Made an appointment groomer called me the night before to reschedule because employee threw back out. Rescheduled my dog for two weeks out. I found out there was a conflict with the rescheduled time. I called immediately after finding out and tried to reschedule . Another two weeks was all they could offer. When I said I can't go a month they were fine letting me go and were completely smug about it. I get being busy, but it wasn't my fault, and no need to be smug.

The ladies take very good care of my furry best friend and their prices on services are better than most places I've tried or called. Can't go wrong here. Actually the only place I trust my puppy for pampering treatment!!!

I made a scheduled grooming 2 weeks ago and added the date and time to my calendar as I spoke to the person and was crystal clear on date and time on the phone and I called to say I’m arriving 10min late due to i5 lane closure that I couldn’t account for and the lady said it was 2 hours before the scheduled appointment was extremely rude and gave me an attitude when I didn’t give her an attitude! They also never called me at 11 to ask if I’m coming in. Never again am I driving 45min away for this place!!!! Horrible customer service! HORRIBLE!!!!!! The grooming isn’t the best either!!!! came here because I love the fact that they don’t kennel the dogs but I will always support good customer service and this was not it! I live in west Seattle came here because I don’t like my dog kenneled but never again!!!!! And right before the holidays!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

On Jan 23 2024, we had an appointment at 10am. We hang around in federal way shopping. Well it was 12:15 haven’t heard from them. We go in and they said another half an hour. We had so many walk ins. Sooo we were put on hold so you can attend the walk ins first, when we had an appointment, I find this rude and unprofessional. They received no tip and I will never go back there. I know the owner made this decision, cause I had an encounter with her two years ago with my baby Foxy, whom has passed away last year. she had hip problems and favored her right leg, well I brought her home and noticed they cut one side of her head slanted. But when I put my baby on down her leg was up high a was walking like that for a week. I was so mad for them doin that to my baby. They were pulling on her leg,Foxy was a rescue dog. I was so sad for my baby I was not there to protect her. The owner would not talk to me, her husband called. Didn’t pay but never brought her back. The owner knows us cause she never looks at us when I brought my new baby in there. Three hours my baby had to wait and no water.

They are super nice. I had them cut my dogs toe nails because they were getting super long. They did a fantastic job. They treated him very nice. I always come here to get my dogs nails trimmed. They are very kind and nice. I highly suggest coming here.

We've been taking our fur babies to Lucky Paws for years. I believe our Princess Mimi was about 10 weeks the first time she went to Lucky Paws, she's almost 7 now!! Sadie's is hands down the most amazing, talented groomer. Our fur babies always look gorgeous and are super happy! Staff is wonderful! We wouldn't trust our littles with anyone else. ❤

BTW, I drive all the way from Port Townsend to have her groomed at Lucky Paws!

I wasn't sure at first how my loved one would react to the amount of dogs roaming freely in the business. Everyone got along great and my dog got a complete grooming and she and I were very happy with the end result. She looked amazing. We will definitely be a return customer. ❤️

I could write a novel on the way this place did me right. Came to Them last minute after another groomer turned me away after waiting weeks for an appt. My poor dog was very uncomfortable. They heard the desperation in my voice and got him in at 11 on a Saturday had him done by 3 and he’s looking and feeling so much better. Not to mention my stress about him chewing at himself and scratching being so uncomfortable is finally gone. I tried at home her just won’t let me do it.I just want to Thank the staff here again. Took my stubborn fluffy husky for a first grooming back in May and it went amazing. I couldn't stop sniffing her, she looked so clean. Price was very reasonable for amount of time our groomer spent on my dog- 70$ plus tip. This place is always booked up 2-3 weeks ahead. Only had a positive experience with them and would recommend to everyone.

I've been bringing my husky to them for years for deshedding treatments and they are the best! I have seen Rachel mostly but everyone there has provided great work and my dog always leaves happy! The pricing is also very fair and the service is always friendly.

This place is the best! Our dog is typically very frightened by the grooming process but our stylist, Sadie, has been extremely understanding and consistently delivers outstanding results with our puppy. She has tremendous patience and gauges our dog's limits to make sure she's not overwhelmed. We have been here twice so far and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with a pet they want looking their best!

We absolutely LOVE coming to Lucky Paws! Our 7 year old boxer Roxy has been getting groomed here for 3 years now. She struggles with being social but when she walks through the doors she feels right at home with the other dogs. You guys do such an amazing job, she always looks and smells great!

Payed about $96 including tip and deshedding for my Husky who's pretty large going through her a new coat who's very anxious and a hyper pup. They did an amazing job with handling her emotional outbursts and childish screams. Will definitely go again

We have moved recently to Federal Way and did not a groomer for our little dog. Yesterday we asked for an appointment date and they said they could trim him same which I was very impressed by. Service was fairly fast and he came out smelling great and looking nice. Will def go back highly recommend.

I googled 'dog groomer near me' and Lucky Paws was the closest. Being new to the area I'm happy that such a thoughtful groomer is so close to home. Our 14 year old pom doesn't like being groomed. Sadie was very patient and did such a great job that we already scheduled the next appointment. Great job!

Since my vet's office hasn't been offering grooming svc due to Covid, I came here as my 16 year old westie needed nail trimming badly. I'm only writing this review to give them a constructive feedback. Place was cute and open. Easy to get in and the staff seemed very friendly. The young lady who ended up trimming my dog seemed very sweet. Price is standard. So far all good. I think this place would be just fine if you have younger or dogs who don't mind being groomed. My dog hates being groomed the older he's gotten and has become more stubborn (like some people LOL). It started off fine but my dog becomes very stubborn the minute he feels any discomfort or pain. So he started to get very scared and fighting her. I understand she was focused only on his feet trying to grind the nails. As I was standing by the desk I can see overall what was happening but she wasn't paying attention to it. I felt very uncomfortable and scared (as my dog was too lol) as she was pulling his legs out very far in various angles. I even warned her he had a recent injury on one leg so needed to be very careful. Also the more he started to freak out, the more aggressive she had to become (which I understand) however she wasn't paying attention to what was happening to him at times because she's focused on his feet. Few times his face and eyes were jammed up against the medal pole. I was worried he would scratch his eyes or injure his mouth. Few times he actually started to bite on the medal part of his neck leash hard. I tried to tell her all this but she couldn't seem to hear me. I wanted to offer to help hold him so that these things couldn't be happening to him. He has loose teeth and I can't afford for him to have cracked tooth or any injuries that would require anesthesia. He's too old and would be too risky. I was scared the whole time and felt a second person was necessary to hold him better. There were two other ladies not having any clients so they were free and I was so surprised she didn't ask one of them to help until the very end. Although the young lady seemed very nice I wondered how much experience she's had especially with older dogs. The nails themselves came out great. My vet's office has two people, one holding him as the second person cilips his nails. They are done quickly without these issues I saw at this place. I'd recommend having two people with a dog like mine. Based on what I saw, I will not be going back here. Too stressful for me and my dog not to mention dangerous for him. I may sound like an overprotective doggie mom but I have to be as my dog has no voice. I've raised two of my westies (one passed at 17 yrs old) and now this one at 16-1/2 both super healthy and happy their whole lives. I intend to keep him that way until his final days. I just ordered a dog nail grinder on Amazon and will do it myself with my husband LOL. Not worth the risk at his age.

I have a dog that hates groomers and one that loves everyone - both my dogs are happy here and well cared for.They take such great care of them, they listen to my concerns and they do a great job. They truly care which makes a huge difference. They also give discounts when you book for your next grooming so you stay organized and save money. LOVE THEM!!

They are so nice to my chihuahuas and always do a great job of grooming them. Plus, I like that they let the dogs lay on beds in the grooming area instead of putting them in kennels. They will put my tiny dogs in kennels though to keep them safe if there are rowdy big dogs there.

Took my two beagles in for baths and nail clipping. One dogs nails were fine the other dogs nails looked like they barely trimmed them. Dogs were nice and clean. All was good till it was time to pay. They totaled up my tab ( 133.00 ) then I had to pay on their i- pad , so they spin the I- pad around and force you to pay a minimum 15% tip. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT !! if I want to tip I know how to do it on my own, I don't need you to force me to tip on your I-pad ! Won't be going back.

My Gandalf has been going here since I got him as a puppy in 2016, they are amazing with him and love him so much. He is always so cute and smelling great when I pick him up, they gave him a Mohawk a few times now lol. We will be sticking with the wonderful Ladies at Lucky Paws Salon even though we are moving an hour away. If I have any concerns about his hair they truly listen and they work with what I want also.
