Honestly this is one of the hardest reviews to write since I loved working with Kelsey and my dogs have been going to muddy paws for a long time. It truly took awhile for me to find a good groomer .A few weeks ago I took my two dogs to muddy paws and dropped them off around 1:30 normally it takes a few hours. It was around 4:15 and I never received a call. I got worried so I called , no answer . Then I drove up there to pick them up. Call again no answer. Upon arriving I wasn’t told anything had happened, I just had a normal conversation with Kelsey and mid conversation she said we had an accident. I thought well sometimes things happen and they’ve come home with little scratches but nothing big. She said one of my dogs got a scratch. I told her no problem. It was an accident. Per bringing the dogs out I was looking at him and couldn’t see anything until I spotted a huge gash in arm and I could see his tendon, I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say, prior to this telling me it was a scratch and offering to pay a vet bill if needed I thought how bad could it be. At no point did I get a call saying he needed to be taken to the emergency vet , how long did my dog sit in agonizing pain. his whole leg was cut up with skin hanging it was so bad he needed 3 stitches and sedation . I spent the whole night at emergency. Kelsey told me earlier to send her the bill and she never paid me for it . Never called to check on him, told me it was his fault because he’s disabled he moved. This whole thing was so traumatizing . It was handled so poorly . If I would’ve got a call or some communication I would’ve appreciated that . But I got nothing. Very disappointed I always tipped well and loved going to muddy paw but won’t return because of this incident. The vet said any closer he would’ve bled to death .

This was the best experience with a groomer . My puppy doesn't like to be groom. Sydney was patient with my nervous dog and the haircut...my puppy nevere ever looked so good. If you need a real pet groomer ask for Sidney. She is amazing

My pitbull blaze doesn’t like his nails being cut and my daughter and my cousin took him here without a problem. He actually enjoyed it I feel bad I could’ve been there and do it with him too. Because he’s not a very friendly dog, and he doesn’t like certain people, but he sure like all of them, which is totally Awesome I will never go anywhere else. He demands Muddy Paws 🐾 only I highly recommend them

Muddy Paws Grooming is absolutely fantastic! The staff here is not only incredibly friendly but also genuinely caring towards our pets. We have a special fur baby who is both blind and deaf, and I can't express how grateful we are for the extra attention and care they provide for her. She even gives them kisses when they pick her up, which speaks volumes about their wonderful treatment. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Muddy Paws Grooming to anyone seeking top-notch pet grooming services.

UPDATE: We have been coming to Muddy Paws for 2 years now and they are even more fabulous than our first groom experience with them which was pretty amazing! The first groomer that groomed Oakley moved and so for over a year Kelsey has been grooming Oakley now. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE KELSEY. Every time our dog looks beautiful, he’s been taken care of and she puts us at ease. Even if we want to tweak a little something at pick up, she is so accommodating and always has a wonderful attitude despite it being the end of the day. We truly can not think of anyone better to take care of our dog (now 4yrs old). Highly highly recommend Kelsey, she is superbly skilled and is absolutely the best groomer we have ever come across. 10/10 ❤️2 years ago after our first groom experience: I want to HIGHLY recommend Muddy Paws in Everett, WA. Our full size golden doodle just got the best haircut he has ever gotten (it was his first time there after trying others we were not happy with - Petco & Snohomish Dog Spaw - bad!!). Oakley was treated like a king! We picked him up and he was so beautiful, happy and relaxed we were shocked. Past groomers have cut him with scissors on his lip, not finished his haircut, not even bothered to trim his ears or tail and charged us SO much money for an ultimately terrible experience. Jessica was our groomer at Muddy Paws. Love the open concept relaxed environment and we and our doodle could not be happier (including with the price!). 150% recommend!!! We will not be taking our dog anywhere else and finally feel like we found a groomer that treats our dog with just as much love as we do 👍🏼 Thank you Jessica you are fabulous!

Such a Wonderful experience for our long hair dachshund! He went in feeling down because his red locks were a little mashed up & matted. He came out a Shiny WONDERFUL Weiner that was Raring to Show his Wonderful New Shiny Coat off to Everyone that would (would Not) pay attention!Thank You for Theo's amazing care & handsome groom today! Highly recommendWe took Luna in for a nail trim and they were great! We even had to cancel same day and they were able to move us and didn’t put up too much huff. I think it costs $25 and they even used the dremel tool to round off the nail trim.Also here’s a picture of Looney

Kesha, Gus’s groomer, is ABSOLUTELY Wonderful. Gus is a Welsh Terrier and from drop off to pick up 2hours later he comes out looking like a Top Dog! It is so nice to leave him all day at a groomer! 🐾🐾

They are so amazing! (Especially Phoenix!) I took my puppy to PetSmart and they refused because he was too “squirmy”. I took him to to muddy paws and he was in such great hands! He came out looking great, and they said he did a great job. He was so calm in the crate when I picked him up too! Highly recommend. (I have a 5 month old 65lb German Shepard who is full of energy. So it is not a small feat)

I was able to get an appointment for my dog quickly and efficiently, which was impressive considering how far booked out most locations are post-lockdown. I was actually at my wit’s end because I couldn’t find a decent groomer for my shih tzu/bichon frise mixed pup after his previous groomer retired. Muddy Paws came as a recommendation and I’m glad I followed up on it. I have come to keep an open mind after years of owning high maintenance coated dogs; sometimes they just need shaved. However, my expectations were far exceeded. My dog came back clean, mat-free, happy, and still looked very cute. A true teddy bear cut, even when his fur was in bad shape. Service was quick as well.Will be back!

After getting ripped off at the Everett PetSmart for a few visits (the first groomer was nice, but the by the third visit, I had paid over $105 for the groomer to butcher my Sheltie’s fur), we found Muddy Paws. Thank goodness. And just when I think they couldn’t top themselves, Yoshi comes home today with a Christmas ornament. These ladies are truly the best!!

I had a bit of trouble getting ahold of someone to schedule an appointment at first but I was persistent and kept trying, and it was so worth it! My 12yo Aussie has never been groomed, and I’m very protective of him, so I was incredibly nervous to have him groomed and leave him with strangers. I was put at ease the minute I walked in the door. The woman who greeted me was so kind and clearly knowledgeable about my dog’s breed and a skin condition he has. Akira(sp) was going to be Edison’s groomer and she was so thoughtful about assuring me that Edison would get breaks since he has trouble standing for long periods of time. They both genuinely listened as I yammered about his tendencies, as us dog moms do. When I arrived to pick him up, I could hear Akira talking so sweetly to him. And of course, he looks awesome and so handsome! Out with the old coat and in with the new! The prices were very reasonable in my opinion for Edison’s size and length of time dedicated to him. We will most definitely be back and recommend widely! Thank you Muddy Paws!

I’m really happy with Muddy Paws! They are understand and accommodating with my rescue dog. reasonably priced. All the employees have cut my dogs nails and do a great job comforting her. I go back with them because my dog is skittish and scared. I appreciate them working with us and making it a welcoming environment! They are not open Mondays.

This is the only place I will take my Lil Wolf. they understand my dog and his needs, they treat him like he was their own, and they know just how to groom him to maximize how fluffy and cute he is. There are no weird hot boxes to dry the dogs in. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They keep my baby looking perfect!!!

Our dog has completely imprinted on my wife but even my wife can't trim her nails. We've tried other groomers before but found this place a year and some ago. It's great to see the same faces, prices are fantastic even with recent raises and our dog despite hating her nails being trimmed, allows the staff here to do their job.

Our first visit for nail trimming was 👍 one of my dogs is a huge drama queen when getting nails done. She screams and Howells the whole time! It didn't phase the groomer in the least! Considering our Penelope has been refused in a few other places because of her antics...these folks are amazing ❤

I started taking my dog to MPDG about two years ago and love them. The prices are reasonable and the groomers are fantastic. However, their communications with customers has fallen off the cliff. When we showed up for our booked appointment on the 20th of December, the doors were locked and lights were off. No sign was posted as to why, nor did I recv any notice that would have saved me about an hour in travel time. Now I can't get through to them to reschedule my appointment. Calls go to Voice Mail, but the mailbox is "full" and has been that way for over a week. I am starting to wonder if they are still in business?UPDATE: 5-6 more attempts to contact them with no results. Around the 3rd of January I finally got a phone call asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment for my pup. No apology for them missing my previous appointment and n I explanation as to why it took them 2 weeks to respond to my phone message. On the bright side, this exercise forced me to locate another grooming service that is closer to my house.

WOW, what great service! 🤩 I had an apt for my lab today and was under the impression it was a cut & wash. Come to find out it was just a wash. I’m going out of town and wanted my baby looking fabulous.After a few conversations between the employees, I was told that they would fit me in. Both ladies were very friendly and they finished in 2 hours! Highly recommend. Thank you!!!

I've been taking my dog Scout in here for awhile now and they've always been great with him. He's an anxious guy and doesn't like his feet touched but they somehow always manage to clip his nails. We recently had a family dog come live with us. Due to family medical reasons this sweet old guy hasn't been groomed in quite some time. Poor guy was a mess! I just happened have an appointment for Scout the day after we got Wylie and they let me trade appointments with no problem. Honestly I was embarrassed bringing him in but they were so incredibly nice and sweet about everything. Wylie came out looking fresh and handsome. They are truly amazing, patient and understanding here. Thank you Muddy Paws, I really appreciate you!
