Called around looking for a pie for our day early Thanksgiving dinner. I found this gem of a place! I picked up a FRESH apple pie, ready to be baked, in the oven. I baked & it was PERFECT! ABSOLUTELY delicious!! When I was there I also grabbed a cold brew & looked around. It's a cute coffee shop with an upstairs to sit, enjoy your coffee, with a yummy pastry. The customer service was AWESOME too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Will 💯 be back!

Hayday Bake and Brew is an absolute gem in Ellensburg, WA! Their menu is a delightful treasure trove of flavors. They also carry canned alcoholic beverages, including local cider from Wheel Line.

First time here, on a recommendation from our son in law. The food is very good, and looks delicious even just sitting in the case. We didn't try the cider (driving over the pass in a blizzard), but we're intrigued enough to go back and check it out.The interior is inviting and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and overall we enjoyed our visit very much.You should give this great little place a try, it's definitely worth it.

I have visited Hayday Bake and Brew about once a week to get a sweet treat for my daughter. They have always been delicious and super friendly. Today I went in for lunch and the waitress recommended the Caprese Panini. So delicious. Perfectly crisp bread and warm melty cheese. It was delicious. I ate it out in the sunshine on their front patio. Highly recommend you come visit this place. (Here is a photo of the Pumpkin cookie I got the sandwich was too good and I forgot to get a picture)

I was very displeased with what I received. First I was told a price over the phone but charged a completely different price, then after receiving the cake I ended up throwing the whole thing away. The cake tasted days old, it was extremely dry and overcooked as well as the buttercream icing I asked for was rock hard as if it were that gross molding icing. I will never waste my money here again. I heard such good things about this place, but what I received was NOT a 50 dollar cake, you can also see where they messed up on the writing, some of it even being removed and a dark stain line left in place. The cake its self was beautiful, don't get me wrong. But the taste and quality was absolutely awful. What was supposed to be a very sentimental birthday for someone who moved literally across the u.s to be here for me and my child turned into a show of me tossing a 50$ cake into the garbage because it was inedible.

The staff is friendly and the baked goods look and taste great! The interior is really inviting and they have biscuits for your pup. I can’t wait to come back with my boyfriend for a small date!

Went in for a coffee date. Not busy, only one other guest already sat with their order. No greeting from the batista who saw us walk in, had to get her attention because her back was facing us.We got a croissant, dirty Chai, and vanilla latte. I cringed when I heard the microwave door close and turn on with our no longer crispy croissant being warmed.A few minutes later or drinks were ready and sat down. We both notice some very loud Imagine Dragons-type music playing. I have no problem with that band but the volume and setting are not right for it.Then we took a bite from the croissant... it would have been REALLY good if it was still crispy, I don't know why it wasn't reheated toaster oven instead. I don't mind waiting a few minutes, especially since we're eating here.Then we taste our drinks... I have no clue as to how they got so watery. My latte was very thin and the dirty Chai was more like a tea than coffee. Very strange because I thought I saw the barista use whole milk. Very weird, didn't finish either drink.Bringing our plates and cups toward the counter, the barista says, 'the bus tubs are there' literally the only thing said to us besides the price of the order.The only reason I didn't go 1 star is because I've had a decent experience in the past and they have a great back patio. But there are some very basic things going wrong here, like simply greeting guests.

Be warned the owner does not allow outside drinks.. even if you buy something there. I accidentally brought my protein shake inside and the owner flipped out. He pointed to my shake after I sat down with the food I purchased and said "you can't have that in here." He then told me, "If you want to bring your own drink go to Starbucks." Up to this point I was a regular customer. The way the owner chose to inform me of his policy was exceedingly disrespectful.I started going to Hayday 2 years ago so I could support small business. I guess I am going back to Starbucks.

The peach pie was fantastic! Coffee was delicious! Service was good. We came at the end of the day so people were tired. The brownie was very dry but good if you like a cake brownie. I prefer a gooey, super moist nutty brownie. The cherry pie was very good. The cherry hand pie was dry and not very flavorful. The atmosphere is wonderful and music great! Lovely backyard deck for outdoor seating. The thumbprint cookies were very good nice butter flavor. The Russian tea cookies were full of nuts, little dry but quite flavorful. We'll be back!

This bakery is such a delight every time I visit. I haven't had anything I haven't liked, and the space is beautiful inside and out. If I had to choose, I'd go with the hand pies and the quiche, but even saying that makes me think I should add the carrot cake cupcake to the list. Great coffee, nice beverage options including a variety of seltzers, homemade lemonades and beer.

Very nice offerings for individual and family treats. I asked for a larger order of multiple pies and cakes for a community organization that they got wrong, but the woman running the desk made things right and we got it worked out.

This place is amazing! I’ve been afew times and it’s been great everytime. They have delicious vegan options. The vegan calzone, vegan pot pie, vegan broccoli cheddar soup vegan cupcakes, and apple pie are all amazing. The owner is also super nice.

Long wait times with no acknowledgement we were there. Had the maple bar, a cinnamon biscuit, and lemonade. Lemonade was very seedy, but okay. Maple bar tasted like it was refrigerated from the day before. Cinnamon biscuit was dry. Low quality milk in macchiato - suggest upgrading to a milk carton rather than a plastic milk bottle.Atmosphere good. Bathroom clean. Tables clean, parking excellent.

What a gem! I was so impressed by this bakery. Amazing short crust pastry and full puff pastry. Cookies, pies, and savory chicken pot pies with everything in between. The ambiance is modern yet comfortable, unstated, and welcoming. Lots of cozy places to sit and enjoy you food.

Great biscuits and gravy on Sundays. Bakery items have been excellent too. Slower service though bc only one person at the counter.8.23.20Great atmosphere. They had bread pudding with apricots today. Wow! Amazing! And the biscuits and gravy are still incredible. My wife and I came in earlier in the week for a special celebration and the owner was awesome. He added to our day. Great place. This is a business that deserves support, and you won't be sorry because the pastries are unbelievable!

Awesome bakery. A friends son is at CWU, we called and spoke with the owner about a special New Years cake. The family celebrates new year on the first day of spring and they were heading over. After a long drive we were hoping to surprise them with something special. The owner listen to our request. She was enthusiastic and open to try a new recipe that would require some special items. The cake was incredible, my friend reported it was like what his mom used to make (his highest praise for cooking). Her culinary skills are tremendous paired with her kindness creates an special bakery. Thank you for the extraordinary work.

The variety of baked goods here is impressive. Lots of savory (calzone, quiche, etc) with several sweet (pies, cookies, etc.). I had the most interesting maple bar where the base was firm and dense vanilla cake with a very tasty and sweet maple icing. Really yummy. They do have a full espresso latte americano if you need that too!
