Canines appeared well-groomed; however, there is an opportunity for improvement in staff courtesy. Despite having an early appointment, I encountered a delay in receiving assistance due to the staff not being prepared to commence their shift. Additionally, I noticed unevenness in the hair around my dog's eyes, which I had to rectify myself. Despite these shortcomings, the overall grooming outcome was satisfactory.

Wendy set me up with the plan to save me money she's such a blessing she went through everything and explained it each step. Thank you also the 2 ladies did our grooming on Faith and Patches were fantastic all deserve raises.

I like Petco because the front desk and groomers here are always so pleasant. I recommend calling ahead for availability even for a walk-in. I never have to wait too long. They are prompt, quick and detailed. Great job 👍

Starla is the best groomer in the world VERY EXPERIENCED and over the top good customer service and she cares for my dog like it is her own if I had had even more to tip I would have she is the 10 best you have never sèn a groomer like her the manager should give her a big raise

When you schedule an appointment your not actually scheduling an appointment, it’s a scheduled drop off time. There is no where to wait and they’ll call you “in a few hours”. You have to pay for a VIP for them to actually honor your appointment time. All we had scheduled was a bath and trim of the butt/private areas for our corgis along with nail trimming and the paw pads hair.Staff was nice and friendly. I do not blame them for this 1 star review. We had an medical appointment in Tacoma in 2.5hours and dropping and picking up wouldn’t work for us as I expected it to take maybe 1.5 hours max for services we scheduled. We ended up leaving with our dogs and will find another groomer that respects the idea of appointment times.

I brought my labradoodle 2 days ago to this facility for the first time for a wash, haircut, expressed glands, etc. His face was bleeding due to cuts. I noticed his skin was raw by his abdomen today. This has never happened at any other grooming appointment elsewhere. The technician didn’t even apologize or give me a heads up.Yesterday, he had a physical at Banfield. They had to do another gland expression because it wasn’t done properly at grooming. I had to pay an additional $35.00 for this.0/5 stars. Take your dogs elsewhere.

Took my dog here for grooming before family came to visit. What you sign up for online is apparently not what you actually get. I was in a rush, and just needed it done, so I just shelled out the extra money for it to just be done.Pick her up and they've cut straight thru all her kwiks and her nails are SHORT. Yes, I know they were long going in, but there's no need to cut them That short when her kwiks were that long.Well turns out she also came home with fleas.

The groomer exceeded my expectations on the cut. I watched the last few minutes of the grooming and was delighted to see my dog treater with consideration. She appeared relaxed and comfortable. Very good.

We had both of our yorkies groomed at the same time and they came out with cuts that were not only completely different, but uneven and raggedy looking. Not only that, but we had extra charges that no one talked to us about ahead of time. Also, my husband specifically told them to call him, as I am a teacher and can’t always answer my phone, yet they called me and left a message that I didn’t get, so our dogs were there for 4 hours before they even started grooming them. We will not be back.

Best groomers I have taken my two chihuahuas to. They are very knowledgeable about giving each dog the special care they need. We have taken them regularly every week for about 2 months now. Julia is the best! She really cares about both dogs and wants to be kept up to date on how they are doing each week.

I love Eva! She is Miata's favorite, Eva always listens and cares about the health of the pet. I've never had a bad experience with her, I travel from the North Seattle area just to come down to Federal Way for her service because of the great customer service and quality of her work. I will always recommend her to my friends and other pet parents. She really is the best!

We have been using Petco Grooming for quite a while since looking for a good value in pet grooming for our Yorkie. They have always done a fantastic job and more reasonable price than pretty much anywhere else we have found. I have had issues that the pricing on the website does not match the actual charges when you get in store... Cut/Shampoo for example shows as $46 but is really more like $52 or so when I get to the store - it all depends on how long the hair of the dog is and how short you are asking it to be cut... (can they just buzz or do they have to use scissors essentially is what it comes down to)

Eva was the wonderful person that tended to our dog during our visit. She took the time to get to know my dog and catered to his needs. To be more specific my dog doesn’t like crates...at all. She let him sit in the room with the stylists instead of leaving him in a crate to freak out. It sounds cliché but I would give it a 20/10 if it was possible because it was above and beyond any other experience. This was my dogs second time going to the salon and the first time was at PetSmart down the street. He was terrified after the visit at PetSmart. After the visit at Petco he was hype and he had such a good time. Eva took the time to get to know my dog and even gave him a personalized treatment to suit his needs. After the visitor she told me all about this visit and how to get him more use to getting his nails cut.(he hates it but she did a great job) She was very personable and did a great job of up-selling me on a better but not in a pushy way. To be honest I was scared my dog would freak because of his last experience of getting groomed but he loved it. I can’t wait to take my dog back. If you’re looking for a great groomer, ask for Eva. She’s the best!

The groomers really listen to what we want for our dogs haircuts. They do an amazing job every time. I also like that even though we have to wait a little to get an appointment, they are not overbooking so instead of a 5 hour appointment, it's closer to 3 hours and they still looks as good as ever.

We came as a drop in for nails and decided last minute to ask for a bath. The groomer checking us in assured us adding baths to both our dog's nail buffing was no problem even without an appointment. They were done within the estimated 2 hours and looked great and carefree when we picked them up.

I was very impressed with Tisha. She was very sweet with our doggies, especially Ziggy who can be a bit of a handful. Also, she gave an excellent cut for both Marley and Ziggy. We will definitely be back.

You guys do a great job. New to Federal Way only had them groomed at this location twice. By far the BEST of the Petco grooming we've gotten anywhere. Wish I remembered the groomers names bc I'd certainly give them a mention here.

I came in on Saturday, I told the groomer what I wanted for my puppy, and showed her pictures and she even mentioned “teddy bear” look. There was NO teddy bear look and the only thing she did was cut everything one size. It kinda was like she had the clippers and went all over with the same number. I would NOT bring my puppy here again and I will make sure I tell everyone about my experience. I should’ve read the reviews before I brought him here. Worst of all my husband gave her tip because he felt bad!

My dog gets excited as soon as she sees the Petco sign. She wants to hurry in, and when she sees Shaina, she gets so wound up. It's comforting to know that I'm leaving her in the hands of someone she loves. And Shaina always does an amazing job. She looks (and smells) great!

Took our dog in for a nail trim. I explained she has a torn acl in back leg and is nervous about getting her nails done. I was told not to come back for us to go to a vet .
