Hewitt reptile is amazing! I came in over a month before getting our dragon; to get all set up! They had everything I needed and more! The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. Answered all my questions plus some!We got our sweet Jups in May 2023; at age 3-4 months! He has since Day one been the chillest; water loving snuggliest dragon!Our vet said he was one of the best looking dragons he had seen! That just shows me that Hewitt takes care to the next leave and makes sure that they get their animals from great people! We now just get our bugs from here; and they have always been amazing quality!We have also boarded Jups here a few times while traveling; and he is always well taken care of!We have always had great intentions with the staff! Obviously have our favorites but every single one we have had the pleasure of meeting have been great and very knowledgeable!Also Toothless is freaking amazing! Always say hi to him!Attached are photos from when we got our Jupiter and to now!

I absolutely loved the staff, they are polite, knowledgeable, and helpful! I am 100% new to owning reptiles and they answered every question i had and provided me with the needed items for my brand new leopard gecko. I absolutely 100% recommend coming here for your reptiles needs, as-well as coming to purchase a healthy and well taken care of reptile5 months later from my first review, (with photo update) I have an absolutely adorable, and personality filled gecko and a very dependable store to be able to rely on. I sm thankful to have found this store and am now a forever-client. I am DEFINITELY going to purchase my next reptile family member from this store

I would definitely recommend Hewitt Reptile Emporium to anyone that needs assistance with their beloved pet! I have had a bearded dragon for 3 years and they have always been SO helpful. Food, pet sitting, hotel care, and they have so much love for my bearded dragon Empanadita. She wanted to stay there it was so nice! Service was amazing when she got sick, they advised me to go to the right veterinarian and helped me with antibiotic injections. My beardie just loves everyone there, and I would highly recommend to anyone to go here!

These guys are fantastic. We went in today and spoke with the lady who was working. She was beyond amazing. She answered all our questions and spent time educating us and taught us so much. There was no pressure placed on us to buy a pet immediately. We decided to wait a bit before we got our son a Bearded Dragon. We will be back!

Kayla and Danielle were very friendly! I work in property management and we had someone leave their bearded dragon behind. Kayla was more than happy to take it and eventually put it up for adoption. Not only do they short you heavily on the higher count worms, they sell dead words then make it inconvenient on your end for them to make it right. To top it off, the owner has some of the worst customer service skills I’ve ever encountered. She’s unhappy to help and makes it clear in her tone and shortness in answers. I can see why now it’s someone different alongside her each time I’ve been in. Finally learned my lesson today not to return to this place.

My experience at the store was: I was being helped by a younger gentleman and got interrupted by an older dark haired employee who was very pushy! The older dark haired man was so pushy and didn't know his stuff made me feel uncomfortable. When I tried to go back too the younger gentlemen for his help the older man kept interrupting. Thank you too the younger man who was patient.

Great place. Great selection. Very nice and informative workers. When we bought our leopard gecko they even asked us questions about our setup prior to selling her to us which I actually really liked. It showed that they care about the animals, and don't just look at them as profit. I would highly recommend.

Always an awesome time coming here the staff is super personable and amazing and it feels like you get the directors cut version of the reptile section of all the zoo’s. Definitely come here if you love looking/talking about and holding reptiles and amphibians this is the place to come to.

Love this shop! The staff are very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. I've been coming here for about 3 years and have adopted 4 of my snakes from them. The employees are all very kind. I came to look at corn snakes since I plan to get one in about a half a year. I asked a few questions like how large do cornsnakes get as adults and one of the employees took the time to open the cage and show me a snake for reference. His name was Beetlejuice and he was very cute :) I also got to pet toothless. They were willing to answer any questions. Very helpful, when I do get a cornsnake I plan on getting them from here.

Animals kept in too small of enclosures, poor husbandry advice from owner and neglect (the reptiles were visibly starving). I would honestly rather shop at Petco, atleast they know better than using calcium sand.

Our family loves this place, best food for our bearded dragon. The worms and bugs are very fresh and nothing like you get from the chain pet stores. Hewitt reptiles also does pet sitting service and have use this service 3 times. Feel very comfortable leaving Elvis to their care.. it is very reasonable priced and takes the hassle out of setting up and training someone to take care of your family pet while your on vacation. BTW the staff is great and very knowledgeable on the needs of your reptile needs

Great store! We go here to get our turtle food and the staff is always extremely kind and friendly! There's always Amazing reptiles to check out inside! The store is nicely kept. And the staff is very knowledgeable! We've asked many questions and they always have the best answers! Definitely recommend for all your reptile needs! Prices are decent as well!
