I'd like to give a big shout out to all Federal Way Mud Bay employees. I've gone there a few times with my daughter Jaclyn who works there and everyone is so nice and friendly with a great smile and ready to help you find what you need. I love to go there when I go visit. My dogs love Turkey Tendons and the Lamb Lung. We also get food for my kittens. Thank you all so much for your great service.

It's my favorite pet store by far! This specific location has very friendly and helpful staff. They were eager to help and knowledgeable. You don't get that service at the larger chain stores.

Small shop with some great offerings. Employees seemed disinterested in customers until they walked up to checkout. Didn't feel like a welcoming shop, but it could have just been an off day

The staff are very helpful and are more than happy to talk about their pets and your pets. The selection is great and I like that they have many local products as well as good name brands. The cat toy selection is unreal, much better than the big chain stores.

I love the “muddies” here! Everyone is always so helpful. Including when I think I don’t need help! I was having issues with the food I was feeding my chihuahua and they were able to give me great advice. Once I switched over I had a very happy doggo!

As usual Year after year. Empty upon more empty shelves. Never have what we need. But oh you can drive 20-30 more miles to go purchase from another store . Nah I think we’re good. Don’t give me oh supply chain issues. Kiwi kitchens has been out for months at a time. It cause you don’t know how to order merchandise. If you know your stores are going to sell out of it then purchase 2 cargo containers worth. So when your Stores run out you have backup. Kind of like Christmas toys. Always sold out sometimes even before December. Oh what about 4th of July ? Always out of calmatives. But year after year goes by and same old BS. Store staff tell you Year after year and it always falls on deaf ears. What happened to the family feeling ? Now it’s corporate greed ! You should be ashamed !

It's a pet food store. Nice people and very good customer service.We are switching to a canned dog food and they let us take a sample set to see which one works best for our dogs. That made us feel like they actually care about our pets not just making a few bucks.

So awesome! My daughter and I stopped in while the wife was shopping at a different store in the strip mall. Dara greeted us, super friendly and was genuinely interested in our cat and what he might like for a toy. We talked a bit and she suggested a stuffed banana... LOL, yes a stuffed banana. I told her he wouldn't be interested, not that kind of cat. She said give it a try and if it doesn't work out bring it back. Brought it home and he absolutely loves it. Throwing it around, pouncing on it... Amazing! He played with and later brought into his tree house.Go there, talk with Dara... She'll get ya what you need.

I come to this location all time and spend close to $150 every visit. Today by far was the worst experience with a particular cashier, Jaclyn. I had to tell her to enter my phone number to log my purchase and then asked for treats for two dogs which is routine every time I checked out. She gave me one sample packet and said that’s plenty for two dogs. I was appalled as those samples are so insignificant in comparison to how much business I give the store. It’s so pointless to be stingy like that.

I love how helpful the staff was and while there a man brought in his puppy and even held the leash so he could shop. Now as far as selection, they had a ton of things my puppy Odin loved vs Petsmart where he was not interested in treats or food they had to offer. The price was higher than the other stores mentioned but the products such as chew toys were of great quality so worth paying a Lil more. Also had a lot of tester items which was great. Now the only downside I saw was the same as other comments of out-of-stock of fast-selling items. They didn't have any buckets for the treats which was unfortunate cause I have a puppy and need them for training.The big question would I recommend and the answer is YES, Keep in mind not the place if on a budget and they do run out of items fast if they even have in stock. So check it out and I guarantee you will find something your pet will love.
