Has a unique variety of games/toys and accessories. The layout is good and very impressed with all they have inside. Although I feel some stuff is a little expensive here, I also have found some things I liked at a reasonable price. The customer service is good depending on who is there at times I can feel like they do not want to talk to me as a customer. The owner is very nice and I enjoyed speaking with them. I Enjoy having a new cool toy place in town as a local and definitely do recommend checking this place out! Looking forward to see them add more to the store and will continue to visit every so often!

Looked like you had some great stuff, not sure about prices, but I wasn’t able to actually see everything. Why?To the dark-haired young (?) man behind the desk - Had you looked up from your desk and greeted my family when we walked in the door perhaps this review would’ve been different. You may have learned we’d been traveling days and hours on end, cooped up in our car and were excited to explore your shop.Had you looked up from your desk and seen our son stimming because he’s high-functioning, maybe this review would have been different. The one item that easily feel over when bumped wasn’t damaged and was put back by him because he knows that’s the polite thing to do.Had you looked up from your desk and seen that he wasn’t standing on the shelf before accusing him of standing on it maybe this review would’ve been different. He accidentally knocked an empty peg off the wall full of empty pegs because he was curious what they were and was leaning over trying his best to put it back. Instead of seeing this, you assumed and were rude to him.This store is not all-kid friendly. The one employee that was there didn’t bother trying to make any small talk, it was if we were an inconvenience to be there.—-Response to the response:I know what happened, I was there, and unless your employee was extremely soft-spoken, they didn’t greet us. The only time they spoke to us was when my husband engaged them about items right before the “incident” and my son was NOT standing on the shelf, anyone with eyes could see he was leaning over it and his hands on the back wall of it to fix the peg. The employee was unkind and could have been more polite and understanding of the situation. Had they bothered talking to us at all, we could have handled things differently. Instead, we’ll stick the retro stores on the other side of the mountain with better staff that care about customers and their kids, not just the money.

I went in here thinking it was a kids toy store but it’s more like a vintage/retro toy store with some kid toys. It also has an interesting smell in there but maybe because some of the stuff is old. That being said, my younger kids didn’t find anything but my older Star Wars loving son found some action figures he loves. I think if it had half the store as retro and the other half with newer kid toys this place would be awesome.

Wow this is an amazing store in Ellensburg. We went to Junk-tiquen in the Burg, lunch at The Pearl, and the explored the area around there. This store has an extension entire of collectible cards, games, and toys. Check it out if you get the chance.

Overall a good (albeit overpriced) selection- though I was a bit irritated at myself for not checking a figure marked at MSRP for damage and whether or not it's open. This Loki I paid retail for, which is 19.99 from Hasbro official- just cost me 22.99 with a ripped (for a collector) box that has very obviously been opened multiple times.Kicking myself for being overwhelmed by the selection and not noticing some real nonsense. But, the employees were nice enough, and didn't mind my wandering the store and taking photos to share with friends who may need things for their collections, so that's nice.

I really did enjoy this store, so I hate that I have to rate it 3 stars. They had a great selection of vintage toys, modern toys, video games, Funko Pops and more. I completely understand needing to make a profit, so in-store sales can be hard to match to online...but I also understand they have Amazon, Ebay and a Webstore, so they should be aware of the going rate for most of their inventory. That being said, prices were just too high on most of what I wanted. A quick Ebay search showed me that some items were reasonably priced in-store and worth buying. However, other products were extremely overpriced, some to the tune of $100+ over what is available online. I primarily bought Funko Pops, some of which were a couple dollars over or a couple dollars under-priced. I was willing to pay a little more just for the "Get It Right Now" factor and not having to wait for shipping/risk damage in transit. Unfortunately, most of what I found for my vintage toy collections just had too big of a price gap with what is available online, even with shipping costs included. Staff was decently friendly, seemed busy at the computer but that's totally reasonable considering their online sales. The store was clean, well organized and really has an amazing selection of new and vintage toys. I do not agree with the negative reviews that they are "scalpers" considering they use wholesalers that I've worked with in my own resale business. I was happy with what I got for the money I spent, I enjoyed my time in the store and I will absolutely return. My only gripe is the unreasonable pricing on most things. It can definitely feel like a hunt to find the items that are well priced, but personally I think it is worth it. Im not saying they need to beat every price online either. Having a storefront is costly and inventory isn't cheap. I just feel they could close that price gap a bit more and make a profit while still being fair to the customer. My advice is to just be sure to check online (I use an Ebay Barcode Scanning App) before committing to any item you are considering spending more that $15.00 - $20.00 on. I really hope the next time I go back in a year, they will have adjusted prices and taken their reviews seriously. I WANT to support this business and hopefully I can update this to a 5 star review after my next visit!

More like Scalper Stable. It’s really frustrating to to be a toy hunter when you have to compete with a business that has the practice of scalping.Last January I was in the store when I noticed that the store owner had associates (maybe friends or family) coming in holding tons of Target and Walmart shopping bags. Apparently if you live in the area and you’re looking for one of the popular toy lines and collectibles, don’t bother going to the retail chains that carry these lines, this store sends people out to buy everything up in the area so that they can mark up the price and gouge you for their profit. Target Exclusives? More like Toy Stable exclusives. And I’m not talking about they picked up one or two, they apparently clear out the entire wave.It’s bad enough when other collectors scalp, it’s 10x harder when you’re competing with a store with resources like multiple buyer’s to clean out shelves.It’s really a shady business practice.

Good store, I’ll never knock a store for having a good amount of cool retro stuff.I really enjoyed it, I bought some cool Joe stuff. Prices were a bit high but overall store is great.

We were sold a console that we were told was tested and worked, but when we got it home the chords did not work. Come to find out they don’t accept any returns or refunds which is only stated at the very bottom of the receipt AFTER your purchase is finalized.

Awesome selection, everything from classic spawn to star wars. Sections are well organized. Prices are competitive. Would like to see more scale models. Toy stable also has an eBay store. Would recommend visiting to get the nostalgic experience.

Great Toy store with tons of Nostalgia throughout. Lots of stuff here with a friendly staff. Got our first discount and was shocked to learn card used for payment is locked into program. Fun visit today! Can't wait to go back

It's a very nice store with a wide range of toys, accessories and parts. I haven't been back since they moved to the new location, but I've been to the old location a couple times and the staff was friendly, but I ended up finding the things I needed elsewhere. As a serious toy collector myself, I wanted to browse the items but didnt feel very comfortable. It's like unless you have a specific reason to be there, it's not a very warm environment for just checking the store for things you might like.

Would have gave this store 5 stars, however my experience today was not good.I intended to purchase a figure for the $80 sticker price, I asked of they would open the box and see if any piece were missing. The employee determined there were no pieces missing; I said I wanted to purchase it, left it on the counter and continued to look around. When it came time to check out I noticed the employee changed the sticker price to about $328. I ​requested to purchase it at the original price on the box and was told he would only go down to $300. The employee stated the first price wasn't the stores price even though the sticker was identical to the new price sticker.***WARNING*** PRICES MAY CHANGE AT CHECKOUT!

Went back recently, just to see if anything has changed for the better since my visit a year ago, and... NOPE, it's exactly the same. Too bad they are pretty much the only vintage toy shop in town. Prices are way too high. Definitely some shadey practices and price gouging going on here. Walked in and found 5+ each (almost cases) of Target exclusive NECA figures and Wal-Mart exclusive Black Series figures. Selling for 100%+ price mark up. They had some things I would have bought, but after seeing their hoarding so they can price gouge, I will not be going back. True collectors don't give money to those who make collecting harder and less fun.

When I walked in, the owners vision slid right past me like I wasn't there. No greeting, just up front chatting with someone. They continued to have a loud conversation about the homeless and troublemakers in the area (pretty unprofessional), real estate and other things for a while as I looked around. At this point the owner shouted across the store to let him know if I needed help.The owner was not wearing a mask the entire time! Bad form and against mandate sir!I didn't want to give him any of my money at that point but he had a couple of things I needed. Prices range from fair to high. Girl toy selection is so-so and poorly organized like it's an afterthought.Will definitely NOT be returning

My kids and I enjoyed the store. Lots of cool classic toys. The prices are a bit high but I am happy to pay a little more to support a local store. It is nice having an actual store like this to browse in locally versus only shopping online.

Been coming here for over a year, and I'll continue to come back. Prices are much, but it's the quality you pay for and third party add on's to improve the look of the toy. He doesn't have trashy looking toys. Definitely a must for a great flash back to memory lane.

I love this place, I can always find my GameCube stuff and when I ask them if they had a part for my wireless controller they didn't have it by came in about a month later seeing if they got one and sure enough they did at a reasonable price!!! If you have an old console you love I extremely recommend you come here to find what you need for it!!! Or if you want to buy one they have older consoles there as well.

Well what can I say about a toy stable besides that it is awesome! The owner( Chris) and the employee are amazing and friendly the prices can be little high(sometimes ) but good prices overall for the variety in the amount of stuff that you can get there it's worth it! Plus the owner's wife is hot !lolbut seriously if you want to find rare items and stuff from your childhood go check this place out it's amazing.

Great collectible toy store. Well ran, TONS OF SELECTION, SUPER CLEAN, and organized. Chris is very knowledgeable, fair, and a very friendly store owner. I recommend this as a MUST visit collectible toy store. I drove over 2 hours to visit it, and was not disappointed 💪😁

They have a surprisingly large amount of toys in what seems to be a small store. There are many small rooms filled with toys that are pretty well organized. Most toys are new in box and vintage. The owners seemed friendly and helpful.

I remember when I 1st walked inside, was like I Turned the Clock Back 35 Years... And I was at Toys 'R' Us or Something!!! Awesome Store, owner really cool, I know and have heard there a bit pricey, but if your not too picky on condition, he'll sell stuff not worthy of going on his shelves way cheaper!!!
