Staff are fantastic. No issues whatsoever with anyone who works at this location. Unfortunately, as soon as Vyvanse became generic, Safeway’s reliability with that medication evaporated. To give credit when it’s due, I did get my first prescription from them after the expiration of the patent. After running out of that, I went to fill the next one and they told me that they were out and would text me when it’s in stock. That happens from time to time so no immediate red flags. Waited over a week. Still not ready. THAT is not normal or frankly acceptable. I need this medication to be able to operate in society. Finally got fed up and had my provider cancel and re-issue my prescriptions to the Rite Aid in town. It was filled within 24 hours of me opening an account with them. I was so impressed that I reached out to multiple other pharmacies to learn that there is indeed no shortage of Vyvanse at the moment. My brother was having the same problem with the same medication at a different Safeway. He pressed them with more questions about when Vyvanse will be available again and they straight up changed the subject. What is going on with you guys? I would advise going elsewhere, ESPECIALLY if you need Vyvanse/lisdexamphetamine

The most helpful, professional, accommodating, kind staff I have ever had at any pharmacy in my entire life. Going to the pharmacy can be stressful for many reasons but this staff makes it so easy and stress free and are the BEST!

I called to ask if they had a specific medication in stock and I gave the exact name and dosage....however the only woman that answered the phone needed to know the color of the box.....that's a little disturbing in my opinion. Won't be transferring anything here unfortunately 😕

10/10, staff is SUPER friendly and easy to talk to when you have concerns. AND prescriptions are always ready within a day or two. So happy I switched!!

Sam was very helpful! I recently started a new job which means a new insurance policy. I had not yet received my insurance card when it was time to pick up a monthly prescription. Sam took the time to make sure my new insurance policy covered my prescription so I didn't have to pay out of pocket.

Kailey is now one of my most favorite pharmacists in a Ellensburg! I feel like I am her full-time job at times! 😂 She has went way out of her way for me. Spent time correcting mistakes of meds that were not hers. Calling the clinic. Communicating with my nurses. FIXING others mistakes. She has helped me when I was out of State when I was absolutely at my wits end & again... Corrected mistakes. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. Plus she’s extremely knowledgeable & always reminds me that if I have questions, call her. She’s 100% one of the best. I am the first one to admit that I was devastated when Downtown Pharmacy closed down. But I don’t know what I would do without Kailey around. She takes her job seriously & professionally. And she has a sense of humor & doesn't get agitated. She does her job above & beyond & goes with the flow.!
