged me $100 because they had shaved down her hair cuz of a couple of knots you would think it would be cheaper since they don't have to stand there and scissor cut her hair and they didn't trim her face and made her look like she has a big mustache. Ridiculous! Lost a customer and this is how they left her.

This is a decent dog groomer, got my dog the full bath and haircut deal and the spritzer and all that and she came out looking and smelling great and seemed to be happy about the experience. Haircut was great and it's a bit more expensive here but worth the extra attention they give your dog. Oh yeah my dog is a 9 pound Yorkshire terrier whose very feisty at times. They handled my dog well. Only complaint is the price of stuff in the store, way over priced, spent over $40 on a 4-5' leash that my dog hates, she didn't much like they're overpriced treats either. As for grooming id recommend them though.

The level of customer service that me and my furry ones receive “Oh my”. I just love these guys. We will never go to any other groomer after coming here. They are so soft when handling my fur babies. I have not the nicest breed of little ones but this place sure knows how to keep them calm.

It cost us proper money to wash our dog by ourselves. They provided shampoo, conditioner, dryer and towels that you need. That was our first time using this service here, and the staff was very helpful and kind. One of them helped our dog shaved his furs with adequate care and profession.

Incredible store. More than a store, a place where you can talk to experts about your fur baby and get advice for a path forward. Hands down the best specialty store I have ever been too. You get what you pay for here. I highly recommend

I love this place gave me everything I needed to wash my puppy was super helpful. The whole way made sure I had the right shampoo and conditioner and was able to do a sanitary trim. Very reasonably priced will come back again.

We went to the one in University Place and loved it so we tried this one closer to our home...big mistake. The set up is nice but the customer service was not. We requested a nail clipping and the lady cut the nail too short which caused our pup to bleed quite a bit and she was not helpful in resolving her mistake. Once we got out of the bath our pup began bleeding again and we asked the other staff member for help which she did but was not friendly about it. I will NOT be returning.

We get our two shi tzu groomed here and they do a wonderful job ! We also use the self bath for our Belgian , we get her nails cut here too. I LOVE that I don’t have to make an appointment for a nail trim .. The staff is very attentive and helpful . I love Soggy Doggy !!

Well groomer service is good that the only thung can keep their business running. However in my opinion, customs service is important too; the receptionist or schedulers are the worst. They look like they try to help you out but in fact nothing get done. Always sound rush on the phone and no problem will be solved they will transfer you around but no one can help you out at the end.

So id like to say. This place isnt a place you should trust. When I first took my 2 little dogs here, it was such a nice experience. This place does grooming right. But the treatment is bad. So do yourself a favor, and dont go to this place. They will mistreat your dog and make excuses it was not them.Heres why, over the course within a year, overtime i kept getting complaints that my dogs were “biting”. My dogs dont bite, but they do however just nibble very gently. (Note: they take HEMP to relax them before an appointment.) One day one of my dogs came back with a bleeding nose. They claimed he hit himself. Never in my life I’ve seen my dog hit himself where he started to bleed from the nose. And he bled over the course of the day. Crazy right? I sent a complaint that my dog definitely was in some way treated badly by the groomer. I got the news, the groomer was let go.Overtime, i started to drift away and went to other grooming businesses. Crazy enough, they always told me my dogs did good throughout the cut. And had no issues. But here and there i would make an appointment here and they complained about my dogs. Lastly they said they couldnt groom my dogs no more. Cool, i can give my money to real groomers where they have always said my dogs did well.

Update: I'm truly disappointed in the downturn of Soggy Doggy. At the end of January, I brought my dog to get groomed again and that was the last time. They called me prior to that appt to reschedule a couple of times since they were overbooked and lost a couple of their groomers. When I finally dropped off my dog for his appt, Soggy Doggy said they would call me about 20 minutes from pick up. Nearly 4 hours later (I knew they were busy, so I gave them some extra time)I hadn't heard, so I called them and they said my dog was ready. I was surprised they hadn't called like they usually did but again gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I picked up my senior dog (he's 14 now), the groomer was very curt. She said he had fallen off the grooming table a couple of times because she wasn't "used to grooming senior dogs." I was flummoxed at this. How in the world does a dog just fall off the grooming table? What was she doing where he was unsupervised? Then the groomer said and I quote "I'm not used to grooming senior dogs. At least he's clean and his hair is cut." I was shocked. Absolutely shocked. When I went to pay, I asked how long my dog was done before I called them and they said for about an hour! An hour? Then another employee got defensive and said they called and texted me and they left a message and they were so busy that day. I checked my phone in front of them and confirmed I did not have a text or a voicemail. They also confirmed they had the right number, so it seemed improbable to me they actually called and texted. The fact that they were defensive and NOT apologetic meant they hadn't called or texted at all.This was such a negative experience for me. Most dog owners would agree that our dogs are like family. This was appalling. The fact that Soggy Doggy had a high turnover of groomers was telling. And why in the world would a groomer groom a dog they are not comfortable with? I've taken my dog to get groomed every 2 months for 14 years and this was the worst experience.----Review 8 months ago...I'm extremely pleased with the grooming services at the Soggy Doggy. Micah did an incredible job in grooming my 13 year old Shih Tzu - he looks adorable. The shop is clean, the staff are friendly, scheduling grooming services was a breeze, and honestly the prices are very competitive (in a good way!) for the area. Great and easy location to get to with ample parking. Highly recommend!

My dog Benny is about 70lbs big dog! And they had easy access up to the tub they had shampoos for your needs. Towels or blow dryer everything was easy to use. Gave us our own aprons, even had a scrubby to use. Solid place, I seen staff doing constant check ins and cleaning up

Well, I wish I had a better experience. I've scheduled a grooming appointment with these folks a while back. I spaced and missed the appointment.I was told that they had a no call/no show policy and that I needed to pay a deposit fee to schedule the next appointment. I did so, for today 8/10/83 (my birthday!), and I had the appointment down for 1pm in my phone. Again, this was a mistake on my part, for I apparently marked it down incorrectly.I called under this impression, spoke with a nice woman over the phone to provide the details for our pets vaccinations and see what we needed to do for this. She advised me that I missed my second appointment. I apologized pretty heavily, told them I was a bit scatterbrained leading up to my b-day, and asked if I might be able to reschedule.I was hoping that a mistake would allow me the fee back, but I didn't go asking for that, so I took it as a loss. It was my fault, and these folks had been so nice before. I've gotten my dogs nails clipped there like 2-3 times and they are always so sweet to him. So despite what was in my opinion a bit of a harsh policy, I still very much wanted to get the chance to still do business with them.She warned me that if I had a 3rd no show they may not want to see me again. I told her that I understood completely, apologized again, and she penned me in for the 8/12/23 at 2pmI got a call 10 minutes later from the same woman, advising me that some other party, that I didn't catch the title for, made the decision to not schedule any further appointments with me. I took it gracefully, I didn't take it out on her, and I wished her a good day. She even apologized for giving me this news on a day like today.I work for a small company, I get people that call in with completely unreasonable requests, and as the supervisor, tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. I didn't get that here. It's a shame because they are so close to where I live, and they're so good to my dog.I don't know, I guess I am too much of a liability to risk a 3rd appointment.

Luna enjoyed some mud puddles at the dog park and was a stinky muddy mess! This was our 2nd time at Soggy Doggy and my first without someone with me. But I did it! (With help from a staff person who helped me attach Luna to the tub. ) it was actually fun. They provide the shampoo and conditioner! The sprayer was fun.

Been a customer for years and arrived 10 minutes late to a groom at 10 am when they opened and called before and was told it was ok. Drove over 30 min to get there to be told the groomer had mad a personal vet appointment during her work shift which is extremely unprofessional and she turned us back because she had to leave and that 10 minutes was too much for her. Maybe dont make personal appointments during a work shift like a regular human being. Lost a customer today.

I took my service dog in for a full service groom. Our "groomer" Kathy came up and without introducing herself grabbed my dog. My dog did what she's trained to do when a stranger grabs at her and pressed up against my legs. When I informed the woman who at the time I had no idea was a groomer that she was making me and my dog uncomfortable she stormed off after snapping "I'm a groomer" in my face. She was extremely unprofessional. Even after that awful interaction I was still willing to try and have her handed to a different groomer but Amy decided because my dog would be groomed for4 hours she did not want to do it. I went in willing to pay whatever it took to have my girl treated well but left with a scared dog who still needs to be groomed. Save your money and go to Petco. They're cheaper and hire groomers who know how to be professional.

Absolute best full service grooming experience we have ever had!! All special needs of our blind, senior dog were noted and accommodated thoroughly. Staff is incredibly friendly and our Marie looks adorable. No prior service was ever able to find the right style for her and I couldnt believe it was my little angel when I picked her up. The whole process took less than an hour so she wasn't stuck in a cage all day. We have found our groomer for life!!

We brought our 2 frenchies in today for nail trims. I haven’t been able to do it myself at home, so we walked in and we’re greeted and treated right away! One of our dogs (1.5yo female) is nervous and was uncooperative, but they managed to at least get the back paws done this time - we agreed it would be best to split up the session to make it easier on my girl. As for our more cooperative dog (3.5yo boy), the person who clipped his nails did a great job - when I have gone other places the nails were left rough and splintery, but this time they were very smooth even without being filed.The staff was very nice and professional and made me feel welcome even though we had a rough time with our girl! I will definitely be returning and hopefully over time our dog will cooperate better when she gets more used to the routine.Thank you so much Soggy Doggy staff!!!!!!!!!

We have been to The Soggy Doggy in Federal Way several times in the past with other dogs but this was our first self groom with our puppy. It was an experience that went well with the help of the staff there. Their kindness and understanding was beyond measure. Thanks for your help on Sunday, July 9, around noon. I know that it will get easier 👍🏻

I've only been to one other location, and honestly this one paled in comparison. The shop didn't seem as clean as it could be. The young man that was available to help me ended up cutting my dog's nails too short and I ended up with blood all over my seats :( he was apologetic when I called him out on it, but looking back at the situation, he didn't seem all that comfortable/knowledgeable about how his job was to be done.

We were a new customer. I scheduled an appointment and when I took time out of my day to bring my dog in, I was told they lost my appointment. And rather than trying to do what they could to keep me as a customer, the lady just kept trying to figure out who exactly scheduled it. At that point, why does it matter? You lost the appointment. How about you try to correct the situation instead? All she said was that they had nothing else available. Very rude and clueless

My Boi , was extremely vocal throughout his bathtime and the staff was helpful getting us set up , I didn't feel like we were an issue , we felt comfortable, unrushed and clean by the time we left ... They do have all the supplies needed towels , shampoo and the price was so good ..shut up and take my money , my boy showed his appreciation right before we left and twinkled on the floor and the employees was like it's ok , we got you ... 🐾🖤 I was completely soaked but my Boi smelled so good , love that there is a great selection of toys, snacks, they even make special birthday cakes

we went to take my partners service dog for full service grooming, Kathy came out and immediately grabbed the dog, which freaked her out. Her training is to ignore strangers till there introduced and being grabbed has happened in public before, and has been traumatic for her. My partner asked her to not do that, and Kathy stormed off and pouted (and litterally only said "I'm your groomer" as she stormed off) Amy came out and tried to take the pup, and was introduced appropriately but, after an explanation told us if the dog is that skittish (meaning a dog who will refuse to go with somone who grabs her and tries to pull her away) that they will not groom her.This is completely unprofessional and not the experience we have had at any other groomer. If they want to be aggressive they probubly shouldn't be a groomer. If they want to close ranks and gaslight that this is an appropriate way to act, they shouldn't have any business.

I took my very fearful rescue here for a nail trimming and it could not have gone smoother! The tech was extremely understanding and we were in and out of there super quick. I love that they allow pet owners to stay with their animals while they are getting the service done. I will most definitely be back!

We absolutely love taking our two dogs to Soggy Doggy! The staff has always been fro and often go out of their way to accommodate our boys during bath time.I highly recommend using their self service dog bathing stations, and their nail trimming services.
