My wife and I take our dog Waffle a 6 year old Shih Tzu mix to blue collar. He gets an amazing haircut every time! The groomer really listens to what we want and makes it a reality.Blue collar is a clean well kept facility. They treat the dogs with the utmost care. I highly recommend for everyone to take their dog to blue collar for grooming, day care, and boarding.

Lisa does an amazing job with our mini poodles! She is gentle and they love her. Highly recommend her and Blue Collar. Shout out to Mike who does our scheduling and Emerald and Katie who groom our big dogs!

When I rescued my first pup, Wall E, I had to find a place where he could learn to be a dog. I found Blue Collar Doghouse and it’s the best decision I could have made. The staff are just exceptional people. They treat your precious pup like family. He is now 3 years old and is so well socialized. I couldn’t have done it without them. Once I rescued my second pup, Zena, she was definitely going there as well. She has anxiety but they are so patient with her and make sure she is comfortable. I really enjoy when they send daycare report cards letting you know how they are doing. I cannot express how grateful I am that I found them. I highly recommend them.

Lisa has groomed my 2 cairn terriers, Poppy and Rosie, for over 3 years. Lisa is an expert on hand stripping and how different breeds of terriers should be groomed. She also has deep knowledge of animal behavior which helps the dogs have a kindler, gentler experience while being groomed. She is amazing at what she does and Blue Collar Doghouse is so lucky to have her. If you have a dog that needs hand stripping, I highly recommend Lisa!

LOVE Blue Collar!!! Jessica (the owner) and everyone I’ve met who works there is simply the best. I’ve been taking my puppy, Bentley Bob, ever since he was just a few months old and not only did it quickly become one of his favorite places, but Jessica and everyone who works there has taken time to work with him and took time to build his confidence so he’d be able to join! He’s on the smaller side and timid so I love knowing he’s in the safest hands, who also love to shower him with playtime and cuddles and love. Everyone who works there is friendly and respectful and always takes time to answer any questions I have :) both BB and I are always welcomed warmly and with a smile and it truly makes such a difference to the day. I’m very thankful to have such an amazing place filled with knowledgable, kind and genuine people, to take my pup where he can thrive and grow but also have fun, all while knowing he’s safe and looked after with care!

They have always been supper sweet! My dog has anxiety and they always make her feel safe and she always does good when I take her. My dog Bambi gets her nails clipped and I have taken her to several different places; here is the best she has done. I always suggest this place to people!

Lisa is the BEST -- we call her "the dog whisperer." Two years ago, we moved from Seattle and retired in Sequim. We STILL make the trek back to Edmonds every 6-8 weeks to get our poodles groomed by her. (yes, she's that good). Lisa is calm with so much patience and love for our dogs. (And we should know! Our miniature poodle is a "drama queen" extraordinaire. Lisa is the only person who can groom him .... and she does it with compassion and a smile for his quirks.) Lisa treats our dogs as the unique individuals they are -- always giving them what THEY need. We are so grateful. Thanks Lisa for the amazing work you do!!!

Lisa did an incredible job with our pup’s first ever full groom. We came in with pretty high expectations and she exceeded them. I swear our lil dude’s haircut looks even better than the inspo pic we showed her! On top of that, she was super kind and considerate. She surprised me with a pic and update partway through the groom, which was so cute and so appreciated! Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so so much, Lisa!! We have been bringing our black lab, Kora, to Blue Collar for over 10 years. Kora absolutely loves daycare! She gets so excited when we pull up into the parking lot and it takes everything I have to keep her from bolting through the front desk to get back to the play yard. I just love knowing that she's in a place that she loves and where she is loved in exchange. The staff at Blue Collar are exceptional. In the over 10 years that we have been coming here we have received top notch care and concern. Our whole family loves Blue Collar Doghouse!

They do an amazing and fast job here! Our cockapoo does so much better with the scheduled appointment format. At our last groomer she would sometimes have to be there for 6 hours or more. Not at blue collar doghouse, she is in and out in less than 2 hours

Carlos did such an amazing job on our terrier! The grooming was so fast too! My dog went right with him back to his grooming and seemed very happy when I picked him up. He is a nervous pup and I was worried about how he would do but Carlos did an amazing job with him. Super excited to return and have found a permanent groomer.

My Buddy has been going here for years. Staff is always caring and professional. At times I get a little jealous because Buddy goes absolutely INSANE when we turn the corner and he knows he’s going to play with puppy and human friends! Finally the way he looks and smells after getting groomed can’t be described. Marvelous! Thank you Blue Collar!

My standard schnauzer puppy finally got a haircut! We’d tried 3 other places for just basic trims and all 3 said he was too squirmy to actually cut his hair. (Which was extra frustrating because all 3 also had puppy packages leading me to believe they could handle normal puppy behavior.)Anyway, I was really nervous about the drive up from Seattle being worth it. And my nerves were immediately set at ease. Before the cut, we talked about what we we’re looking for and the bad experiences we’d had. She could tell I was nervous and kindly called halfway through the cut to update me that he was doing great and he’d get a full cut.TL/DR: absolutely worth driving up from Seattle. Plus they do hand stripping, so he’ll get to keep some of his weather resistance as we enter rainy season.

These guys are AWESOME!!! Alaynah was especially amazing! They made sure our dogs were welcomed and comfortable and safe, and got their nails clipped in a timely manner (despite one dog climbing onto my brother's shoulder). They are also very clean and incredibly friendly. 15/10

If i could give ZERO stars i would. I called 2 months ago and got an appointment for grooming but when I took my dog in they had NO record, did not try to accommodate another apt or even a drop in. Their only offer was ‘maybe’ next week? That wasn’t even a for sure just a maybe if someone cancelled. I went to great pains to try this business and i won’t do it again!!In response to the business response: i have a specific situation, which i explained and the receptionist verified i was at the right business. I was not angry with her (or at all) but very frustrated that i called twice the day i set the appointment. We all make mistakes, however its how you recover from it. Before i left i apologized to the receptionist and said it was NOT her fault. However your system is wrong, i made the apt it was lost, accidents happen, but a vague offer for the next week isn’t acceptable IMO. And it is an opinion, take it or leave it, you opt to leave it and push back on the customer? No i checked my phone records too, called twice and had an appointment, that was lost. It happens but to push back on your customer? That is what will keep me from your business.

My dog is not the biggest fan of going to the groomer and usually starts shaking like a leaf when we enter. Blue collar is the exception. Not to mention this is the quickest groomer in town! Instead of waiting 4 hours like other places he is usually done in 2. I also appreciate being able to text or call to make an appointment. Easier than playing telephone tag.

We took our pup in for a full groom after having a negative experience at a previous groomer. The staff was very kind and attentive, and great with our pup. The process went pretty quick, and our dog was so happy when we picked her up. AND she looks absolutely amazing! We love her cut and cannot praise Blue Collar Doghouse enough. Well worth driving from Seattle and we can't wait for our next appointment!

I would highly recommend Blue Collar Doghouse for dog daycare! My [almost] 3 year old Golden Retriever loves coming here for daycare and is always super excited! The staff are very friendly, remember which dog is yours, and are passionate about being there and working with the dogs! I love that they send report cards out often with pictures/videos and a little note about how your dog's day was. My dog especially loves playing in the little doggy pool on hot summer days. The dog wash station is also convenient and reasonably priced for when you dont want to clog your drain at home with dog fur.The only thing I feel would make the overall experience even better/unmatched would be if the daycare opened just a little bit earlier (6:30/6:45am) to better accommodate commute times/timetables.

Under new ownership in the last year. Much better.Our dog LOVES Blue Collar. We have a very energetic 3 year old lab mix, and we needed a place that he could socialize and wear himself out while we work. We refer to Blue Collar as the party house because he's always so excited to go and comes home happy and tired. He practically sprints to the back to play when we drop him off and always comes back, wagging his tail and smiling.We recently got him a bath and blow out with the groomer while he was there for daycare. As a lab, his coat is short, but he has a lot of undercoat that was shedding. He came out sleek, soft, and smelling great! He doesn't need styling, but I've heard from a lot of people that the groomer there is amazing. He definitely looks and feels better after his groom and all while he was at daycare!

Love Blue Collar Dog House! Love that they are open so early and later in the evening, it really helps when you have an early/late day at work. Our two schnauzers love it there and always come home happy and tired from playing! They even have frozen treats for midday snackies which they love! Staff is very friendly and communicative. Highly recommend Blue Collar!

Their website says they groom problem dogs (they say it in a kind way) and they do! Our dachshund mix HATES having his nails trimmed and we have tried and failed to bribe and desensitize him to the process for years. I wish we would have called in the professionals sooner. The experience was courteous and efficient from start to finish. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

We have been taking our three legged rescue dog to Blue Collar for a year and a half, just about every week. Tiga comes home wiped from playing all day, and when fights, scraps, or minor injuries inevitably happen the staff is quick to respond and communicate with empathy and compassion.I worked at a doggy daycare in Denver a while back and I know what they have to deal with. I think the staff do a great job of greeting my pup, as well as seeing her out when it's time to go home. I have not used their grooming services other than getting Tiga's nails clipped every once in a while, but we frequently rely on their expert care for daycare

We really enjoy taking our dog to blue collar. We have noticed that she is more confident and relaxed when we take her to dog parks. She also gets extremely excited to go in blue collar when we arrive so we know she’s having a good time and cared for when there.
